1343  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [250'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: September 09, 2013, 04:52:26 AM
I have moved around but Like i said i have been happy with softlayer. They just build a new Level3 colation datacenter(or so i think it is. it says level3) I might be looking at to move some hardware to.
1344  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [250'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: September 09, 2013, 04:39:57 AM
I know it maybe out of the question but i know Softlayer has datacenters all across teh world. I have a server with them in Houston and Dallas. Been happy with there service and support. Not a blip of down time during Hurricane IKE in my houston server.
1345  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner randomly quitting. on: September 09, 2013, 04:06:25 AM
O sorry about putting this in the wrong section. Now as far as in time to time. It can crash in a couple of hours to days. Its random and it always happens when i am away from the computer.. lol
1346  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [250'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: September 09, 2013, 04:04:08 AM
You know something that makes me laugh is the fact that people come on here complain that the pool sucks. WELL considering that BTCGuild is the only pool that is racking in 252.58TH<- They GOT to be doing something right!  Grin

Rock on BTCGuild.  Cool

1348  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / BFGMiner randomly quitting. on: September 09, 2013, 03:49:35 AM
I have been having the issue with BFGMiner just randomly shutting down on me. This is on windows 7 pro x64  bfgminer3.1.4 with this line -o http://stratum.myguild.com:3333 -u myuser_1 -p 123 -G -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100

How do i stop this.

Windows does not shutdown. I have other programs that stay running also and they stay running.
Thanks for the help.

From the FAQ:
Quote
The pool reports a much lower hash rate than cgminer. What's going on?
If the estimate displayed on the site stays too low for more than 15 minutes, then you are almost certainly experiencing hardware errors.
cgminer checks every solution generated by your GPU, and if one turns out to be incorrect because of hardware errors it (rightfully) doesn't even submit it. Since pools can only estimate your hash rate based on how many solutions you submit in a given amount of time, their estimate will be lower than your real raw hashrate. This raw hashrate, which is correctly displayed by cgminer, is, however, not meaningful if the solutions your card generates are wrong.
You need to make sure that all (not just the top one) of the HW figures in cgminer are zero or next-to-zero; if that's not the case, you need to review your settings. Make sure you carefully read the documentation about scrypt mining provided with cgminer.
You may want to post the settings you are currently using and your GPU model.

They are Sapphire HD 7850 - all 3 of them

now the quest is how to get your hands on it.
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The First Litecoin PPS Pool on: September 08, 2013, 02:17:20 PM
Ill try to keep this under one thread but i got a little issue. working here.. Using cgminer it says my Kh/s are about 900kh/s BUT on the pools website it says its only at 300KH/s whats up with that and that is after a few hours of running?

Thanks for the help.

Have they announced how the miners will connect online? Will it be Wifi or Ethernet? Because I'm screwed if its ethernet. My campus won't let anything on ethernet other than Windows, Mac, and certain Linux distros with Cisco software. I'll need to tether Wifi or hack together some ethernet sharing.

have you not been reading?! lol. its ethernet, just get an adapter.

Reading... whats that? Huh

Yeah, I was never a big fan of the blades just because they're so...user-unfriendly.  I can understand requiring a bit of work to get something like a BitFury 400 GH/s kit running.  But not a 10-13 GH/s unit.

cant wait till they go on sale. How much you thinking?
1357  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [220'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: September 06, 2013, 11:59:54 PM
ship one my way. I can create plugs to make it plug and play.   Wink Grin

And speaking of shipping. Thanks for shipping my erupter. Be here monday. (BTCGuild rocks!  Cool)

It would be nice if they did! I would think that it would drive up pre-orders!
