681  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Will 2 Rockminer R-BOX work on the same PC? on: August 10, 2014, 06:00:08 AM
Yes, you can, but please be aware that unless your electricity is very cheap you won't make your money back.
682  Economy / Lending / Re: need the smallest loan anyone could provide to me. on: August 10, 2014, 05:48:14 AM
ok, let me get collateral.

Let me know as soon as you get the collateral. Via PM or here.

ok, let me get collateral.

I can provide you with a loan. Let me know what kind of valid collateral you have.

Guys, it's obvious that he doesn't need the loan. "Let me get collateral" implies that he is just going to buy altcoins to serve as collateral, and since he can buy altcoins, he doesn't need this loan at all.
683  Economy / Services / Re: who can help my friend, whose coins are stolen by hacker,1 BTC bounty on: August 09, 2014, 03:04:28 PM
-snip-
my friend say that he didn't send out any coin almost half an year, but only withdraws litecoins from exchange a few days ago. it's strange ,only wallet address for  withdrawing from exchange lost money, other wallet has not.
he has put the private key in computer, i think hacker has stolen the private, but the private key has set password, hacker should has not get the password.
could the key stroke logger get the password half an year ago?

#1 It makes no sense to proxy this via you as your understanding is limited e.g. wallet is not the same as address. Your friend might also not share everything with you. In my experience even if you ask people direclty (knowing their browser history): have you ever watched porn online, they will try to come up with a lie or clever response.
#2 From experience here: it was malware or someone with hardware access - you can doubt that all you want, those that cared to shared long enough in the past allways found malware.
#3 in the rare cases that it was not #2 it was a bad password (123456 is not a good password) or an unencrypted backup
#4 if the bounty is set high enough, people will come and try to help. Some here are even able to do so. AFAIK they usually contact the person in question in private.
yes, my friend remembered that he has change the password once after withdrawing from exchange.
for #4, if someone can take back the coins, he can open a price to me.

Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, so no, you won't get your coins back at all, unless the hacker decides to return them.
684  Economy / Lending / Re: need the smallest loan anyone could provide to me. on: August 09, 2014, 02:06:30 PM
The answer is no!!

Don't try to ask for a free loan again

wait who are you? if you dont want to loan me then just dont answer and go away just click your browser away and never come here again?

Wait who are you? If you can't even read the rules, just don't request a loan and go away?
685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is It necessarily to update your Bitcoin Core to newest version? on: August 09, 2014, 01:38:46 PM
Whenever a big update comes out, such as 0.x or 0.9.x, etc. You should update, because there will be new bugfixes and possibly a fork (I hope that doesn't happen).
686  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ANX: Your Ultimate Crypto Trading Platform on: August 09, 2014, 10:41:46 AM
is it possible to trade EUR <-> bitcoin on ANXBTC ? I ask because on the top of your homepage you can't switch to other currencies like you can do on ANXPRO.

Yes, you can do so.
687  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: August 08, 2014, 02:50:36 PM
So it's the same with bitcoin. I noticed that too in vertcoin/monocoin and the crytonight coins (xmr/fcn). The merged coins don't have much value and I wondered if it was worth the effort.

It really doesn't make that much of a difference, so why even bother implementing it. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Ask yourself: Would you give ~18$ to a random guy who just joined?

who are you talking to 17 activity guy...

Please close this thread. No one will give you a loan.
Also, your "custom signature" is just a ripoff from PrimeDice's.
691  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to buy from Gridseed directly? on: August 08, 2014, 01:30:04 PM
they are real..
1. somebody mailed me
2. i mailed to "sales@gridseed.com" and asked if it was a real mail.
3. sales@gridseed.com replied and said yes..

scammers would tell me where to send btc. they just simply confuse me! ^^

Wow, someone replied "yes", so it's real!
Welcome to the real world. Email addresses can easily be spoofed. If you are ever conducting a trade, ask the other guy to GPG sign something or sign it with their address.
692  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: August 08, 2014, 01:26:04 PM
From what I understand, merged mining is still mining bitcoin. But since some coins are based on bitcoin code, you can use the same hashing power to mine those coins, like for example namecoin. Of course, those coins should support merged mining for you to be able to do this. For example, for a single hashing power, you mine bitcoin and namecoin, without losing or dividing hashing power. Some bitcoin pools already support merged mining. I think this is what lunamine is saying in their ad.

I just don't know if current merged mining setups bring in considerable additional income.

What you are saying is correct, but the merge-mined coins are of really little value, such as Namecoin, Ixcoin and Devcoin. They don't really make a difference, and exchanging them is a unnecessary hassle.
693  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to buy from Gridseed directly? on: August 08, 2014, 10:18:55 AM
-snip-

From my experience they only deal in bulk and don't ship outside China.

They only sell to resellers such as Beastlymac, MinerEU, GAWMiners and others. And yes, only in bulk at discounted prices.
If you're going to buy 1 Gridseed A1, I would give you the same answer. Go and buy from a reseller.
694  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 STEAM credit for only $2!! [0.003btc] CrAzY Deal!! on: August 08, 2014, 08:10:34 AM
Can I have one please?
Thanks in advance!
695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges on: August 08, 2014, 08:01:31 AM
Hard to tell which is the best one but cryptsy has the largest volume

You should deposit small amount to each and test it out yourself.

Cryptsy gets many complaints of ignored withdrawals.

Basically, every exchange is different and target different people. BitStamp is for EU and USA customers, CoinBase for USA, etc.

I recommend ANX, we support SEPA (EU) Low-fee transfers, EgoPay, HK and AUS direct banking, and have fees as low as 0.05%. We also launched the world's first Bitcoin Debit Card.

697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is mining even profitable anymore? on: August 07, 2014, 01:44:32 PM
Unless you are paying very little for electricity, no, you won't earn anything at all.
You can also move to another country with low electricity fees, but I doubt you'd do that.
Try other multipools.
698  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining bitcoin still rentable? on: August 07, 2014, 01:11:22 PM
Electricity @ $.03/kWh is extremely cheap. You'll likely at least break even with gloomy projections. Conservatively, you're probably looking at around $25-75 profit after three months, with a "maximum profit" of ~$200-600 after ~5-10 months (after which, it's a paperweight). -But a warning fwiw: difficulty and price can swing out of your favor quickly, so it's a gamble, not something safe.

And obviously, if you buy more, you would profit more, lol.

Thank u for answering, not so good at writting but i do understand english lol (your spanish was good), yeah i dont know why they say that, though is not so easy to sell a 400us bitcoin miner in Argentina since there isnt a big mining community here. thats why i have to be careful when i buy this, if breakeven and then win some money im good.

You can ship it to other countries, but the shipping will be a bit expensive.

You can lock this topic yourself, by using the "lock topic" button.
700  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining bitcoin still rentable? on: August 07, 2014, 12:59:37 PM
If you have such a low electricity cost, you should go for it. Once the miner starts becoming a bit unprofitable, you can then sell it.

Si tienes un coste de electricidad tan bajo, deberías hacerlo. Cuando el minero empieze a causar pérdidas de dinero (lo dicen asi en Argentina?) puedes venderlo.
