The price has never been stable. What are you talking about?  It's people shitting their pants over the BitLicense crap. Who cares, but some big whales do, and they dumped like 1k BTC and made the price go down. It was months stable ever about 480 to 500 euro. Never heard for BitLicense No, that's not stable at all. And no, it wasn't at 480 EUR to 500 EUR. ($641-$669). Highest was $670, lowest was $560 for the last month. Seriously. That's not stable at all. Never heard of BitLicense? You must've been living under a rock, please read the news. What do you think the price will have done by Monday? It's either going to remain roughly the same, or go significantly up or down. I can not predict which it will do, but maybe someone with more experience can. I expect it to stay within the $575-$590 range, or go above $600. to a bank account PayPal not allowed will searching for a master card.. Theres no direct way for exchanging bitcoins, you know. Try an exchange like ANXPRO. |

If I'm understanding this correctly, you have no definite date that you'll pay off the loan completely, but you're pledging at least 0.2 btc weekly until repayment is finished? Anything else you can reassure me of besides your "good words"? He has no collateral, obviously, but his trust should be enough. If he sold tha account, he would get more anyway. |

Doesn't BTCjam use net-arb? Or are those for bigger loans?
BTCJam takes all your documents and never releases them, even to arbitration. Plus the lender has to pay for the arbitration process ($300 IIRC) of which they'll probably never see again either. BTCJam know this, they've known this for a very long time. They just don't care because they get their cut. Not true at all. You don't have to pay anything, and they do release the documents, but only the Addresses and such. |

No, you cannot. The trust system is not moderated, so you can do nothing about it.
This would be ridiculous. You can't allow a scammer (if he is one) in the default trust. Contacting theymos might be hard at times. To be honest, it is a bit ridiculous. He'd have to make this case known to theymos and the other mods, and they would have to make a judgement, which should be a long process. |

OK, I know Im new to this site, but been trading bitcoins for a long time, but never gave a loan to anyone. I wouldn't mind lending this but only with solid insurance I get paid back. Can some of the other members, (not the op) tell me the safest way, if at all, to do that....?
Make him provide collateral. Read the stickies in this section. That's like the only way, unless he has a lot of trust. But he doesn't, so collateral is the key. |

Short answer: no. Mining on a laptop is pointless for pretty much any coin. It sounds like you don't know much about mining so I'd suggest spending a bit of time reading up on it. If you really want to mine try mine a new alt coin that you can trade for bitcoins, but I still wouldnt even attempt to do it on a laptop.
I suggest you attempt to read the OP, since you aren't even trying. Seriously. I recently bought 3 GawMiners Fury and I was wondering if my laptop that I bought a month back is able to on 24/7 and if it is possible to optimize the furys to its fullest?
My laptop is Alienware 17.

You can then give us some sort of an Address Verification (Bills, etc.). well, i've moved twice since then actually. currently living with my fiance in her parents house, so no bills of my own besides my cell phone anyway. that and they were shipped via fedex and ups - so the address would be their stores. and since i've moved from utah back to texas, that wouldn't help. well, for starters: full legal name is arklan uth oslin (no middle name, thats first and last only) and being such a unique name, almost all the results (for even just arklan) are me. I'm willing to provide this loan in full if you have not already settled everything. I have not read every post closely, but as far as I can tell, you currently owe one member 0.66btc and once paid off, another member will loan you the $1k.
If you can provide some strong evidence that your forum account was never purchased or sold (you're still the original owner since creation), in addition to some other verifications, then I'm willing to provide you the loan without having to pay off the other 0.66 btc loan first. Let me finish reading the rest to make sure I got the story straight.
i'm happy to do any reasonable verifications. back when i did the asicminer usb group buys, i was verified by john k, including pictures of me. i figure i can contact him and send a picture of me and this thread, and he'd then verify it's still me. i would just post said picture, but i don't think there's any other pic of me on this forum. course, the general internet has plenty going back well before i got involved here, come to think of it... hmm. Unfortunately, John K has disappeared from the forum for some time now. We have a picture of you, though, but that doesn't prove much, unless we get a verification from someone else. Collateral: Something with a value equal to or superior to the value of the loan, that can be liquidated easily for said value. A minecraft account cannot be sold, it can be easily recovered, so it's not collateral. I don't think there is an escrow in Singapore, so no, that isn't collateral either, if you can't ship it. It doesn't look like you will get the loan. |
