1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Buy the dip" is only a strategy for losers on: December 02, 2018, 08:28:27 PM
We see it every time Bitcoin goes to a new lower level.

Bitcoin "believers" will hurry to say "buy the dip" and "just wait it will come back"

Reality is that every dip is a new lower level - and after that comes another dip...and another.

In the beginning of 2017 very few people had Bitcoin - and therefore the price could quickly move up as a large number of people with zero financial understanding started buying Bitcoin.

Now a large number of people with zero understanding has Bitcoin and price moves down - there are no more new fools to get into Bitcoin to ever pump it again.

"Buy the dip" is something only fools believe - and as can be seen in here there are unfortunately many fools in here who do not understand that their money is already lost

It looks like you lack patience.  Investing in bitcoin is a long term game.  Those that bought the dip will be the ones laughing when the crypto marketcap is in the trillions.

Losses don't matter until you actually sell anyways.  Perhaps your just a manipulator that is looking to crash the price more so you can buy up cheap bitcoin.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: December 02, 2018, 08:18:57 PM
The amounts I gamble aren't going to break the bank.  I see gambling as a fun side hobby and it makes sports a lot more exciting.  Matches have become kind of boring unless I have money riding on a game.  I suspect most people are just after easy money but I have a good time even if I lose.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone has to stop this "forks" shit! on: December 02, 2018, 08:12:05 PM
This is a free market and people should be able to make as many forks and copycat coins as they want.  The users will decide which network to support and ultimately what crypto becomes the most valuable.  The whole point of decentralization is that we are free to do what we want and are not bound by government regulations.
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still have a chance to goes 15k by the end of 2018,Really? on: December 02, 2018, 08:06:47 PM
8k-10k range is still possible by the end of this year.  A 2x is nothing for bitcoin and it has been done within a month before.  A lot of big names were predicting new all time highs this year but it probably won't happen.  2019 will be the year of the substantial rise when bitcoin goes over 30k and maybe even to 50k.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam?? on: December 02, 2018, 07:56:31 PM
Cloud mining isn't always a scam but it will usually be unprofitable.  If it was a risk free business that made easy profits they wouldn't have to search far and wide for new investors.  If you want to invest in crypto you should just mine the coins yourself and if you don't have access to cheap electricity just buy the coins.
1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: December 01, 2018, 06:01:44 PM
Bill Gates is a businessman and I smell like there is a fear of Bill Gates on cryptocurrencies  Cheesy, whatever Bill Gates said about the cryptocurrency will not stop the growth of cryptocurrencies. therefore I don't think there is anything to worry about this Bill Gates statement...

His best buddy Warren Buffet is heavily invested in traditional banking systems.  Bill Gates knows the true potential of cryptocurrency but he wants to see it fail.

Do not fall for the propaganda of Bill Gates' charitable donations, he is pushing harmful vaccines and a depopulation agenda on the world.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need a global virtual marketplace for cryptocurrencies? on: December 01, 2018, 05:20:50 PM
Decentralized marketplaces and exchanges still haven't taken off.  Private companies have more incentive to advertise their platforms because of the profit motive.

Hopefully overtime decentralization will become bigger because a lot of the bigger exchanges have ended up losing customer funds and refusing to issue refunds.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is ''SPORTSBET.IO'' is GOOD? on: December 01, 2018, 03:45:30 PM
I never had a problem using sportsbet.io.  One of the best places to bet on sports.

There will always be a group of people that will complain about almost anything and will scream if their problem isn't solved in a short amount of time.  If you have any issues just be patient and wait for customer service to assist you.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: December 01, 2018, 03:35:52 PM
Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.

At this point a lot of people don't even care about making a profit they just want to break even.  Many bagholders are waiting for the price they bought at so they can immediately dump and relieve their stress.  I'm kind of in the same situation for the altcoins that I bought, most of them are down 90% or more.
1070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Dumping, What can we do ? on: December 01, 2018, 03:22:08 PM
Some people are calling for 3k, 2k ,1k levels to be hit but I don't think it's going to happen.  There is too much buy pressure under 4k.  I strongly believe this is the last time we will be able to purchase bitcoin this cheap.  All the people waiting on the sidelines are going to regret not buying bitcoin at 4k, it's an easy 5x when it goes back to the previous high.
1071  Economy / Economics / Re: Insuring the crypto assets. Is it possible? on: December 01, 2018, 03:14:37 PM
You could probably find insurance for crypto if your talking about theft.  Dropping prices is a completely different ball game.

I've heard of celebrities insuring their body parts for millions and many other ridiculous things, if the price is right an insurance company won't turn you down.  They love easy money.
1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Laundering started with banks not bitcoins. on: December 01, 2018, 03:09:33 PM
More illegal transactions are still done with cash instead of bitcoin.  It's stupid that this is one of the main arguments against bitcoin, that it is used for black market transactions.  You don't blame the gun for committing murder, you blame the person responsible.  It's too late for governments to ban bitcoin anyways and they would rather regulate it at this point.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: DYOR before joining!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: November 30, 2018, 03:01:10 PM
You are right because majority FOMO'ed and wasn't able to get out on time. And for those who have bought it at such a high price, majority of them get out when the price goes below the 5 digit mark and bitching around that they have lost in this market and blaming bitcoin.

It's a hard lessons to learn but you need to understand that the price doesn't go on parabolic rise although the market is fairly young, but you can see that it works on cycle. So now we're on the wrong side of it because its goes on a bearish mode for almost a year now. So there's no guarantee whatsoever that you will always see good profits.

All these people had to do was hold but they lacked patience.  Go back and look at the past bitcoin charts, these type of crashes are normal and bitcoin always rebounds stronger.  There is also a lot of manipulation at work here and the bitcoincash hash wars made the crash even worse.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why HODLers now pray for banks and institutions to enter if Bitcoin... on: November 30, 2018, 02:57:07 PM
The earlier crowd was heavily against the banking system and many of them were libertarians.  The newer investors came to the crypto market for easy money and they could care less about government intervention.  The goal was still accomplished even if institutions get involved in crypto because you are still in complete control of your funds.
1075  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Want to buy old unprofitable miners at scrap price on: November 30, 2018, 01:49:17 PM
We aren't at that point yet, sorry.  There are a lot of people with free electricity that are profitable with old miners.  I realize someone is paying for the electricity but it's included in their rent or someone else is paying for it so they don't care.

This may be the best time to jump into mining because people are quitting and the hardware is dirt cheap.
1076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for Alpha Testers. on: November 30, 2018, 01:36:23 PM

1.  I usually gamble 2-3 times a week, usually just sports betting on a couple matches and maybe a few roulette spins.

2.  I gamble small amounts usually below .02 BTC

3.  Like I said above I mostly bet on sports.

4.  I think KYC is a big issue in the crypto gambling world.  Some sites delay payments for a long time because of KYC.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: November 30, 2018, 01:25:34 PM
When I was little my mother used to buy me a few lottery tickets when we went grocery shopping.  I also used to play some video games that had gambling aspects but no real money was on the line.  My father and I had a habit of placing small wagers on sports.  It would usually be for doing a chore and choosing what activity we did afterwards.
1078  Economy / Economics / Re: The market is looking healthy and greener all over again on: November 30, 2018, 01:06:46 PM
This is why it's dangerous to short bitcoin, it has been known to spike in a short amount of time.  The only people that can safely short are those with inside information or the whales themselves.

We may dip below $4k again if CSW decides to dump more of his personal stash.  Ver and Jihan may have more to dump as well.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: November 28, 2018, 06:35:00 PM
Once again, the cavaliers are terrible without Lebron James.  Put Lebron on any team and they instantly become a title contender.  His style of play can mesh with any player unlike Kobe.  It's funny that kobe was considered a ballhog that only plays for himself because Lebron James actually has a higher career scoring average.  (27 ppg)
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed, bull run begins now, what expectations? on: November 28, 2018, 06:27:53 PM
The bull run can begin at anytime so don't wait too long to pick up cheap coins.  Right now mainstream news is declaring bitcoin to be dead which means the bullrun will probably start soon. Smiley

We will reach new all time highs, you just have to be patient and not sell anything for a small profit.
