841  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is helping out Cubans and Venezuelans on: November 11, 2021, 01:30:15 AM
Things had been really for Venezuelans before bitcoin came and even after bitcoin was accepted into the country.

If I'm not wrong then there's going to be a cryptocurrency with the GOLD reserve in IRAQ that will be used worldwide but has faced many oppositions by US
842  Economy / Economics / Re: Wisdom in laying down on: November 10, 2021, 09:54:48 PM
This is about the Tang Ping movement in China and the effects of motivation in the economy. China, with their tracking of "good citizens" behaviour, is including things like boycotts to certain brands or certain uses of games and technology. The Tang Ping document means literally "lay down", and is a call to reject the massive pressure from the state, low wages and poor conditions.

China may be taking it too far.

Their "Good citizens" are those who obey the country's power without any objection and are sheepy.
In any case, it's hard to go against their dictatorship which is still a possibility that some do.

China's Social Credit system will ruin everything for the people who want free will and they will be forced to leave the country as cryptocurrency miners did.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they against PoW? on: November 10, 2021, 08:02:52 PM
As most users already mentioned that it's due to a waste of energy.
Another reason could be due to not having enough energy supply to those regions where a majority of people are mining the crypto-currencies.
844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to store your keys? on: November 09, 2021, 09:31:30 PM
In my opinion you should use a dairy for it and a safe locker . So in that case your key and wallet will be secured .u can also use ur computer etc, but hard copy is the best for it.

That's the most what you've said.

Hardcopy is probably the best idea if you're going to store a large sum of bitcoin at a particular address.
It's also much better to divide and store your bitcoins into multiple addresses and keep the hard copy of the private keys of those addresses.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: November 09, 2021, 09:18:01 PM
Elon Musk is a cult figure for some of the smartest people on the planet. So what he's doing with the Dogecoin baffles me.
I mean, they say the Internet doesn't recognize any form of hierarchy, but I think Musk has delusions of god-like grandeur.

Most likely he's doing dogecoin-related stuff for his own amusement, He could easily make billions through his other businesses which he already has recently.
In any case Elon will continue to meme around Dogecoin for his own amusement and by showing public that how easy it is for him to play with the perception of many.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No one can continue ignoring Bitcoin on: November 09, 2021, 09:14:37 PM
Well, there are people that are still against bitcoin for various reasons, one of them being their control challenged.
In any case, the more exposure bitcoin gets the more and more new people to start to accept it.
I've seen people talking about bitcoin in their daily life and getting the group to start using bitcoin.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York's Mayor-Elect to Take His First Paychecks in Bitcoin on: November 09, 2021, 09:05:28 PM
I'm not surprised, to be honest.
People will switch from classic banking to cryptocurrencies completely.
You will see certain restaurants and shops in majority of countries giving discounts for paying through Crypto currencies.
848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion in our society on: November 05, 2021, 09:28:44 PM
Yes, you are right all religions talk about good and lead man to the right track. It's up to the man's own discretion whether he chooses the right path or the bad one. We can't believe any religion that its followers have chosen a bad path or done something bad.
Also, society play's an important role in this regard. Lesser opportunities, racism, and the differences of thoughts of the elite class, middle class, and lower-middle-class, as well as the people beyond the level of the lower middle class, is also important key factor. We can reduce the crime rates by providing equal opportunities and justice to people of all classes.
849  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Americans will burn in hell for eternity on: November 05, 2021, 09:14:00 PM
Totally disagree with your thought. We can't judge someone on the native grounds.
There might (and surely be) many people of good eternity and thought who don't want violence.
Also, no religion asks its followers to be violent. I don't live in the USA and had never been to the USA but this anti-Americanism cannot be justified. Please do be racist or judgemental on the grounds of your negative thoughts towards the Americans.
850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the world safe from the threat of the corona virus? on: November 05, 2021, 08:40:44 PM
Any disease can become a serious threat if undertreated or not treated well.
You might know the history of malaria. In the past, it was a serious and almost a high killing disease of that time.
A lot of people died due to malaria until an accidental discovery of penicillin lead it to become a controlled disease. Similarly in the current ERA when the threat of coronavirus has become moderately low we should not get careless and must be vigilant for our own safety and the safety of our loved ones.
851  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [Plandemic Survey] I wonder how many of you have been vaccinated ? on: November 05, 2021, 08:38:58 PM
Well there were multiple factors involved for me to get vaccinated.
Firstly it was for sure a matter of precaution as the pandemic situation was getting worse day by day.
Also for the precaution of the family was involved. Secondly, it was getting a mandatory factor for employment also the instructions of the government was the recommendation of WHO and yes of course my own wish to get vaccinated
852  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Library ? Or Internet ? on: November 04, 2021, 09:51:21 PM
Both are equally reliable and important. We cannot neglect the importance of either one.
We can't undervalue the importance of the old against new technology.
Though it's easy to search the information over the internet rather than to visit the library and physically search for your required information.
Yet all the information on the internet cannot be classified as accurate or real information.
In my opinion, both are important and one cannot completely replace the other and vice versa.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 04, 2021, 09:48:23 PM

But haven't placed many bets in Sportsbetting and Poker but mostly Dice on a well-known gambling website in past but not now.

Anyways what do you prefer most!

Sports - Live casino or Dice
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputable dice sites with instant/flash bets on: November 04, 2021, 09:42:16 PM

855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 04, 2021, 09:29:05 PM
Today is LoL Worlds final (DWG vs EDG)

DWG is being undefeated till now and has also defeated T1 in the semi-finals, I think there's a good chance DWG will win this easily.
And also the odds are over 1.25x in most of the Esports betting websites.
What do you think?
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: November 04, 2021, 09:25:11 PM
If you only have $10 left in your sports betting account, would you go for the champ which you can only earn $3, or go for the underdog which if he got lucky can triple your money?

First if you are not certain about the Fighters, you do your research and check statistics from their very recent encounters, before you place your bet. You check their preparations for the encounter. Fighter A the champ may just be an overhyped fighter with old glory, who may loose as a result of underestimating the underdog, who in some cases train very hard and when they are out to fight, you see the hunger in them to win. I am a risk take plus I like big wins, i may decide to risk it and bet on the underdog knowing a win will bring big profit.

I think there could be youtube videos of those fighters, of them, saying how hard they worked for the match, etc.

Also as Ruchi mentioned their statistics speak a lot.
Today for example is the game of DWG vs EDG in LoL worlds.
DWG here has been undefeated till now and has also Defeated T1 which was superior to EDG (Statistically speaking).
So there's a good chance DWG will win this and the odds for DWG are around 1.3x
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 04, 2021, 09:18:52 PM
~snip~
This pandemic did really bring out some pro's and con's on several businesses because people are now having more time on screen or
into their computer which is understandable on what industries would really take out advantage.
^ Definitely right and not only in the gambling industry people had an interest people also found out about cryptocurrency and these cryptocurrencies use as a tool to use to place a bet on the gambling casino. That is the reason why BTC as of now I can consider is perfect timing why they got investors and even those NTF play-to-earn games also got hype. So it means that people are now relying on the internet because the pandemic was still there, any people are looking for something they could earn online and for a quick ROI for investment and yet a very risky idea is to gamble your crypto.

Yes, The reason is people don't have to go outside into a public casino that has a higher house edge (but that's another thing).
Also, there are live casinos on certain crypto gambling websites, Dice is however the most popular one.
858  Economy / Services / Re: New Jersey only. I will pay you $3/bet to place bets for me online. on: November 04, 2021, 08:54:35 AM
Wow surprisingly I cant remember seeing this particular request before for some reason.   I guess most would ask someone in their online betting group or whatever, is it sports bets you dont really illustrate.   Send me details via pm if you prefer but as you are new to the forum hopefully you get which direction this would work.

Most likely he works for some sports betting Bookie that operates in New Jersey.
859  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Benefits of international trade. on: November 03, 2021, 06:35:55 PM
International trade is an important aspect of any countries economical growth as well as social growth.
It allows easy access to the international markets which allows to promote trade, culture, harmony, and create good relations with other nations as well as government.
But we must promote the industries which are working at a small level so that they can reach the international markets in order to promote and sell their products.
860  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abortion should be banned. on: November 03, 2021, 06:02:31 PM
Yes, it should be banned. A part of all differences of opinions among religions or individual thoughts.
I am against abortion. Babies have no mistakes so they should not be suffered.
It definitely is a killing of like. Every soul surely has the right to live and should not be killed by abortion as well. This should be completely banned and illegal.
