901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: October 20, 2021, 11:28:54 PM
Why it would need to be regulated by law? Laws are local to countries while the streams are broadcasted internationally then laws can't do anything IMHO. Only streaming platforms like Twitch can do something against that.

I think regulating through Law isn't that bad if the commission's government take is low so the casino can set low House edge, But we know that's not how it works.

Government is greedy and will likely take as many possible commissions as it can from the Gambling company.
Well for Twitch there are streamers that are warning their users by putting 18+ in those streams but we also know that things don't work that way.
Children don't like to follow the rules at least not the majority of them so that 18+ in gambling live streams aren't doing much Unless there's a verification system on twitch accounts that doesn't allow kids to watch 18+ streams is a good idea.
902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: October 20, 2021, 11:17:40 PM
Yes definitely, I used Bitcoin to purchase a few things. For example, the domain name from Namecheap for me and for others as well. I have bought an Amazon gift card from the forum with Bitcoin. As I can remember I have used Bitcoin in these two things, I never used any other coin like litecoin or Ethereum to purchase anything. If you are wondering to integrate a payment gateway on your platform then I will suggest using Bitcoin. It is most secured and I am not sure if it is possible for you but you may use a lightning network to reduce fees.

That's great, I do remember buying league of legends gift cards and Amazon Gift from 2 websites that accepted bitcoin as payment for those Cards.
There were other websites but they had bad reviews so I avoided them.

Regarding fee you're correct also, Segwit is the best option right now average transaction to get confirmation of 1 requires 6 V/B which costs around 600-700 Satoshis.

But if you can wait for a day then 1 Sat/B fee can also work it will cost around 100-150 Satoshis which is not that much.
903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2021, 11:13:00 PM
Yes! I will sell some if I need cash to use for my business, the rest I will keep and when the market drops if possible I always try to hoard more bitcoins for myself. Investing in bitcoin is also a job that helps us cover our daily lives so I'll never hold them forever. I won't starve to keep bitcoins, I will sell when it is profitable and buy back if it drops.

I wouldn't suggest you wait for the market to drop but the history is repeating itself, Bitcoin hit the ATH of 60,000+ around this time and played around that price range for quite some time.

And this year that ATH is broken, So watch out there's a good chance for Bitcoin hitting 100,000 $/Coin, I mean a huge chance.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 20, 2021, 11:09:11 PM
T1 vs Hawha Life Esports, There's no denying that T1 has a huge chance of winning the best of 5.

And the odds on gambling websites are also around 1.2x for T1.
Its tragic T1 is suffering a lot mostly the Bang was removed or left the team and Faker had good synergy with him after playing with them for years.

I will choose T1 for the win in tomorrow's best of 5 but we've seen surprising matches so anything can happen.

906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin > Gold on: October 19, 2021, 11:58:56 PM
I wouldn't compare both because Gold is physical and bitcoin is digital.

Gold will still have its value even if the civilization falls and so does the network on which bitcoin runs but that's a hypothetical situation but explains the point I'm trying to present.

Another thing that Bitcoin has over Gold is transaction speed and no physical involvement while making the transaction, everything is digital.

There's a lot of Transaction fees for gold if you Buy it from overseas but that's not the case with bitcoin.
907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems face Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2021, 11:54:28 PM
What problems in Bitcoin's infrastructure prevent it from being adopted more easily?

I've expressed my views regarding this in a similar topic in past.

Don't worry I'll say it again in brief, News is the reason mostly that's preventing people to adopt bitcoin and gambling related rumors surrounding bitcoin.
rumors like bitcoin are only used for gambling and deep web related services which creates a false image of bitcoin in many people and prevents them from using it.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: October 19, 2021, 11:37:21 PM
I am interested what do you guys use for payments.

I like Litecoin paying the most (superfast and supercheap) but I am not afraid to pay with Bitcoin.

Doing this little research because I am preparing project
I will appreciate honest answers and comments

Thank you

I've used Litecoin and many companies including refill companies are accepting litecoin but if you use Bitcoin Segwit then you're paying a small fee in Bitcoins around 0.1$ at the time I made the last transaction and it cost me around 0.000001 BTC or 100 satoshis.

I'd say use Both but when the Bitcoin's mempool isn't loaded with transactions and the last few blocks are getting confirmed at minimum 1sat/B then use this fee or 2 or even 3sat/B, It isn't a lot if paying for some service that accepts only bitcoins.
909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: October 19, 2021, 11:32:21 PM
Do you spend your Bitcoins or just hodl?

If you spend
What for and do you miss something that cannot be bought for Bitcoin yet?

If you hodl
For how long and why don't you spend?
Do you have exit strategy or you will spend it after you can buy your desired thing?

Recently i need bitcoins for some personal expenditure so i've to sell bitcoin that i earn along with what i make from the part time job.
What i used to do before was trading with the bitcoins since i didn't had to worry about selling them in short term so i can ride on for a long run in a pair and make some profit.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ***BREAKING *** Bitcoin ETF is approved on: October 18, 2021, 09:30:27 PM
If you cast Bitcoin and Bitcoin ETFs aside then the future is going into the digital age.
It's pushed in a certain direction but who knows if there's going to be a plan for oneworld government, Banks already owns most of the power.

There was a documentary I posted somewhere but it was removed for being off topic so let me see if i can find it.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: October 18, 2021, 09:26:14 PM
If I am not wrong then Tesla decided to remove bitcoin from their payment system.
Does anyone out of you know if they finally decided to accept it again?
912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 18, 2021, 06:55:23 PM
I don't think ETH as a shit coin. But if ever eth surpassed bitcoin I see no reason quitting bitcoin. Why would I ? Surpassing bitcoin does not mean that bitcoin is useless already and I don't think it will last long. On the other hand just because eth surpass it, it is not enough reason to quit. Crypto is very unstable and we do not know what will happened next but knowing how good bitcoin is, it is possible to take its place as number one again.

I don't think ETH will ever surpass bitcoin, It might reach a close market cap but it's going to remain under which Bitcoin has.

There had been people saying the same about Ripple and now you can check those people in Reddit XRP groups.
But they're not limited to only Reddit, these people are trying to create XRP hype on youtube also.
913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you quit Bitcoin if a shitcoin like Ethereum surpassed it? on: October 14, 2021, 09:09:07 PM
There is a lot of shilling lately (again) with "the flippening" event happening. Ethereum has created a new market which is basically 99% scam tokens, rugpulls, pump and dumps and NFTs which are probably used for money laundering. Anyway, the thing is, there is definitely if a demand for all of that, even if it's all based on a platform that's not decentralized.

So to the point: Would you quit if a centralized shitcoin managed to surpass Bitcoin in marketcap? At that point it would be clear that entire space is a joke. Bitcoin would still march on as usual, but it would be just sad to see people putting their money on shitcoins rather than on the only actually decentralized blockchain worth anything.

It's being used for money laundering definitely.
Those NFTs are useless and there's this NFT of money worth over 30ETHs, I saw it on a streamer's live stream.

What this means is to show that something's worthy and will be useful in the future and people will follow that after some rich people start accepting it, and we know the influence rich have.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: October 14, 2021, 09:04:01 PM
I guess you don't have to worry about gambling when you have unlimited sponsorship money! Grin So trusting such streamers is like trusting Twitter's shitcoin shillers!
Gambling is fundamentally unprofitable for players, and by trusting ads that are designed to attract new gamblers you increase the risks!

Seriously these streamers don't care about their audience.

See YouTubers like RiceGum, JapePual.
And recently I've started watching a streamer from the league community and he's promoting a well known gambling casino to their audience knowing full well the majority of the audience is under 18. But that solves after they put 18+ in the video but does that work for people who wants to break rules whenever they can?
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: October 14, 2021, 07:58:52 PM
I don't believe in all these screenshots there fakes and I trust more on videos, I have seen a good number of people who have won the lottery I have a friend who won 1 Bitcoin a couple of months ago.
I only think that capturing video is necessary when you're live streaming, vlogging, trying to prove something and etc, but if you just play for fun without having thoughts of posting it online then there's no way you can record those, so screenshot is enough to share the winning.

If your friend hold those 1 btc until now, s/he would be more happy seeing his winning accumulating more profits.

of course any image can be faked using photoshop but sometimes it's possible to verify lottery results on-chain
I usually prefer provably fair methods of doing giveaways, lotteries and stuff like that

It's weirder when people use those faked screenshots and send that to your Email in order to get you to play on a particular website.

I've seen similar photoshopped images on ads that randomly pop up when I surf some websites that embed these ads.

it's really hard to trust yobit with all this scammy emails and stories
they have promos all the time with something like: deposit now and earn 10% per week
like, who falls for that?

better to stay away

I found that line of your is funny but not in an offensive way  Grin

In past, i used to think the same that "who would fall for that"

But then I saw people falling for Ponzi schemes that offered around 1000% return on monthly basis and I couldn't believe it, If it was 100% then it's still believed able but over 1000%.

I also remember falling for a Ponzi scheme back in 2016, I was quite new at the time to all that but my loss was around 3 BTC investing in them, at the time it was around 800$.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹 Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 14, 2021, 06:30:10 PM
Did anyone saw 100 thieves vs SKT T1 match of League of legends worlds?

Didn't check the betting odds of the match but it was easy to predict the match, there was no chance 100 thieves beating SKT.
Odds are in favor of T1 I remember the live odds are hovering around 1.2 to 1.3 after the drafting phase. I only caught the first few mins of the match then stopped watching after the first blood gank on the bot.

Locked in my parlay for T1 and EG @2.06, T1 -1.5 should've been my initial bet but unfortunately stake isn't offering any handicaps for the match. Very confident on T1 to win the match and even sweep the series since they have the better individual players. Same goes for EG even though they struggled quite a bit in the groups, I doubt they'll do the same mistake throughout the playoffs and the h2h favors EG as they took down VG during the animajor.

I think T1 will reach finals in this Worlds.
And tomorrow only 4 teams will compete with each other.
- Cloud 9
- DWG ( 2020 Worlds winners)
- RGE
- FPX

I'd say DWG will will all their matches but I haven't checked the betting odds of those games.
918  Economy / Reputation / Re: Little Mouse and RapTarX - What is this connection? on: October 14, 2021, 02:07:08 PM

You spinning your head once more :

A good tactic to defend someone in a controlled manner btw.

All is in the past, but hacker, you should slow your roll a little bit. You went from shitposting bounty hunter to lender to forum issues expert too quickly.

I'd prefer Jolly Over you after reading this by nutildah.

Recently 2double0 opened a loan request thread asking for what turned out to be a 0.05BTC loan (it looks like it might have originally been 0.06, but that is not really important).

I know based on blockchain evidence that 2double0 used to be owed by marcotheminer and believe he was for many years, however marco is/was also an account seller, so it is not out of the realm of possibility that it was sold.

I saw the above and was considering making a thread about this.  I certainly do not approve of vouching for yourself, or giving what may be a fake no-collateral loans, but was somewhat on the fence about opening this thread, mostly because I have no way to efficiently go though the old security logs to check for evidence that 2double0 changed hands. However.....

The most damming part of the loan to 2double0 is the blockchain activity immidiately prior to hacker1001101001 making the loan. 2double0 asked for the loan to be funded to 1J4YGjWGyWSQ1U8VCTUeXn3XqMxiUhheZ7 and hacker1001101001 funded the loan via txid 9e25bbb34f3c4504f3275c93502afe82efec15ecd04581b1d9f9f19dfc48aa6b, whose inputs are from 1JAYESHqohMYvXS4Do6ZNEYJiwZ588MVKi -- this transaction was confirmed in block 564462, which also confirmed a withdrawal from huobi in the amount of 0.0502 (enough for the loan plus a small amount for the tx fee), but the strange thing is that 8 blocks prior to hacker1001101001 receiving the withdrawal from huobi, he received 0.00001 BTC from 1J4YGjWGyWSQ1U8VCTUeXn3XqMxiUhheZ7 the address 2double0 asked the loan to be funded to. This might be circumstantial evidence that hacker1001101001 may be the same person as 2double0.

PS - the loan thread was immidiately locked after receiving the loan, which is a practice that I very much dislike, despite its stated goal of eliminating useless posts by those with paid signatures.

@QS i think hacker was also joking as Little Mouse was with RapTarX
In any case, you defending Little Mouse seems strange to me.

And again your last post was on October 2nd and you defending Little Mouse (I think your alt) is the first post you make.
In any case, my belief is Little Mouse will not accept anything, he'll lose his management job as a result so there's a lot on stake for him.

Nope, never.

I started with Dice on a popular website but stopped a few years back and a few months back I was doing Sports betting but that's also stopped.
I remember I used a free bet on the lottery on a website but never actually on an exchange.

Also, have you seen ApeSwap, Last time I checked they introduced something similar to lottery.
