You're right, presently the price of bitcoin continue to rise passing the $900 level. Many predicts that the acceleration will continue next year and might break the $1K level. It better to hold the bitcoin for some more weeks before cashing it out. But we must always on the guard for possible price correction.

Ethereum price is slowly inching up but still struggling from $5 to $7.  Bitcoin is on uptrend near $800 level. This indicate that ethereum is lagging far away from bitcoin.

The price of bitcoin is nearing $800 as it fluctuates around $780 and there is only few days left before Christmas. If this uptrend continues, it will pass the $800 level and will be near at $900 before yearend.

Gambling is like falling into a  deep quicksand, the more you are trying to get out, the more you are sucked and might stuck there until all your strength are gone. Winnings might be use again in betting unless you have self-control.

That depend on the factors may arise in the early part of 2017. If that factors are favorable to bitcoin then its price may rise to a new high of $1000 to even $2000 level.
