My view on this.

The auferings abroad are "declared" in the J paper from the IRS.

It has a part for work -A, Pensions H, Independent work , B, Capitals, E and "incrementos patrimoniais" G.

Under G - incrementos patrimoniais de IRS code states:

Artigo 9.º
Rendimentos da categoria G


1 - Constituem incrementos patrimoniais, desde que não considerados rendimentos de outras categorias:

a) As mais-valias, tal como definidas no artigo seguinte;

b) As indemnizações que visem a reparação de danos não patrimoniais, exceptuadas as fixadas por decisão judicial ou arbitral ou resultantes de acordo homologado judicialmente, de danos emergentes não comprovados e de lucros cessantes, considerando-se neste último caso como tais apenas as que se destinem a ressarcir os benefícios líquidos deixados de obter em consequência da lesão; (Redacção da Lei n.º 67-A/2007, de 31/12)

Here I want to refer to line a) mais valias. and line d) rendimentos não justificados.

So i tend to agree with whom stated above that at least we would have na unpleasent jorney in court as a finantial gain from cryptotrading is a "mais-valia" and could fall in the bag d) unjustified earnings.
Of course for this there would have to be na investigation and the eagerness from the IRS to prossecute.

So what i would say is 2take care of your capital" and don´t trust the IRS:)

Overall marketing is good. But unless you can keep it up it could backfire by raising expectations to much. In crypto one or two days withoput news can cause massive FUD:) Impatient folks around here:)

BTC at 10k at this point would be good as a re-entry in BTC itself. But i don´t think it woyuld have a very positive impact in alts like KOMODO. The panic would be huge and people would runaway to fiat.

10K was a number that gave a lot of attention to BTC from the everyday guy. The huge quantity of people jumping in is unbelievable. People trash talking BTC one day are downloading coinbase and try it for 100 or 200 USD. Lot´s of people going in to platforms like E-toro, don´t even knowing if they are buying coins or financial products. Lots of traditional investors pushed in for the awareness that the futures market and platforms like bloomberg are giving BTC. So people are coming from everywhere with bigger or smaller amounts. And the price drives like crazy. Now we are on the verge of 20k and futures entering tomorrow. Interesting week ahead.

You should keep the backup password or whatever method depending on wich 2FA you are using.

If you don´t have it (it happened to me) :

1- You will sweat a lot.
2- I had 2FA on several exchanges.
3- ALmost all asked for high levels of identity verification
4- Some, especially one of them  asked for transaction history with addresses, dates and amounts.

In the end all went good i had 2FA disabled in all services and then r-enabled it again.

Plus one. I don´t really remember when but sometime around this year i doubled my stack. Now i wish i had quadruple it!

They don´t offer the same. One key difference is Monero is anonymous and private by default while the privacy in Dash and Zcash is optional. I believe this can be subtle but is a key diference making Monero superior on that end.

The real price change might come with the launch of the Static Nodes. It will drop drastically the available coins and at the same time it will show a working product and increase interest and awareness for the project.

But even with this circus the thing doesn´t drop to my position:) please breed 2 or 3 more kitties:)

bounty payments have been identified as one of the causes for price drops after ico´s. From what i´ve learned the bounty here is being payed over the course of 9mo plus 2 weeks. So this might have a lesser impact on the coin price.

I´m cleaning up the house. And Golem will be a keeper so i´ll just keep a closer look to this thread:)
