301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wrong move dumping Bitcoin Gold on: October 24, 2017, 09:34:51 PM
Bitcoin Gold have much potential compare to many altcoins in the market that you didnt know what the use. Bitcoin Gold is easier to mine using just CPU and mobile phones, Bitcoin Gold is Next to Bitcoin and last is that Bitcoin Gold is much have reputation compare to any altcoins releasing in the market.

BTC is another junk fork. Forks should be used either as a Software upgrade where you keep only one side of the fork, and the other is destroyed or if you really have a good alternative. We are always shouting about how fiat is printed undefinitely but on the other hand we feel normal that BTC is creating new money. If this shit keeps up at this rate it could eventually damage BTC.
302  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Money is a Bubble on: October 24, 2017, 09:31:53 PM
Since many people try to convince us that Bitcoin is a bubble and how we will lose our money eventually, I wonder if money is not a bubble actually. There exist economies in which money has a positive value in spite its market fundamental is zero. That means fiat money has zero value. Fiat money is a social contrivance. We take money from other people because we know other people will take it from us. In theory and practice the fiat money is a bubble.
Everything is a bubble or a ponzi scheme if we want to take it literally. Consider the banking system. itīs a gigantic world wide ponzi where the growing economies borrow and pay interest to te better established economies. And it relies on contiuous growth. When growth is alted there is a major retraction, banks bankrupting and governments printing adicional money to sustain it. The question is...How long can it endure? indefinitelly or will it burst exposing the bubble?

I'm kinda curious now with the banks to be involved with bitcoin. So you mean that's a real role of banking system? The way you save your money through banks and it is a kind of borrowing? I'm not really into banking but that's really not clear to me. Actually,I tried saving to a bank for a month but I didn't borrow because obviously it was my savings. With regards to fiat money as a bubble, yes it is bit mind you eventhough it is a bubble but it gives us profit and that's worth it.
In my part of the world banks strive on fees and mostly on lending. Its not the savings that support the business. Its a rule that banks must have a certain % of the money we put in available...like 10 or 15%. that is scary. And that system is fed through central banks with the lendings to developing countries with bigger economic growths.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to make $100,000 in altcoin on: October 23, 2017, 10:00:37 PM
Before making a million that is  Cheesy

So it's simple really. If I buy for example $1,000 of a coin at $0.01 I will get 100,000 coins which I can sell at $1.00 making me $100,000  Cool

OR

I can buy $1,000 of a coin at $0.10 I will get 10,000 coins which I can sell at $10 making me $100,000  Cool

You see, it's simple  Cheesy

So, which coin I buy?  Cheesy
As I write everywhere, investing in coins should be considered for a few crypto because of the minimization of losses and the increase in earnings. For this moment I recommend waves and eth.
PRomising coins with low marketcap. But i would mix in some established coins with higher cap to reduce risk. If you are going all in, try 500.000 XBY. It will pump hard plus you get a node to pay you some money back. Look at some dividend tokens like taas. If they keep delivering the price will go crazy.

305  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Burning of Money on: October 23, 2017, 03:29:24 PM
many Economists in CNBC say bitcoin is burning money and they talk about many reason which not understand  it

So what do you think about tha

Ask yourself this, when were the pundits on CNBC right about anything important? The dot com bubble? The 2008 housing crisis? Enron? Nope, nope, nope. Ignore them, you will improve your health.

This is exactly my thoughts. Around the world the same economists experts that didnīt see the Dot.com, the housing crises, that would advise clientes to go with MADDOF, that endorsed Goldman sachs while they were hidding many countries public debts and so on are the same ones who still advising on TV. this time against BTC. They can be right or wrong, we donīt know , all we know is that they are very incompetente:)
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW XBY ANN] XTRABYTES - OFFICIAL WEBSITE and WHITEPAPER RELEASED on: October 23, 2017, 01:52:15 PM
i am willing to buy 500k to 1mil xby @415 sats. pm me for an offer.

Scammers doesnīt even bother to try hard enough. Just shot a fórum message and wait for someone to take the baite.

If it is not the case , along with that message you should state ahead why you want to buy it here nstead of going to the Exchange. Might help bringing some light to the matter.

Otherwise extreme caution in these types of deals is advisable.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone buying all these new shitcoins is killing the altcoin market. on: October 23, 2017, 01:47:01 PM
You guys are just diluting the market by investing in shitcoins ( making small groups of people crypto rich) when we should be focused on growing the real crypto's like eth, etc, ltc, nem dash, xmr. Stop buying the ICO hype and start getting back in to the real coins.

everybody wants to issue there own token for their own project. Now itīs up to the market to mature and adjust when this projects reach real use cases. Then we will see if we want to see Dex where we can swap between tokens almost instantly or if we will prefer to use a service that uses one of the strong cryptos, whatever that strong crypto is in the future.
308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term BTC Investment Is No More on: October 23, 2017, 01:21:39 PM
With bitcoin value increasing to new heights every day or week, is long term investment of bitcoin in alts no more? Because with the increase of value in bitcoin, all alts suffer and their value in bitcoin decreases even if they are stable enough to keep their value in dollar sustained.

So all one can earn from such long term trade is a loss in bitcoin.

So, is short term trading alts the only option or even that is too risky for now and holding could be the only option.

And for buying alts, one should use dollar instead of bitcoin.

I really think there are two diferente angles to look at this. One is pure profit in FIAT. I think the market is hard to beat and it will not be easy to gain more with alts speculation than you do in BTC. Another angle is the technology and market of alt coins and tokens projects. We donīt know wich ones or even if there is any already born but some blockchain projects will be huge. So diversifying and holding participations in such projects will be very good in the future.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Why economists say Bitcoin a bubble on: October 23, 2017, 10:50:33 AM
Maybe the same guys that advised investment on MADDOF garbage. Or made clients put money in greek Debt before default? MAybe we are all wrong here, MAYBE, but the famous economists have proved themselfs very wrong already in detecting bubbles. The Technology , blockchain is only and nothing more than the future. If BTC will burst one day and be considered a bubble? probably, but not righ now. BTC is only adopted by a few and will grow more before / if butsting.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin regaining dominance. on: October 22, 2017, 06:47:27 PM
Apart from reaching a new ATH, bitcoin is also regaining dominance vs other alts. It was halved between March and June and bitcoin has been slowly regaining it but lately seems to have received a boost.

Source: (https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage)

Any ideas about why this is happening?

REGAINING? it would mean that it ever lost it. It didnīt there was a crazy alt coin bubble and  crazier ICO bubble. Those are stabilizing with lots of money being back in BTC . To add to this is the new money that keeps coming for more conservative financial areas. that can only lead to BTC growing. Now iīm waiting for the next big correction with a dip of 2 or 3k to stack up. Till then is keep trading and working hard.

312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you planning till November Harfork?? on: October 20, 2017, 08:58:42 PM
The less risk decision e is hold, get the forked coin and get your profit on that. If you feel more up to the risk, sell before the fork and hope for the dip...
Im really not good at selling high anr rebuying, but i made some profit. But its nerve recking
313  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: October 20, 2017, 08:41:03 PM
Hey everyone Smiley

finally the price of bitcoins is increasing and was becoming more stable but ! Its price is again decreasing now... You know it will be very nice if you guys instead of dumping them hold on to them...
Dumping the bitcoins in panic because of the fear of the price never reaching this high value in future.. does affects the price of bitcoins in a very bad way!
Yes some people get profit form it but!!!it decrease your future chances of earning even more higher profit... And so does for everyone else...

Many people entering BTC at this highs is coming from traditional money. With a good percentual increase, even for 5 or 10% and some FUD the panic will begin. People are used to 1 or 2 % profit on stocks. If they have 10 and a bad news. Panic it is, and down we go. And that means a buy order on my side.

315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies? on: October 20, 2017, 07:31:16 PM
Have you heard of Buy low sell high? do it.....

More seriously...

1. Cryptocurrencies are real money. real money doesnīt fall out of the sky. So you can only get it working for it, or investing and taking dividends on your investments.

2. Investing. Long term or trade. Take your time to learn or you will loose.

3. Runaway from scams. Think FIAT at the beginning. Someone is offering double coins in 24 hours. Think double dollars in 24 hours? must be a lie...So it is in crypto.

4. Read, take your time around the forum and on exchanges before spending your money

5. HAVE FUN
316  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: October 20, 2017, 07:27:13 PM
I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.

I believe you are very right. but when you said... keep stacking at the dips... you are implying there are dips. dips are made of panic sellers. they are a big part of the game. and important part IMO. the only problem is those guys who goes balls dip at the top and loose everything in the panic sell...i canīt stop pitying them.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be Taxed...... on: October 19, 2017, 10:34:46 PM
Itīs difficult to look beyond the profit taking in crypto and moreso to look at BTC as something different from what we had. BTC gained itīs first popularity because itīs a disruptive, decentralized new currency. As it becomes more controled and taxed what why wish is for the tech to evolve and something can become BTC 2.0 to continue the revolution.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: China's influence on bitcoin is becoming insignificant. on: October 19, 2017, 08:22:38 PM
Chinese government has been making moves to control the influence of bitcoin on its economy but bitcoin keep rearing on international market. I think the decentralized system of bitcoin make it impossible  for any government to binned its activities. We should also know that the fake news site are just promoting lie in other to create panic in other for amateurs traders to sell at lose and blame China regulatory agency for their woo.
The chinese canīt control BTC, and i donīt believe they want to. They control a significant part of the hash power and the GOVERNMENT (people running the country) just found a way to get a piece of the pie without doing shit for it. Just told the exchanges, do you want to close or do you want to pay? basically thats it.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin for beginners to start trading? on: October 19, 2017, 07:36:28 PM
For a newbie the best is hold the majority of BTC, and if you want to trade start with a very small % . The probability to loose is high so i would advice to set a TARGET. Ready and see where you believe to see BTC in a while. If for any FUD BTC drops 1000$ itīs not hard for you to panic sell. It happens every day. So set your entry poit and imagine where you see BTC in a while. Then play a while but donīt sell it at a loss. HOLD

If it just for fun you can just buy a very cheap coin but with some volume /trade so you feel you have more quantity to play around. And just go ahead. With cents or feww dollars one can play and get to know the exchanges.
320  Economy / Economics / Re: BITCOIN misconceptions on: October 19, 2017, 07:10:40 PM
I came across several threads on the forums about bitcoin as their source of income, people leaving their day jobs just to focus on campaigns here in the forum.

Why most of the people in the forum sees bitcoin as currency that you need to spend everyday? On my opinion at this point of time for bitcoin it is better to consider it as an asset, an investment that if you keep it there is a big chance that your investment will grow. Think of its future potential, at this time each coin cost $5600+ when maybe about 100 million people who is using it. imagine what will the price be if 1 billion people uses it in the future how much will the price be? And this also applies to alt coins. As much as possible keep you coins and wait for the price to boom.

I wrote this before and i agree with you. Donīt know if for the same reasons, but in the end i donīt forsee BTC as a currency but i believe in it as a store of value asset. It has some drawbacks as a currency, that would make it a good asset.
 - Slow and expensive transations: bad for a currency, but not that relevant when storing value.
 - Scarcity: Will encourage volatility and price growth. Not good for a currency, very good to store value.
 - Privacy and fungibility (Lack of): Definitely very bad for a currency not that bad to store value if it comes from legit sources.

The list could continue.
