According to the above the mem# is total for all threads. I did try 2 and same thing...
There are no errorcodes. Crashes immediately. I even tried to > log.txt and it was empty.
Yes. What does it say under "view problem details"?

Hey, if these are X and Y = Key... can't you derive X and Y from the key and just store the keys? Or do you actually need one of either X or Y? (just thinking out loud here...)

Did you try m=1024? That parameter is per-thread, believe me, I have used it. Yes.

Are you just looking to reduce storage space? Why not apply the same algorithm to all 4 values?

I'm crashing with no errorcode right from the getgo on the XEON E5-2620 which is Sandy Bridge supposedly. I have 8 GB of RAM avail. OS is Server 2008 R2.
threads = 1 mining-params = mmc:av=1&aesni=on&m=2048 mine = getwork://MEUKuddxchGRtPxJyTTd2dLcCrKTmCh5FW@work.mmcpool.com:80:8880:8881:8882:8883/mmc mine = getwork://MEUKuddxchGRtPxJyTTd2dLcCrKTmCh5FW@mmcpool.1gh.com:8080:8081:8082:8083/mmc mine = getwork://yvg1900.mmc_1:x@mmc.gpools.com:8080/mmc #proxy = socks4a://127.0.0.1:9150 compact-stats = 0 print-timestamps = 1
I tried diff num of threads, mem, and aesni=off
?? lol
I don't have to register with the pool, correct?

Never keep any significant amount online. Soon as you have a balance, grab them.

Hey Guys, I'd like to jump into this coin because I'm renting a server for another purpose already. I also have a used XEON on the way that I bought.
What is the ideal mining program to use for a XEON E5-2560 2 GHZ, with 8GB RAM & Server 2008 R2 OS?
thanks much
Hi, I've created a thread with info. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=439874The ideal miner 99.9% of the time is Yam (current version: M7k) Follow the instructions on option 2 to get it working. Thanks homey!

What do you guys think about buying used Xeons versus renting servers?
Had a xeon running for two weeks, found no blocks at current diff. but you can still pool mine, right?

Don't know. Never used anything but the usual qt wallet.
Is a software or hardware wallet?

Question for the mathmaticians: can you somehow take advantage of taking the ellipitical curve from 2D to 3D, either along the vertical or X axis? Seems like there could be some voodoo you could do with a corresponding point on the opposite side kind of thing. :-D

Anyone here had any luck bruteforcing a Dogecoin wallet? Sure could use some help in that category. Willing to do some tipping as well for any help!
If you have any memory of the key you used, just use the program above.
