You're completely missing the point. The 'solution' 'solves' the 'problem' of cryptographic failure. If the cryptography fails in a cryptographic currency, it's game over.
hmm. you can't derive the private key, with the public key, and/or transactions. thats why its called public-key cryptography. go read up on it. you seems not to have, missed a central point of it.

(Because it removes the ability to consolidate multiple withdrawals into a single transaction.)
no it does not. A1, A2, A3 -> B -> C1, C2, C3 it only means one extra transaction. The problem it solves does not actually exist. It's entirely imagined.
no, some people do not want to wait for transactions to comfirm, an want thier money secure fast. if i trust mtgox not to double spend, it can be you as a trusted party, i don't need to thrust my customers, only mtgox, and only for a short period of time. the problem is not imagined.

I think the A->B->C transactions within a single block is an interesting thought and practical experiment, but it seems to be a sub-optimal solution to a non-extant problem.
why? its not sub-optimal... please explain. both transactions in the same block is completely valid. its actually a beautiful solution, to a rather complex problem. if you trust mtgox, and their green address, you can comfirm the tx without it being included in a block.

(I don't understand the hating on Steve Jobs though...Ritchie was little known outside of computer science circles...it's not surprising he wouldn't get as much attention)
its because he was much more important then jobs. and then just forgotten, people don't cry about that he is dead. im not surprised either, i just don't like the fanboinism.

There is a claim that Botnets aren't that big of a threat (e.g. on Tenebrix FAQ). I don't know if it's true or not, time will tell. its a lie. botnets are a big thread to these networks.

0.0001 then i will abandon bitcoin You will abandon it to me. I'll be buying every coin for my collection. How sweet would a full set be? fine fine, but its never going down there and even if it does, i may not sell i would only have 0.0036 USD for it, i would just stop caring for it.

sorry you guys, but i don't trust you...
its a nice and shiney website you got, but i don't trust you.
Kokjo, Respect your opinion, and hope we can change it someday! - Keyur move to europe or japan. and maybe i will trust you. It is the U.S. government that cannot be trusted. Of course, when gunmen come to your door and stick their guns in your face, what do you do? And what makes you think you are immune to that in EU and Japan? They have guns too. EU does not have guns. its the member countrys, who have them. and we are way more decentralized here, EU does not have a president, that rule over its member coountrys.

paypal will fuck you, if he reports you for selling/buying bitcoin, with paypal. thats the only risk i can see.
but be sure that he pays first. do NOT thrust him in anyway. eg. "he is at work right now, he will send them to you when he comes home, but he is asking you to pay him now." don't!
