Is that for real?

When a bid wall is getting eaten, it looks like old-school NES graphics when you are shooting up an enemy.

I am still confused.  From the comments in that reddit thread, I understood that there is not a single bit of new news about MtGOX: they did not start testing, they did not resume withdrawals, there have been no reports from them or anything.  Did I understand it wrong?
No. A bunch of whales just decided to take the risk and buy up.

I didn't panic sell, but I sold in order to get more btc. I had set a buy at $100 but Gox canceled it, leaving my buy at $91.5. Gox hit $95 just before bouncing to $260. Now I am left with 1/3 of my coins. A lot of my orders get canceled on Gox for some reason.

The recent price rise at Gox just screwed me majorly.

Where do you think are we going next hours? do you think we are going to break 530 (bitstamp) next time we hit?

My opinion is that 530 is going to hold, but it will get tested several times. After that, there will be nowhere to go but up.
You also thought that "$900 were the cheap coins". :0

Whoever runs bitcoinwisdom... can they not make a back-up site?

Someone killed Bitcoinwisdom again.

If we consider April bubble and the latest bubble to be one giant bubble, it fits the anatomy of a mania chart exactly.

Can Gox really go that much lower? What is the advantage of selling your coins on Gox anyway? If they are bankrupt, you aren't getting bitcoin or dollars back.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 20, 2014, 05:52:11 PM
why is anyone still using GOX?  Just remove the coins and cash and let it crumble.  There is no need for a junk exchange run by a mangina to fuck bitcoin out of existence.  Everyone withdraw everything, DON'T put anything back in and tell Mark to fuck off!
You can't remove anything.

If there even a point of selling BTC on gox? Its not like you can withdraw, right?

He claims to have connections who know some info on Gox. I am assuming from the context that he is talking about the government coming in or something. Telling people to delete their accounts - I presume because individuals may be held accountable for potential money laundering or connection with Silk Road.

That makes no sense, if the police seizes MtGOX computers they will find out who HAD an account as easily as who HAS an account.
greater question is why just any customer would be targeted.

Berwick is suggesting that anyone with an account on Gox is going to be investigated or something.

Who is Berwick?
Jeff Berwick.

Who is Jeff Berwick?
From the Dollar Vigilante and Anarchast. The dude is some internet tech millionaire.

What does he have to do with Gox? Or investigations?

Why doesn't Mark just use some of his own bitcoin stash? Wasn't he an early adopter? He probably has at least 10,000 BTC, if not more.
