1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: July 09, 2017, 08:04:22 PM
Spending money that is not already allocated for something important. Sometimes when I lost big I get mad and went on to withdraw more funds to take that lost. Most of the time I always went losing bigger and bigger. Right now I think I am able to discipline myself better than before.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: July 08, 2017, 06:59:48 PM
I really would like a comment by the Stellar team about their mistake in listing Polo as an entity which would distribute lumens to their BTC holders. I have left some BTCs on Polo because of that and got no lumens.

Me too I want to hear an official statement from them. Still the main blame is on poloniex for their very late reaction which sounds very disrespectful and no concern on their clients.

Becareful with your wallet, never donwload wallet from one of cheap and free bounty in marketplace. I suspect one of the bounty bring malware.

I suggest back up your asset or sent to secure exchanger or turn to bitcoin and withdraw to your bank account before your loose all your digital asset.

I heard it too. Sad that qiwoman2 losing thousands of dollars. I think it was a phishing site or her unit infected with a malware. Even hard wallets can be stolen too. So only way is to use 2fa which is used on trading sites like poloniex and bittrex.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 07, 2017, 08:55:43 PM

I already experienced being so stupid and was taken away by my emotions and ended up losing most of the time it happens. Right now I am making myself busy with so many things so I only bet or visits casinos casually. And I usually put a time limit and a limited budget.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar on: July 07, 2017, 05:00:58 PM
nope bro , it will'nt all claimed , stellar has clever strategy to list poloniex where biggest exchanger mean big amount bitcoin was stored there on their Participating exchanges list to fool some more bitcoin holder to put their bitcoin there , so they cant claim lumens that they want , so maybe 16 billion will not fully claimed.

nice one stellar

I don't think it is stellar's fault. Stellar and polo most probably talked about the upcoming distribution and the latter maybe give a go signal hence the former listing it on their site as with some other few exchanges too. Polo denied it the day the screen shot was made already. Polo have like 4 months to rescind stellar's post.

Vitalik Buterin is one of the youngest billionaires right?
1367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: June 29, 2017, 07:28:01 PM
So far I only trade at one exchange that is Poloniex. But I am thinking of putting some funds in bittrex also as Polo has very limited number of coins and at bittrex many smaller coins are present, which have potential to give bigger returns on investments. So maybe, when I have enough balance, I will put some into bittrex too.
Are you trading only one coin at a time ? If it is the case then you may have account in one or two exchanges and based on your capital amount you may move into new exchange. When you will be finding poloniex is having very selective trading pairs, I am sure you might be needing accounts in some more exchanges.

The prime reason for me to have accounts in more than 8 exchanges is, lack of availability of one particular altcoin in one exchange.

Right. Some people just trade in poloniex due to highest volume. But I think of the best things that may happen outside poloniex are the new hot coins that have the tendency to rise in value not just 100% but sometimes at unbelievable levels.
1368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you keeping your crypto records? on: June 26, 2017, 09:29:48 AM
When I was new to crypto I did became careless and being less knowledgeable didn't help. Lost some few coins because I didn't kept back up files. Not much but maybe around 0.2 btc all in all. Now I am tracking all my crypto with records and lots of back up files. Tt's very good to see some of these coins you think are shits but at now at material value already.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: June 26, 2017, 07:45:56 AM
I saw someone in Facebook promoting prelaunch of a coin named Dagcoin. He said it is the sister coin of Byteball. Anyone can confirm this? I think it's a hoax and is only using Byteball for hype.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Holding On To Your Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2017, 07:10:45 PM
Because buying alts is so addicting to me I locked some btc by letting a rl friend to hold it with a deal that I am also earning 10% montly. Don't get me wrong, that friend is a whale so that 10% for him is fine as I am also confident I can earn in trade more than 10% a month. Some I invested on reliable crypto casino. But currently my shitcoins are giving me the best gains.
1371  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: June 25, 2017, 06:34:00 PM
Both. Just do it both. But if you are too busy to monitor news and charts then better do investing or at least trading with a bit long term target price.
1372  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: June 25, 2017, 06:01:52 AM
Bitcoin is down now so this might be a good way to buy. Actually the best thing in crypto is still to diversify your portfolio. Let's say bitcoin plus some other alts you think have good potential.
1373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: June 25, 2017, 05:19:30 AM
What the price was for the ICO?

I think price kept changing during that three days crowdsale due to changing rate of ethereum. It should be around 3k satoshi. PTOY is a good investment so it is better to just hold it.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: WINGS ★ Where DAO Unicorns Are Born! ★ Token launched! on: June 24, 2017, 08:34:28 PM
One of the next ICO using WINGS will be Adex Network - 2% using WINGS Bounty App http://bounty.adex.network and 2% for forecasting & promotion more details at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1965467.msg19540248#msg19540248

hello when we will get  the reward from bancor and how is going on with the platform Smiley... news? cheers

So anyone who joined the prediction no matter how far out it is can still get rewards? My friend is promoting this Wings prediction to me and most of our circle that involves in crypto.

in the bancor forecasting people will have their costs covered, however in future forecasts if you are dead wrong you will get close to nada and will just use up Eth.

platform is designed to reward people for being right, not wrong.
Meaning in every forecasting that will happen in the future there is a big chance that you will lose money rather than earn something. lets say your 70% accurate in predicting the outcome will you receive any participation pay or not.

70% accurate is pretty close in my opinion. I would assume you would make out with type of prediction.

He stated 'Dead Wrong'    -    <10% accuracy is what I'm thinking

.... And when is this Adex Forecast going to start?  The wings.ai website is still on the bancor ICO

What about the Wings being locked during the prediction period? Does the reward depends on how many Wings you have?

I think Coindash in next then Adex? This is getting exciting. Coindash won this year's European Blockchain Summit? And Adex got heavy backing from Stremio and Jihan Wu.
1375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: June 24, 2017, 05:52:50 PM
Bitcoin won't die anytime soon, at least not in the time span of next few decades.

...and when it'll die, it would be replaced by some revolutionary crypto-currency. That may be Ethereum though.

Not that Bitcoin will die but lost much of its value if problems always arise and no development being done. I won't be surprised if some of these crypto or a new one replaces Bitcoin at top. Once again Ethereum proves that it is not really the perfect network that can be the ultimate crypto of the mainstream. We will see how the powerful Ethereum upgrades its system.

1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 23, 2017, 01:37:16 PM
banks are not using xrp and xrp is overvalued ..........

if banks were to never touch XRP, XRP would still survive. why?

- you need to use xrp to transact on the RCL (as an anti-spam measure).
- ripple has enabled cross border payments and the ability to trade/send different currencies (ie. XRP:ETH, etc), on the RCL / ILP.
- ripple is gaining more mainstream adoption regardless. see photo below:

i believe banks will adopt XRP to some degree. why? because a business is all about making $. if banks are able to make more money by saving money on operational costs, they will go that route. it's not rocket science...

Cool. I think banks are very interested on Ripple's technology and the blockchain system but as we know banks are creepy and want to control as much as possible. In the future after having good experiences using crypto technology they will be developing their won. But fuck them. That time Ripple will be very big and influential already.
1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legalization in India....incoming price inflation! on: June 23, 2017, 09:20:18 AM

This news made bitcoin rally for around $200. And then another good news coming in few days this time in Australia. I think we can see segwit coming ahead.
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao VS Horn (Boxing) on: June 22, 2017, 06:24:56 PM
Pacquiao should win an easy unanimous decision on this fight. This is a mismatch and this is just all about money. Pac is old though so his team will try to handpick easy opponents. Pac is no longer the same. He is old and his newfound faith lessened his ferocity.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: June 22, 2017, 05:32:19 PM
so, are the devs actuallly doing any coding on this?
are there partners developing apps on this?
Why is this the only big currency that is going the wrong way with price?

As I observed NEM is the only crypto in the top without much marketing. Although many believers that NEM have the best technology in crypto. NEM will be announcing its update on Catapult soonish.
