281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: July 15, 2019, 02:41:44 PM
I am also using Latoken from last three-four months and never face any problem. I also applied 2fa on my account to secure my account from an online attack.
I've used Latoken in the past and speaking of 2fa I seriously had a problem with it when I entered the good code but it still doesn't let me logging in.I contacted support and followed all the instructions they gave still didn't work.I asked to reset my 2fa and from there things started to get coplicated.. They didn't keep on updating me and started slowing down the support until it has been 2 weeks with no access to my funds but once they did a maintenance I was able to log in with the same 2fa with no problems so the porblem solved by itself. But I still recommend you to be careful when using not very known exchanegs like LaToken, don't put a lot of money in there.

282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaigns deceiving hunters by changing rules? Read this! on: July 14, 2019, 10:49:07 PM
But campaign manager have the rights to change the campaign rules at any time and also they state that on their bounty threads so you won't get kuch support from the DT members when you didn't ready to accept the rule.
I don't think a flag can be used in the case of these bounty campaigns, Most of the bounty campaigns have always stated in their rules that they reserve the right to amend the bounty rules as they find appropriate or beneficial to the project without prior information.
You are both wrong... DT members know that it's unfair and very shady look at the support we got from them concerning TerraGreen KYC-Scam: Flag. Now that TerraGreen account is flagged, look at this beautiful red message that is displayed in their ANN thread: ANN

This practice should stop they are riping off people who worked hard and put their time and effort and the community is here to help, the case I provided above must serve as an example,if we continue this way we can prevent this from happening again.

283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is KuCoin Becoming the Best Exchange for Trading? on: July 14, 2019, 04:40:34 PM
After I get the boot from Binance (as a US trader) I will probably turn to Kucoin. It has better liquidity than Bittrex, Poloniex, and others. Decent enough interface. Still offers unverified accounts to US traders with the same withdrawal limits as Binance......not sure how long that'll last though!

Binance cuts us off in two months. I think Kucoin will get a bump in volume at that time.
I wonder why nowadays most exchanges and ICO are now excluding US residents from using their services or investing..? They are losing a huge user base and of course money I've heard it's because of regulations but I couldn't find any clear information about it

Edit: Just found out that 15% of Binance clients are from USA!

As of Kucoin, I would say it's decent but how they manage their own token KCS is nowhere close to how Binance manages BNB; Binance coin has strong utitily and it's tokenomic is very well handled by Binance unlike Kucoin.

284  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: July 14, 2019, 03:52:03 PM
I'd say, link to this one and report back once the flag is created. You got my support.

Flag created: Flag
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TerraGreen – Blockchain Based Renewable Energy Platform on: July 14, 2019, 03:34:14 PM
Please Do not spread this type of things. We are doing our best to make project successfull.
Participants have also understand situations of projects. We dont intend to hurt any participants.
bounty participants should submit KYC. If they dont want to submit KYC than He/She might have done any wrong thing to get extra coins. They can do many things to cheat projects.
We will get almost most of the KYC from all participants and they dont have any problem. there is possibility that participants who are not ready have done some wrong things to projects.

See we have also consulted experts and advisors very well and than we took decesion regarding KYC for bounty.

This doesn't exclude the fact that YOU advertised on your bounty thread in the beginning that there absolutely no KYC needed and now that bounty hunters put a lot of efforts to promote your project you decided to ask for KYC?This is unacceptable because I'm sure if you said that KYC was needed from the beginning I'm sure a lot of participants wouldn't have even participated, you must understand that not everyone is ready to hand out their personal information for your damn tokens. Seriously though, this behavior stains and tarnish the reputation of your project big time.

Edit:

reserve
Great News for our supporters.
1. NO KYC ANYMORE
After the Campaign has ended, the team will distribute the entire award among all campaign participants in the 60th day after the last date of sale. There is no need to pass KYC procedure to get your reward!
It was clearly said god dammit...
286  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: July 14, 2019, 02:33:29 PM
For reference I'm posting proofs that I have participated in TerraGreen campaign.

Quoted from my personal messages (giving permission to transfer stakes to tokpie)

I grant to the TOKPIE platform the full power to receive TGN coins in return for the 50% stakes, which I have earned up today in the TerraGreen Bounty Signature Campaign(ROUND 3) in exchange for the same amount of "TGN_Stake_R3_Signature" digital title.

Hello!
To proceed with your request please apply this code
JHKEHR9
here: https://tokpie.com/dashboard/support/

https://ibb.co/8DqxhK5
https://ibb.co/W52B0HZ

Taken from here: TerraGreen R3 Spreadsheet

If you have participated in it, and have to pass KYC now (which everyone has to do), you are allowed to create a flag type 3 (violated written contract) against them.
One little question, should I create another topic myself describing the issue or should I just link this one to the flag?
287  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: July 14, 2019, 12:52:09 PM
I have participated in their signature campaign 1 or 2 weeks and I choose to transfer 50% to tokpie so I can convert them to ETH.Now I can't find the way to sell them anymore and impossible to get the tokens without passing KYC.This is a total rip-off, if anyone makes a flag I'll definitely support it. (Or I should be the one who makes it?)

Definitely.  I'm not a bounty hunter, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be paid in some shitty token that'll be worthless within weeks.  That's another thing that surprises me about bounty hunters.

I certainly understand your point of view and I agree with you in some points , but unfortunately not all bounty hunters have the chance to get a place in a bounty campaign that pays BTC or a genuine coin.

However, i'd still like to hear the opinion from others regarding this topic.
Same here, if there's another confirmation of an user on DT1 I would ask the KYC-scammed user to create a flag from his alt.
I can do it as I don't care about being disqualified at this point... But I'd like to hear some more DT opinions first like you both said.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin staking and trading, which is more profitable? on: July 14, 2019, 11:34:59 AM
It depends. If you have trading skills and know that you can profit from it, then trading is probably better for you,let me explain my self.

I know that in staking, you only earn no matter the condition of the market.
That's not true, a lot of stake-able/masternode coins turned scam and lost their integral value which lead to a lot of money to be lost by investors so staking also comes with risk no matter what. However, there is some solid very known coins that you can stake like Stellar or Dash (masternode) but the profit is little but more safe than new coins with bigger profit. Also if you are going with masternodes, some of them are extremely expencive like Dash masternode costs around 12 BTC with a 6% annual profit at time of writting. That brings to conclusion that both Trading And Staking comes with risk so whatever you do don't invest more than you can afford lose.

Disclaimer:I'm not responsible for your investments, my post is only for discussion purpose and not an investment advice as I'm not a professional investment advisor.Invest at your own risk.
289  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-07-12] Japanese Exchange Hacked for $32 Million in Cryptocurrency on: July 13, 2019, 01:34:03 PM
Problem for crypto exchanges is in fact that most of them keep too much coins in hot wallets, and that is invitation for hackers.
There were many exchanges that had not only the hot wallets hacked but also the cold wallets, only Binance cold wallets resisted the hacks I believe.
I suspect some , if not many of the hacks were inside jobs
If an exchange cares about security inside jobs shouldn't even be possible, they should be the first secuirty measure to implement before caring about external hackers..
When I was a little girl I was told repeatedly that Asians were all competent and efficient and stuff yet Japan and Korea have become the world capital of hacks.
I don't think we should blame the people that are working in these exchanges. Cryptocurrency is relatively new  and exchanges are a big target because they are not as secure as banks it's very hard to maintain security in this environment.
290  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: The Ultimate RPG Faucet Experience - Instant Cashout - Fully Animated Action on: July 13, 2019, 01:13:44 PM
The concept is very good, very smooth to play and quite fun.The only downsides I see is that sometimes a horde of mobs unleash and you get to fight 6-8 bots at the same time which is impossible to handle.I don't know if staying in the initial map would avoid this hardcore mobs horde so I can stuff myself before exploring or nope. Also do mobs spawn randomly or there have a respawn time in each map?
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin takes aim at $100,000 target on: July 13, 2019, 11:32:08 AM
There are many pointers that tell us we’ll reach a price of over $100,000 per BTC during this cycle. Soeak to HairyMaclairy on this forum if you want in depth, technical analysis. The price should continue to slowly rise overall until the halving (approx 10 months away). What we’ll see 6-18 months after the halving, hopefully, is the parabolic surge that’ll take us to $100,000 per coin.
In general,I have faith in analysis and consider it truthful in most cases. But,when it comes to Bitcoin or crypto in general I want you or anyone just give me one example of an analysis or a prediction made by a trader or a famous personality that turned out to be true and effectively happened in the past; that being said IMHO we won't see the $100k mark anytime soon.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Big Bounty Hunters Are Greedy on: July 13, 2019, 11:21:27 AM
Big bounty hunters are those who made a lot of accounts and do the bounty at the same time, well your friend might be greedy but for sure he has a goal to achieve and that’s why he did that. You don’t need to rely with your friend, bounties are just around in the forum, find it on your own.
Making a lot of accounts to do the bounty will certainly lead to be banned from the bounty without getting paid so I don't think that's th way Bounty Hunters make make right now.

His friend might just stepped upon a bounty of a project that delivered a shitty worthless product that tokens ended being dumped.

To all bounty hunters who are like my friend ,there is nothing wrong if you teach a man how to catch a fish instead of giving him a fish ,this is crypto space and its WIN WIN for everyone ,your rewards is yours and same to others too.
AFAIK,there is nothing to be taught. You have to find a bounty you judge promising and participate, that's it.If the project succeed you will get good moeny if not you will get almost nothing.End of story
293  Economy / Economics / Re: buying bitcoin is like immigrating to a new country on: July 12, 2019, 06:36:02 PM
Bitcoin is a currency, a country issues currency, therefore I can't see why it can't be likened to a country.

To me,it can't be linked to a country simply because it's an universal currency that can be used worldwide but contrariwise each country issues their own fiat currency that can solely be used in that country. Can you see the difference now?

The network may not decentralized: mining is probably centralized in China and a lot of whale may exist to manipulate to market.

If most of Bitcoin is mined in China that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is centralized in China; you should reconsider your definition of centralization.Having most of the mining power coming from China isn't an issue at all,if China or miners in China decide to stop mining Bitcoin, the network won't be destroyed or heavilyaffected, there will always be someone who is happy to mine the free Bitcoins.

Could you please give data or source to proof the claim that there is no whale? I really don't understand this.
Whales do exist and no one can prove the opposite.

299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: June 29, 2019, 07:51:54 AM
well why aren't you boycotting XRP, ETH, BCH, BSV, ... and hundreds of other shitcoins that are fully centralized
ETH,BCH and BSV are not centralized to my knowledge.

Libra coin will bring almost all Facebook people to cryptocurrency sphere
Not really. If Facebook manages to bring in only 10% of it's user base into cryptocurrency that's a big achievement.Things just doesn't work like that.

Libra is not real crypto,
Technically,Libra IS a cryptocurrency since by definition cryptocurrency just means a secure digital currency supported by a public ledger.

In my opinion,Libra project is a good event to happen.Let me explain my self.Today, there's a lot of people who FEAR cryptocurrency simply because there was too much hacks, stolen coins, extreme volatility and people lost a lot of money, this is the COST of decentralization. For these people,it is a great thing to have a centralized cryptocurrency that is practical and less risky than others like XRP or Libra.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is XLM so out of flavour? on: June 29, 2019, 06:29:30 AM
You're not alone my friend, I heavily invested with XLM too and holding since its ATH and as of now I don't see any reason for it to go this low, it's out of the top 10 altcoins. The price of it goes stagnant when Bitcoin's price are increasing.
As far as I know, there is some inflation of Stellar: Staking. If I remmeber well there's a 1% APR if you stake your Stellar in your wallet and considering that there's a lot of people who are Staking coins nowadays this can be a reason why XLM isn't getting pumped much during the bull market, that's why I don't like much Masternode/Stake-able coins to be honest.
