421  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Samourai Wallet doesn't show my funds on: August 07, 2018, 08:48:25 PM
I always write down my seeds and passphrases,I've tried more than 10 times, didn't work.I'm pretty sure that they are correct as I always triple check when creating a wallet.
You can verify your seed phrase by checking words here https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039/english.txt
Or if it's not a English phrase you can choose the other language from here https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0039.mediawiki

Make sure that you click only the suggested words and no space.
I have checked.All words match.I also contacted their support,24 hours,no answer.Worst wallet ever,pretty sure it's a technical issue.
Lesson learnt the hard way but np.

No,it's the opposite.Adding a captcha is the best thing that could happen to this game, there was hell a lot of bots, these simple games are easily botable, making it unfair for normal users. With bots more and more outrageous, normal players would quite since they will get a very small slice of the pie.
424  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Money-Clicker.com - CLICKER MINING GAME | PASSIVE INCOME | UP TO $1/CLICK on: August 07, 2018, 05:30:12 PM
A small thing is bothering me.Let's suppose someone no-life your faucet and reachs the point where he is able to claim 1$/click (I guess after 1-2 years? lol) How are you planning to finance this huge reward? Assuming at this point the user in question would be able to make atleast 100$ a day?
Edit:shortpe link shortner won't be profitable for you,it doesn't have an anti-adblock.

Hello!

426  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year on: August 07, 2018, 02:33:50 PM
The last time we saw the $20k was not related with the CBOE. In fact, if you check carefully a chart and a calendar you will see that the price started to crash almost the same day. I don't understand why people are speculating on Bitcoin future, while it won't give any favorable result. At worst it can make Bitcoin below the $6k-$5k if the decision is negative
The fact that Bitcoin crashed the same day as it almost reached $20k is because everytime the price breaks a psychological support level (which is 20k in this case),it's logical to see a big Sell wave from those who want to collect profit and/or rise their BTC count for the next uptrend wave.
427  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Samourai Wallet doesn't show my funds on: August 07, 2018, 02:26:58 PM
Was the mnemonic phrase you tried to enter, given to you by the same wallet (samourai) ?

Usually the mnemonic phrase (if written down correctly) should recover all of your keys.

If you are sure you have written it down correctly, you might try to import it into another wallet.

The derivation path when importing the seed into a different wallet (e.g. electrum) depends on the address-type you have used.
  • Legacy (P2PKH, starting with 1..): m/44'/0'/0'
  • Nested segwit (P2SH, starting with 3..): m/49'/0'/0'
  • Native segwit (bech32, starting with bc1..): m/84'/0'/0'

You should be able to see your funds once you import your seed (and choose the correct derivation path) inside electrum.
But i don't have an explanation for your funds not appearing on your mobile (except for a wrong/different mnemonic phrase).

I'm not able to use my seeds in Electrum because it's 12 words seed, not 24 word and yes,it was given me by the same wallet (Samourai)
Hello guys,
Today,I wanted to get access to my Samourai Bitcoin Wallet but I forgot about the pin code,so I decided to use the backup by reinstalling the app (The app automatically detects if a backup is available in my device or not) so I was asked to give my passphrase which I have written down when I first created the wallet;it doesn't work.So I turned myself to my mnemonic phrase that I have also written down,it do backup a wallet with 0 funds....
Help is highly appreciated!

You did something wrong in process of restoring wallet with mnemonic secret words, some word has been incorrectly entered or your wallet passphrase is incorrect. In such a case Samourai advises that the procedure is repeated, of course with maximum precision when entering secret words/passphrase. It is very easy to type wrong letter if you use smartphone keyboard.

In case you made something wrong regarding recovery, there is step by step text&video tutorial : Restore your Samourai Wallet with your secret words
I always write down my seeds and passphrases,I've tried more than 10 times, didn't work.I'm pretty sure that they are correct as I always triple check when creating a wallet.

429  Economy / Economics / Re: Be ready for gold's bullish wave on: August 06, 2018, 10:26:19 PM
Bitcoin cannot be stable with current Bitcoiners mentality (Bitcoin should be used as an asset, not as a currency),market cap being only $120 billion compared to gold which is approx $7 trillion is also a factor why it cannot be stable at the moment.I'm pretty sure that if Bitcoin prooves stability for the next years,a lot of people will lose interest in Bitcoin.
430  Economy / Services / Re: Nexybit Hybrid Exchange Signature Campaign on: August 06, 2018, 10:06:05 PM
Hello!
It's a bit disappointing that the rates has been significantly since Bitcoin price is below $7k mark.I'm aware that,it was a move to regulates this signature campaign budget, but the price is unpredicatble. So here's my suggestion (If I'm authorized to give one);Instead of fixing a rate in BTC,set it in $ (Example, for Senior, instead of 0.0009 per post, make it 0.62$ per post converted to BTC at each end of the week). This will make everything fair and clear for both parts!
Best regards

$1,000+ per month is not a lot of money. Why would anybody pay you for coaching?
Not trying to be a jerk, but you assume that 1000$ per month is not a lot of money because you probably live in a developed country. It is a huge amount of money for people, even with diploma doesn't exceed 300$ a month,so please refrain from posting about something that is above your understanding.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: To Cash Out or HOW to Cash Out? on: July 29, 2018, 11:44:25 PM
Well,if there is big bull run and I wanted to cashout real quick,I'll just use USDT/BTC temporary until I'm able to cashout via Bank safely.I think that's the biggest advantage of Tether,in this kind of situations you don't have time to cashout using Bank transfers or similar services as it takes time for processing. And nobody got time for that.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Are you aware that some Banks accept Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2018, 11:16:02 PM
Yo guys,
Are you aware that there is some banks that accept Bitcoin like Neteller or Skrill? I just discovered it so I was surprised. You can deposit your Bitcoin and use your Bank/Credit card to withdraw.
Now,it doesn't matter if Paypal adopt Bitcoin or not since it's primary competitors have already done so.*
What do you think?
434  Economy / Economics / Re: HOW DOES COINMARKETCAP and EXCHANGE COMPUTE Coin % CHANGE on: July 29, 2018, 09:54:45 PM
Hello

Pls I am trying to understand how sites like coinmarketcap and other exchanges compute the % change for coins.

Particularly, what time reference point do they use for 24hr, 1hr etc

THanks
Per example,if a coin was 1$ today, and tomorrow it rised to 2$,the change is +100%.Concerning the time reference they use,my guess is they use UTC time zone (or GMT if you prefer).
I hope this answer your concerns.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Different between Cryptocurrency and Banking sectors on: July 29, 2018, 09:42:39 PM
And another difference is your funds in a bank account is insured by the government (at least in most Europeans countries, don't know outside) It means even if the bank collapse your funds are protected by the government (up to €100k per account in my country)
So talking about the risk I would prefer the bank
Well, being your own bank with cryptocurrency is a double edged sword.Nothing is perfect, you have advantages and downsides. And one of the downsides of cryptocurrency,is you are the only responsible when it comes to security of funds.Another thing,is that there is more chance of you being a victim of a hack than being a victim of a bank heist.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC HOLDER Criteria on: July 29, 2018, 09:26:59 PM
I belong to undetermined long investment. It means as long as I feel safe having my money in Bitcoin/cryptocurrency form,my investment will stay active.I never heard someone of my friends talking about Bitcoin,in fact they still think it's just a ponzi and it's market is not real (yes,it's sad.),some of them even think that Onecoin (Ponzi scam) is worth more than Bitcoin.. So yeah everytime I hear that kind of bullshit I become angry and decid to never talk about it again.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: SHOULD WE KEEP THE PENNY on: July 29, 2018, 08:46:20 PM
Lots of reasons to keep the penny!! We should keep the penny! I believe this because...

1. Prices will increase
if we get rid of the penny, store owners, and merchants will have to round UP to the nickel, forcing the buyer to pay MORE! And trust me it all adds up.

Merchants have already got rid of the penny.Since now more and more of customers use credit cards instead of cash. And anyway with inflation rate rising more and more, someday pennies production will stop and they will no longer be used.
Lots of reasons to keep the penny!! We should keep the penny! I believe this because...

3. Parents and allowances
my parents used to give me money in pennies when I was a young child. Pennies help children learn about money, counting ,and math.
Your parents used to give you pennies because they were worth more than today.A children now already studies maths in school during his entire scholarship, penies won't add something.
438  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in and FreeDogeco.in : a simulation study of 54,000 rolls on: July 29, 2018, 08:36:16 PM
If I understood well, with 54000 rolls you got 0 of 10000 rolls? But how you calculated the theoretical probability for a 10000 (0.01% show in the image) if that calculation is correct it seems also fishy to me that means that 1 out of 10000 rolls would win 30$? No way...
Nice find OP.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Charity Accepting Bitcoins? on: July 28, 2018, 08:15:29 PM
I think Watsi.org do accept Bitcoin for their charity program. They do crowdfundings to finance healthcare costs for individuals that live in poor countries mainly located at Africa. The concept in my opinion is really good,in addition to that 100% of your funds are allocated to the patients.
440  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Welcome for 3 way to earn coin on: July 28, 2018, 07:55:01 PM
There is no way to claim from your faucet mate. There's infinite pop ups, popping each time you click anywhere on the website in addition to the link shrinker too much hassle for such low reward..Also the websites insist to disable my adblock while I have already disabled it..
Good luck
