181  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange with the smallest credit card fee on: December 28, 2019, 04:52:09 AM
unlike binance that you can only pay $10 USD fixed you read their article from here https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360022498052

$10 fixed fee still means that the fee itself is outrageously high compared to the amount you buy. For example, you buy $50 worth of Bitcoin but have to pay $60 including fees. It means that your fee is 20% which is insane. For those who only can afford to buy small amounts once every week or month, they will overpay significantly every single time they pay a $10 fee.

I get that they want to make money and are dealing with a base fee from the financial institution they work with, but that's not fair for people with a small wallet. Undecided
That's why BitMaxz said "only if you are depositing a big amount",if OP deposits only 50$ then the fee is surely outrageous BUT let's say he wants to deposit 1000$ he only have to pay 1010$ whch implies that the fee rate is only 1% compared to other exchanges where it is 3%+ for the same amount. Conclusion:the fixed fee rate is only beneficial if you are dealing with big amounts of money. For people who only can afford to buy small amounts they better be using another service like LocalBitcoins.com
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FT1] Fortune1Coin is not just another cryptocurrency. on: December 28, 2019, 03:07:32 AM
When I first runned the fortune1coin-client,the wallet can't seem to synchronize. It's stuck and showing  Fortune1coind status:Disconnected and keeps refreshing. And I obviously don't have access to mining either,am I doing something wrong or there is a problem on your behalf?

PS:I'm using Windows wallet.

188  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: TerraGreen Bounty KYC-Scam - changed rules of their bounty and refused payments on: December 27, 2019, 12:09:07 AM
A very short update: TerraGreen has fulfilled it's promise and it seems that they they distributed the tokens to participant's tokpie accounts without having to pass KYC. I feel like they have at least figured something out regarding the issue which proves a little bit their good faith towards the the participants.

To all flag supporters, please state your opinion about this, should we all excuse them and give em another chance by removing our support, or you insist on keeping it?
189  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Japan's famous bitcoin app "Pita-coin" launches worldwide. on: December 26, 2019, 11:12:36 PM
this famous bitcoin app has +500 downloads  Grin Grin Grin Grin

very very famous Grin
It's because this app is the worldwide version that has been released just recently.

I believe they give out 0.1 BTC after 7 consecutive correct predictions which is way better than SparkProfit's payouts.

It may be a good prize, but what are the chances to get 7 consecutive predictions? It's extremely unlikely to get the promised 0.1BTC. I guess this will mainly attract fauceteers interested in

190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Bpip] Question for LoyceV or Vod. on: December 26, 2019, 04:36:19 AM
LoyceV has set his profil message to "BROKEN: I'm moving loyce.club to another server", I guess this can explain your concern.

Hi,
I would like to know when does a "day" finish when it comes to counting posts? I mean I posted 6 posts on December 25 forum time, but 3 were counted for December 25 and the other 3 were counted for December 26 in my dashboard.

195  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do u have any medical question you are afraid or embarrassed to ask your doctor? on: December 25, 2019, 09:48:50 PM

Also,I have a question that I just woudn't ask my doctor just because I know the outcome won't please me,what do you think about Nootropics in general?

Veracrypt is pretty good from my own experience.Just please don't forget your password when you encrypt your hard drives like I did once (learned it the hard way I guess) it wasn't a hard drive but just a file and I lost some ETH during this dumb process but at least now I'm convinced that you truly cannot breach a legit encrypted file Smiley
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Website Building Costs on: December 25, 2019, 05:08:14 AM
Looking up on fiverr.com for website building gigs,I see that they charge from 70-200$ on average but there is also high price points up to 2000$.But this number will highly depend on how complex the website in question has to be.The more complex, the more time and effort consuming it is,them ore money you'll charge. For example, building a simpe wordpress website isn't comparable to building a whole shopping website like Amazon.

Concerning the market,I guess that these days most digital skills like programming, design etc.. are highly lucrative and the demand is also there.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 25, 2019, 04:59:43 AM
It's not only about trusting a 3rd party and to be afraid to have your information sold/hacked it's also about Big data.
It's like with the loyalty card programs from the supermarket, they can know you and your family better than you. They know when your wife has her menstruation, they know what your children eat, how many showers per day you take, etc, etc. You can imagine a lot of stuff
Haha.I see what you are referring to,there is a lot of that stuff in our country.Though, who cares about these informations? I mean, I'm more concerned about people who share their entire life in social media,KYC etc.. purposely than knowing that some big company knows my daily habits.Actually,it starts getting dangerous when these companes make some stats/analysis of these collected out of that data and resell it to third parties to be used for advertisement targetting.

Getting back to people who accept to give out personal info for some bullshit ico whitelisting or airdrop, meh, it's just my opinion, knowing how much paranoid a person can become,it's worth it.
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide on how to build a crypto trading bot on Binance on: December 25, 2019, 04:31:26 AM
True,  I think you need a piece of advance knowledge in programming. I find it difficult to even you have basic knowledge. BTW, this is a good start to explore as the guide is already there. I need to sat down on this and study the whole mechanics, great way to spend time this holiday. Merry Christmas everyone!

I've been taking some python courses lately, and honestly the basics are not that hard imo I mean, you get used to it pretty fast but the main problem with this,I would see it as an "education purpose only" tutorial as money is involved here and I honestly wouldn't entrust my money to a bot I've coded myself or any bot in general. And even if I'm curious to test the bot I would try use a trading simulator so no risks taken.
200  Bitcoin / Press / [2019-11-12] BitClub Network's $722 million Ponzi Scam Arrested on: December 11, 2019, 12:41:43 AM
Quote
United States authorities in New Jersey have announced the arrest of three men who are accused of defrauding investors of over $722 million as part of alleged crypto ponzie scheme BitClub Network, per a Dec. 10 announcement from the Department of Justice.

[...]

The three accused are Matthew Goettsche and Jobadiah Weeks — both from Colorado — and Joseph Abel of California. Authorities are charging the first two with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, as well as conspiracy to offer and sell unregistered securities. Abel, who was apparently less central to the scheme, has only been charged with conspiracy to offer and sell unregistered securities, a charge that carries a maximum prison term of 5 years.

$722 million is really huge, judging from their website it's a classic ponzi scheme impersonating a cloud mining network, but actually don't have any miners and promise huge returns on investments. Also, OneCoin website was taken down recently, it seems that cryptocurrency scams are getting targetted these days, what do you think?
