301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: March 03, 2020, 01:39:42 AM
Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Crypto means much more than just monetary incentives, it's essentially a technical revolution that has involved the masses, something you and I can be apart of. Ultimately, that's probably one of my greatest interests for blockchain and crypto. Another big intrigue for me is the evolution of blockchain tech in itself. I've been around for quite sometime and have witnessed the evolution of cryptos, businesses, behaviors and attitudes.

These 2 factors, along with several others, are the reasons I continue to be involved on a community and business level with crypto. It's become a hobby, passion and business for me.

If most people here will be sincere, all other reasons for their involvement with crypto is buttressed down to the financial reward. And this is definitely due to the fact that no one gets motivated in services without a reward whether physical or spiritual reward. Crypto is fun, crypto is a life on it's own, and don't forget crypto has not stop being a currency which no one can deny its financial effect. You know how much people were lamenting during the bear market, and that's an evidence of how little or much they care about the reward.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 02, 2020, 04:00:54 AM
At first,It is not every one that sees porn as been negative, though you said well on porn site gaining more attention in this world. But in as much as some of us know that it is not a good channel at which Bitcoin should spread to avoid further pollution and unconscious promotion of porn, which I wouldn't subscribe to also, but don't you think many will take it spiritual or bitcoin itself would not care but will be after it's progressive circulation.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Traders be careful on: March 02, 2020, 03:49:59 AM
Every traders are in one way or another analyst, there is no way even those who are just bounty Hunter will not begin to analyse market in as much that they receive token and monitor their token here. But I think where we need to be careful is that, we should not use our analysis to confuse others, it will be fine if atleast we are sure of what we analyse to a reasonable extent before we start shouting out as if we are in the cryptocurrency market committee.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: March 02, 2020, 03:42:05 AM
I don't really understand why people see bitcoin as betting. That's what most people believe; they have this mindset that investing in bitcoin is more like playing a bet. But is that true? Capital NO!
I had a conversation with two of my siblings who both know that I'm into cryptocurrency. The older one was asking how much he would earn if he invested about 1,500$ worth of bitcoin. (Tho, I gave him a good explanation that it doesn't work that way). But then, my other sibling was saying that bitcoin is more like betting. Well, I ended up proving my point and here's it:
Betting is risky and so is investing in bitcoin. However, there's a big bridge between them. When you bet, your money is highly at stake than when you invest in bitcoin. This is because when you bet and lose, YOU LOSE ALL YOU STAKED. On the other hand, YOU CAN NEVER LOSE ALL IF YOU INVEST IN BITCOIN. Bitcoin can't just fall to zero. That's impossible. Tho it may need a long growth for one to gain, it should never be compared with betting (in terms of risk).

Hmm, dude, let's get some things right. Though not all businesses are betting but almost all businesses involves risk, it is just that the risk rate may be varying. And of course bitcoin cannot fall to zero but one may loose much if the bitcoin price drops much. The only thing that can make consistent gain more established is, if one is really patient and not greedy. Like: anyone who has invested during the 2017 bull run and couldn't have the price as invested again. Could have just kindly waited till the next bullrun.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What if Bitcoin is used in direct value. on: February 29, 2020, 07:33:19 PM
I have always imagined how fine and pleasant it will be if we won't need to convert our Bitcoin into another currency, such that it will be spent directly in it value. At least you can spend US dollars any where within and outside the country , though this idea may not be in favour of some traders. But I feel it will bring bitcoin more universal and standing on it's direct value.whats your take about this.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve the usability of bitcoin? on: February 29, 2020, 07:17:38 PM
Bitcoin usability is so far not what many of us have difficulty in, but looking to the improvement for the general usage, trading at lower price will help. Being a digital currency, educating people on the use of technology to meet up will help, Orientations, seminars and lecturing those who care to know is also important, sensitizing those who does not care is also important. If bitcoin can be brought to a state at which it can be used for daily trading. It will help too.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 28, 2020, 09:39:46 AM
Well, I have never supported borrowing money to gamble but with the clause "if you are sure of your skill". I will come down a little bit by saying, since the risk is lesser by your surety.Take it. You know your worth before concluding your are sure of your skill. And if you loose, you have your confidence to blame.
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Need to be more cautious than ever on: February 28, 2020, 04:53:12 AM
Thank you, I don't think there is anyone here who was here at the 2017 period, who Should have not learnt one lesson or another. It's about 3 years now. And any one then should be 3years older in cryptocurrency. It's not a small period of experience. So, we should be good advisers to ourselves and those who are just coming in. Though we can't stop learning. The issue of when to sell and buy still however depends on individual motive. Some wouldn't mind to loose now because the are ready to consciously bear the loss, to meet up other fains.
309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: February 25, 2020, 08:13:54 AM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?

I do trade at work but I don't trade on our work computer. I do all trading on my personal computer or on my phone. One thing that can make trading on my office computer a terrible idea is that, I may not be there forever and the system is not too secured for my account details, it could be invaded by anyone and could expose my account to hackers. Why I could even trade at work is that I am usually alone in my office so, I have some privacy
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 25, 2020, 06:50:46 AM
Guys, I think most participants here wears a signature os a campaign, and most of them are for gamble services

My question is: Do you spend the money you gain with the service you are working for?

Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me, I think it's fair and a way to say thanks  Grin

Everybody cannot be you, what penalty was for those who didn't spend back to the site that payed them. Your idea is not bad. Many simply support the gambling campaign, most are not real gamblers or may I ask, if that has made them gamblers. Some even make the mistake of speaking against gambling while they are carrying a gambling signature. This is to tell you that many are just after getting their reward and not to stay with them forever. But does it actually make sense to compulsorily gamble with money because it came from gambling. I don't subscribe to it.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: February 24, 2020, 07:43:06 PM
You have a good mind, but firstly, we have seen a lot of people who bring up ideas like this and end up as scam, who will not deliver the contribution and keep it to themselves. How do we know who is genuine about it.
Secondly, this Corona is not precisely about the poor and needy, though there is always the poor in the land. But let everyone guide his country. Take care of the needy around you with the little token you earn here and finaly, pray in whatever way you can for China to overcome.
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving Bitcoin price skyrocketed to $ 90,000. why not? on: February 24, 2020, 11:29:51 AM
Well! That's simply a prediction. But $90,000 is too infeasible especially for this year, let's be factual. We know that mining may not require more the $5000 and with halving let target $10-$12,000 still In my own prediction, one way to avoid disappointment is to know the feasibility of your expectations and not expect more than what you can receive, this is what has become a great error of many traders, though I wouldn't expect this from a full time trader. But for those who predict like this and trade for people, they end up breaking their heart.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 24, 2020, 08:47:09 AM
Your third point is common in countries or areas where power supply is not regular. There are more to it, such as ,scammer will design an attractive project site to get people, some time they send email on behalf of a project , and ask for their detail as a matter of urgency that they may not receive their token, if not submitted at given time and they get scammed.that KYC was even more advantage to scammers. And not really fulfilling much Advantage to many of us. We all need to be
watchful against them.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 23, 2020, 06:41:39 PM
Guys are still earning from bounty, we may not expect to earn as much as the miners, but the little we earn from the bounty is good enough for some of us to establish and make life with, especially the signature, translation still delivers something more worth while. If you are a miner, trader or in any other form earning bitcoin heavily, you  may not need to join bounty.but if not thisa good time for you to get back on bounty, it will be more reward any time soon "after the halving".
315  Other / Meta / Re: [Q & A]√ Ask something about the forum that you do not understand here !!! on: February 23, 2020, 06:28:18 PM
If this topic is intended to provide beginner guides and things some people still don't understand, why not put it here: Beginners & Help
People can also ask questions in Meta, but most of them are irrelevant to basic knowledge of this forum, you should consider to choose the most suitable section for the next time.

The Meta board is opened to every rank in as much as you can make the relevant topic that is fitted for the Meta platform, moderators are very keen about META posts,I believe any beginner that make accurate post on Meta is not a novice on bitcoin. If your post is not approved to be on Meta it is moved to where it belongs. For instance this question of yours is probably fitted for begginers and help, it may be moved.

Topic: EMCD Bitcoin and Litecoin Mining Pool Review ( EMCD.io )

this is our pool review by Voskcoin. He is Announce this is review
In my opinion the best solution for you at the moment.
Update topic created by: @Voskcoin, about the EMCD Mining Pool site that you are currently developing.

You may not be trusted in this case, to create a new topic, because @Voskcoin has already done it. That's probably why your topic was deleted.

I caught a glimpse, @Voskcoin made the topic not one member answered the post, for that is the best step for you right now, maybe just update the existing topic, if you say the column section of your site. I think that's the best for you right now instead of you creating 10 more topics and being deleted.

You need not get annoyed when your post is deleted, though it could be painful. But I want to believe those moderators will not just do that without a genuine reason. Probably, there was no response or too little response of people to it. That implies that, it is of very little benefit to the forum members. Sometimes, you post is not deleted but moved to another board if it is not fitted to that board. Well, you can write the moderators for a response. But you still need to improve your post.
318  Other / Meta / Re: [LOG] The ranked up members - Congratulations! on: February 17, 2020, 04:53:23 AM
Wow, congratulations to you all , you must have done a great job to get this merit and upgrade. We all aspire to gain ours too soon. We just have to be more diligent to achieve this. I give special kudos to those whose merit are even more than their activities. Atleast, we should have few things to learn from those ahead, Can you please enlighten us more on what it takes to have that?
319  Economy / Economics / Re: How a Global Epidemic is helping counties see the bigger picture on: February 16, 2020, 05:07:44 AM
I smile "the good thing the virus is doing"?
Of course it is good when people come together to show love and concern for each other, China has been of great value to the world economy and beyond, they really need help at this moment as they could not just help themselves alone. Presently, they won't be concerned about their economy but the lives of the infected. And It will definitely reflect in the world economy.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 15, 2020, 10:45:25 AM
People tend to be too lazy to learn about Bitcoin in a proper way and they won't keep complaining of being scammed. They love the get rich quick syndrome (the Ponzi pattern) and if they want people who will bait them to dupe them, they will definitely see. They believe in just giving their money out to traders and come back month end for double. Many of them meet their Waterloo after the 2017 bull run, when the traders could not meet up with their payments again. Even the trader does not want to be at the loosing end and will therefore have no better choice than to run away with their money.
