A guy bought a very big house, which triggered an argument on a telegram group.
some people were arguing on a telegram group that they guy couldn't have bought the house with only trading profit....some insinuated that he must be into other businesses.
I laughed at their ignorance.

First of all, I have to correct you for the date of the next halving - this is only a possible date, it is not possible to calculate the time period precisely because the blocks do not have a fixed time in which they occur, it is an average of 10 minutes between blocks, and blocks appear at different time intervals (1 minute or 1 hour). So the next halving can happen on May 14, 2020 - but also a few days before or after that. When you say "holding forever", it just doesn't make sense. You may think of something in the sense that you leave everything to your descendants, but hardly any holder will resist the $ 100,000 price tag. I agree that you should always keep something on the side, Bitcoin has so far awarded everyone who was patient, hopefully, it will be the same in the future. Unfortunatly, while you are hodling, you dont have any profits.
This may not be true, it depends on when you invest and when you sell. But if you invest few years ago when the price was under $1000 and just holding, you will still be in profit today. Same as you invest in the first few months of this year close to $3000 per BTC, you will be in more then 100% of profit if you sell today. Yes, probably it Should have been constructed under speculation. Halving is close by around the suspected period. Real traders doesn't need to totally stop trading but to be strategic about it. Although at this time buying is more adviceable because we have been patient enough to enjoy the good of it. There's a story that my mom told me, it's about my uncle who once became a gambling addict that there comes a time where he sold most of their things in their house just to find money to gamble. The worst thing that my uncle did is to pledge their house just to satisfy his gambling pleasures.
I know it's not easy to overcome this situation especially when you're already in your point that you want to get back everything that you have lost. You keep on gambling thinking you can earn everything back. Actually, we're already lucky enough if we continuously win the game but even our luck has its own limitations. Without noticing it, our wins are slowly turning into losses.
I also know that some of us here will just put their attention on different things to avoid too much gambling. But in reality, it's just easy to say but harder to do. There's no easy way if you really got attached to gambling. But in your opinion or personal experiences, how do you overcome your addiction to gambling?
Controlling gambling involves more of emotional maturity. Gambling addiction is a product of the habit uncontrolled from the early stage. To control addiction, research analyzed that you ignore the act 21 times and it will be over. For this to be possible it involves discipline. And inability to caution one's self is a clear sign of immaturity.it may be difficult to say here that some of those addictions could be spiritual too, and needs prayer. |

So.. i am a bored investor.. got tired of stress and watching crypto market going up and down and holding alot of coins..now i am looking for a steady minimal risk passive income on monthly basis.. say $ 3000 a month.. not necessarily from a single source.. i dont wana put all the eggs in a single basket..

2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
A lot of people never wanted to accept that 2019 was such a terrible year in crypto world, most were hidding under the talk that it is because people were not patient enough. Many of us wouldn't worry so much about some fake project if we had enough gain to old on to, but out of the few project available to invest in we're still much scam, making it frustrating. We hope to have a quick recovery this year 2020 and scams be drastically reduced. |

The price of bitcoin is not determined by the amount of government payment for workers.It is not government that sponsors bitcoin perse. I probably wouldn't gamble if it weren't for the fact that I often have so much free time to myself. It's not very high up on my list of priorities and I typically go to do other things like work in my garden or other things before I go gamble online, but even though one of my primary goals with gambling is to get a win, another one is also just to pass the time too. It's a very engaging and fun activity and doesn't eat a huge chunk out of your wallet if you're not irresponsible with your spending.
Normally, if you have a good things in mind to do with your time and money, it Should not be gambling. It is better to invest on direct business and make a clean gain and be satisfied with it.though , life is involved risk but not to live every certainty for uncertainty.we may catch fun in gambling but still under pressure. That must have been a great scam, probably involving a huge amount and with reputable personalities, that would actually draw the ears of others and caution them. Curt Basically an ICO, therefore your target audience will be crypto-oriented people, at least. As a start, you need to set up first a discussion place wherein your audience can interact either by setting an ANN thread here or creating a discussion group on a social media platform. But since ICO is currently not that appealing to anyone today (well I might be wrong here since that's my own view), you guys really need to work hard in terms of advertising at any means*. -You may target those ICO checkers and analyzer sites (icobench, icorating etc.) to somehow be included on their ICO list. -Setup a bounty -Ask some famous crypto-related article or sites about advertisement on their respective pages And I see you have lots of advisors there listed at your site. Why not consult them instead as surely they have experience on that matter.
