321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing in crypto? on: February 15, 2020, 01:59:14 AM
2020 it is time to start enjoying the fruit of the patience we have had all through the bullish period, sincerely it has been a tough time from 2017 especially for those who were not established from the initial bull run. The halving is around the corner as the market is getting relieved of loses, STOs is still suspected to replace IPOs & Is there any other expectation after this than the bull run which many has been earnestly praying for.
322  Economy / Reputation / Re: Spineless cowards making posts on: February 15, 2020, 01:35:01 AM
I feel sorry about that, I think you still need to be more patient with such people,it is one of those things coordinating different heads entails, normally you cannot satisfy everybody. And no matter how much of your lungs you boil for people you still have ungrateful ones. You already detected the coward came through a new page, you have what it takes to fight him or her hands down,I have said it several times here that morals Should be a point in the forum.i hope it  be established one day.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: February 14, 2020, 06:00:00 PM
Ethereum, being the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has all the potential of replacing Bitcoin in the future. It's more than just a cryptocurrency, being a platform for the development and execution of smart contracts (aka dApps). With ETH, it's possible to launch alternative cryptocurrencies without the need to start a Blockchain from scratch. It's also possible to use the ETH blockchain for other purposes such as voting, proof of identity, verification of documents, and more. In contrast, Bitcoin's only use is for finance where it cannot be implemented in other areas by its own.

Given all of the benefits Ethereum provides on top of Bitcoin, it makes me wonder whenever it'll be able to replace the pioneer cryptocurrency within the future? As long as, Ethereum keeps progressing in development and mainstream acceptance, it'll be much closer to Bitcoin every step of the way. What are your thoughts? Huh
Ethereum and bitcoin are presently on the high value, the rule closely in among all other Cryptocurrency, though the usage effeciency of ethereum tends to be more than the bitcoin. Ethereum makes a vital blochchain, and doesn't really act at bitcoin in circulation as bitcoin. Bitcoin is more of the direct currency available for usage.ethereum can easily birth more currency. I feel it is better ethereum remain the bedrock of the currency, and make a platform for bitcoin than taking over from bitcoin.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone still earning with bounties? on: February 13, 2020, 12:43:04 PM
Many still earning from bounty, there is something meaningful to get from bounty especially signature, translations. The miners and the wealthy traders may have nothing to do with bounty because the token may not be worthwhile enough to make a meaning to them, but it is that crumbs that many hustle for and make life with. Bounty is still very much relevant, it should not stop.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As a Bounty hunter, don't expect too much on: February 13, 2020, 09:33:09 AM
The first issue of bounty Hunters is that they forget the naturally hunter could just be luck to kill something big today and nothing tomorrow or something very small even in the same forest. Social media  campaign maylocate the same percent of disbursement for Facebook and when the population of participant has overwhelmed the percent they have very little at distribution. Faithful signature campaign participants uses the only opportunity to join one campaign at a time, so they tend to have more.miners get more  and traders too. hunters learn to manage their token as it may come.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: February 13, 2020, 09:07:35 AM
Is USD a crypto currency? I see it as fiat. And USDT as token also or am I getting it wrong? All cryptocurrency just use USD as the measure of calculating in Fiat value, this is one of the reasons why many people use to think U.S controls crypto. I'm expecting Bitcoin to dominate all other value, The competition may between bitcoin and ethereum. But so far so good bitcoin has the upper hand.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: February 13, 2020, 08:40:52 AM
After the years in trading Bitcoin it came more and more clear to me that Bitcoin is technically not decentralized anymore... its mainly owned by huge mining farms or early adopters who are able to manipulate the market at will, many exchanges playing with Bitcoin and Altcoins by making fools out of the normal Joe who wants to enter the Crypto world, i know many here will think that you should be ready and get informed before taking any step into the crypto world, but does it not bother anyone that some people are enriching them self by kicking the crap out of your wallets??

Bitcoin Mining is dead unless you own a mining farm with the necessary hashrate, again only big companies having access to Bitcoin!!!

What is your thought about this??

It only look as you have said, but it is not so, I have  some times thought it doubtfully if the decentralized character of bitcoin is still valid, considering some influence of certain nations or people on the market value, but I later understood that there are certain people who much manage the market, mining and updates and they are not spirits or Angels. As you can see on this platform, there are executives who manages our posts, being decentralized will make anyonr else be part of them without descrimination.
328  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk can become the facebook of money on: February 12, 2020, 05:38:15 AM
Facebook of money? How will that look like Undecided ?
Maybe you can create one, I believe if it is making sense it will be adopted. One thing I know is that all app cannot be configured the same way, as long as the present one is not delivering lesser than expected. New innovations and upgrade is not bad though, our function on bitcoin has been linked to telegram, youtube, Twitter and facebook already.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: If you could invest your cryptocurrencies in the environment would you? on: February 10, 2020, 05:51:24 PM
Yes, I would. I believe when we are rich we need to affect our environment positively, contribute to betterment of the community. They are like seed sown, we don't need to be a politician to make impact in our communities. And there are many governments now who do not care about their people. Bad road, good water, electricity and all the likes which are essential but they greedily syphon money for themselves. As God blesses me.i can also contribute my support and I know the happy ones will see it and bless me from their heart.

331  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: February 09, 2020, 04:51:50 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
You mean real currency "medium of exchange", I think many of us use bitcoin as medium of exchange, how about the trading?as you have said some stores accept it. If bitcoin is in note or coin form, it will solve the problem, but if bitcoin should be made in Fiat form it looses it's character as digital currency. I believe as each nation advances, that will be in place.

333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 09, 2020, 04:22:03 PM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?

One cannot make enough money to stop making more,  it is about personal decision and discipline, crazy gamblers will make money outside gambling and still gamble with it.
Relationship can actually change one,as in bring one out of the gambling by influence, so also passion can drift one out of it.thats if the passion is not what one gamble around. I don't actually gamble so I don't think of stopping.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: agriculture and bitcoin on: February 09, 2020, 03:17:05 AM
My simple way of advising you is; make enough coin, when you sell, in regards to whichever aspect you want to invest in the agriculture, you may buy enough land, do mechanized farming, employ more hands, make good production. Then, you may involve the government to also support by investing into it. From there, whatever your product, it will be a benefit to your country at large.there are some agricultural organizations  that still invest in bitcoin even as project. You can get there.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: February 08, 2020, 07:49:11 PM
We all have a lot to do in curtailing crypto crime, those thieves are restless about our account and we can't afford to take it for granted, to ensure this, we need to keep our token in our personal wallet and keep the password away from any reach.most hackers are experts, at this time they are still even hunting because the know that by the end of the year the price value will increase and they can have their targets, every body sit up.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries with banks to buy and sell cryptocurrencies on: February 08, 2020, 05:56:19 AM
I have always thought banks will still be of useful advantage to cryptocurrency and to the fact that we may not need to have them totally eliminated for cryptocurrency, they can have a way of working hand in hand with each other to satisfy the users, China would have been my next suspected country but the coronavirus infection may take them little time to gain balance.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 07, 2020, 04:53:23 PM
No one should dispute the fact that bitcoin is the best so far, but the presence of other altcoin when low or high will go s long way in reducing certain pressure on bitcoin, though bitcoin's aim is to be the world currency but considering the hunters, some will have to deal with those altcoin and that will help bitcoin hunter have more profit. Then, all those altcoin can also get better by competition. They will also not allow others to relent in improving.
338  Other / Off-topic / When do you enjoy making posts? on: February 06, 2020, 12:19:19 PM
Making good and quality post requires concentration, I have discovered I enjoy doing it very early in the morning since I will be busy at work during the day and  most times in the evening when I'm tired I may not have the best of it because of the stress of the day. So, I prefer sitting with it at dawn or morning than after the day work.Probably the moderators and forum managers would have observed that most late hour posts of the day are not as qualitative as the early morning when people's brain has rested and is refreshed.

When do you enjoy making your post? Morning, afternoon, evening, midnight....
339  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 06, 2020, 12:05:41 PM
At first, we know that the outbreak of coronavirus in as much as it will affect people psychologically, it will affect their participation in the use of Cryptocurrency in one way or the other. There will be emigration from the dominant areas which will disrupt atleast few peoples function. As a matter of fact, it Should not have anything to do with the price of Cryptocurrency if it is actually a decentralized coin. There is always a sense of making people assume that bitcoin is controlled by the Chinese, if not, would we think of this if the disease was in Africa.
340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2020, 05:47:45 AM
That's actually thoughtful of you, I never took time to observe that. Normally even in banks, transaction tends to be higher on Monday and Fridays because money made over the weekend are deposited on Monday while those who had made budgets for the week will withdraw to meet up and on Friday people withdraw money to take care of bills over the weekend while some save on Friday to a Avoid accumulating money in hand over the weekend. Now, note- that graph may be a coincidence. Until we ascertain the analysis confirmed.
