Is there any chance someone would be kind enough to compile this wallet for me.

https://github.com/pupac/pupa

Would prefer windows wallet, but i can try running Ubuntu 16.04 under a virtual box.

Thanks

Hi,

Could anyone please let me know where i can find a wallet that will run on Ubuntu 16.04.
I have no idea how to compile, but if anyone has the github links and can walk me through it, i will happily try compiling.

Thanks

Wow great way to launch a coin.
I am so inspired Sad
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW][SHA256] USDCoin - Mine it now. on: October 22, 2017, 02:34:34 PM
In case you haven't been paying attention to the client and haven't been watching it mine to a second address and the results leaving your wallet then you should def know dev is just mining on your pc while you mine.

Lay out your evidence otherwise................dev Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

I second that.
Complete scam.
Just watched with my own eyes, mines 2 blocks, into wallet, got one confirm on one, then both disappeared with out trace.

Dodgy coin - dodgy wallet.

Hi,

I think there is something very wrong with your block explorer.

Wallet says block 1240 DIFF 125.57 , NET 12.26 GH/s
Explorer says block 1240 DIFF 0.00024414, NET hash unreported

That's a huge difference in values
1088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Satan Coin [STC][Scrypt][Pow-Pos][Coin block: 100] on: October 16, 2017, 06:25:12 PM
Guys, why do you do this.

Brand new coin, few hours old, only block 468 and your hitting it with 20GH/s...WHY !

Do you not realise its all leveledout by the diff.
You could be mining it just as well with 2MH if everyone was cpu or gpu mining it, but instead it only takes 1 person with a stupid asic to kill all these scrypt coins.
Thing is, when asics first came out, they were about 1mh, which was about 4 times a top end gpu, not they start at 500MH, so over 250 times a $1000 gpu.
Why dont you just turn them off for a few days and actually let other people mine just a few coins....

It really is time we moved away from scrypt, it really is becoming a lazy dev option.

Frustrated

You don't need to use command line parameters. The config file is enought.

Thankyou for all your assistance today.
All working, and FIRST block finally found.

I downloaded and tried this, but it is missing several dlls.
I searched my pc, and found multiple different versions of the missing dlls, and so far have not found a combination which work.
Could you please give me the correct dlls?
LIBEAY32.dll
SSLEAY32.dll
zlib1.dll

Thanks

Sorry for that. I haven't tested these binaries on a new clean computer.

These dlls is general. In my case these are in the mingw distributive.

You can get dlls with following link:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bz9EpO65pdadaktKRktzQVpvZzg

If you need more dlls I'll upload it.

Please, report on successful execution. Then I'll include these dlls in the wallet archives.

Wow, quick response. Thankyou.

Ok, so dll's are great and allow wallet to run...but now..

getting stuck at "connecting to frontend: 127.0.0.1:222

So for completeness, i am using http://graymines.net/miners/datacoin/dtcclient_v10.1beta.zip

Datacoin wallet with embedded server for local GPU solo mining with xpmclient.

Type "setgenerate true" in debug console for starting server.

Download xpmclient and configure it for localhost or 127.0.0.1.

I am successfully using "dtcclient_v10.1beta" with my Nvidia 750Ti pointed at "dtc.graymines.net" pool, and even tried configuring that to point at my local wallet,
but i get

Hi Chicago, MarcusDe,

erm, lets start a fresh

I'm using windows 7 and wallet "datacoin-qt-131204", using shortcut to "C:\Users\crypto\Downloads\datacoin-qt-131204\datacoin-qt.exe -server"
I've also tried wallet "datacoin-qt-i386-solo-mining-gui-131225" with -server option (not sure what the difference is between the wallets)

Then i have tried a few different miners

After about 30 mins the max diff got to 7.02147 and stayed at that value for the next 6 hours and i only had values on 6 and 7 chain count, never any higher (is that right)

3)   datacoin-marcus-generic-miner-64  using  "DataMiner.exe -o 127.0.0.1:2222 -u user -p password"

Same results as above

I know it takes a while to find a block, but i don't even know from those stats if it is mining correctly.
As for adding the "-rpcthreads=<n>        Set the number of threads to service RPC calls (default: 4)"
I don't have a clue where that line is - sorry

I feel so stupid cos i successfully mine 10's of different coins, but have no idea where to start with this one. Half the links either lead to deleted mega files, or viruses, and most of the tutorials seem not to work, or be for linux users only.

I'm in need of a little hand holding please

Good morning,
Just tried this link page 1

Pool Miner
https://github.com/rdebourbon/jhPrimeminer

The mega file is no longer available.
Any chance of a windows binary please.

Also, is there a solo miner for this yet please?

Thanks
J

If you think about GPU miners for dtc.graymines.net pool you have links to miners on pool's start page.
In every package you have both linux and windows binary. I tested them all mining DTC myself.
Also remember to edit config file :-)

I can try to compile miner from link above in Visual Studio when I go back home this evening ;-)

Thank you for coming back to me.
I have downloaded all the pool miners from those links, but it is specifically a solo miner i am after.
If you have the time to compile that would be greatly appreciated, no rush though. This coin will be about for a long time to come.

is there  a new github for this?

Also... seems I have missed a swap??? I've have a bunch of old FAME....

I too have loads of old fame coin, and i also greatly dislike tokens and waves, and all that crap/
Maybe we can fire up the old wallets and take the original coin forward?

Be careful if you are thinking to mine at mining pool. Most of mining pools are on the wrong chain at the moment!
Solo-mine until the problem get fixed.

If you can post your connections please, would love to solo mine Smiley but no connections, wallet still on block 0

GUYS,

I think you might as well all stop mining.

The 3 pools linked on http://luxcoin.tech/#

1) CryptoPool - doesnt even have coin on it
2) Friends-Master - pool down
3) BeardedPool - block  100

other pools
lycheebit pool block 1661

Wallet still no connections
