hate to break it to you - but with 1 or 2 TB you wont win anything on Diskcoin .. not even a honorary mention Why's that? Brand new chain. Should be open to all miners I used to win blocks on Burst with 1 TB (obviously not now)

Anyone with appropriate rights online that can resync / restart the testnet explorer's wallet - its hung on blockheight 8299 while the chain is at 8353
@Diskcoin .. you seem to "forget" a few things .. Replotting is only one side of the coin ... but we get (forced) new wallet addresses ... need to rebind other pools which poses problems in case of the big BHD pools - Hdpool / Hpool co-op .. as both only accept new bindings with sufficient pledge ... And again it rises the question why YOU and your new vapour coin demand this step from miners interested ....
I feel reminded of AMD vs Intel in the early 90's - do you know what would have happened if AMD said "fuck Intel" WE now set the rules for 80x86 processors? Exactly we wouldnt know about AMD aside from early 90's stock exchange notices
hmmmm Whilst you may want to dual / triple mine with the other crappy POC coins, i'd much rather start from scratch with a coin that can only be singularly mined. Gives real people with a spare 1 - 2 TB a real chance, instead of all the massive 1PB+ rigs mining Burst/BHD/etc After all the whole point of crypto is decentralisation...you know the hands of the many, not the few.... As for you AMD/Intel argument, who knows, if AMD had said "FCUKU" then perhaps Intel would be just a vague memory....only history will tell J

Anyone fancy putting some links to the wallets / plotters / miners up?

Hi guys,
Just a heads up. I don't usually write things like this, but i am having ongoing issues with this exchange.
I joined enmanet a while ago, and it seemed like an OK exchange. However, whilst i have been able to deposit and trade successfully, i have only been able to make 1 withdrawl of BTC. That was the 13th May 2019. When i went to make my second withdrawl i got a withdrawal confirmation email, but when clicking on the link, i got the following error "Withdraw error: Your withdrawals have been disabled. Please contact support."
The only support is via a box, which says "submitted" buy i never get a ticket number, or via "Discord". I have asked many times in "Discord" what the issues are, and days go by without any acknowledgement, then eventually i am told the withdrawals are working, and to PM "IVAN" which i do, and yet i still cannot withdraw BTC.
I have stopped sending coin there, since i dont know "when", or even "if" then will allow BTC withdrawls ( i have lost potentially 0.01 BTC a day due to this) I don't know what issues they are having, but be wary. They still seem to be adding new listings, so looks like the focus is on something else, not fixing fundamental issues.
Hopefully they will resolve things, cos they seem like an interesting place. J
Thanks for the feedback, will not recommend this exchange until we hear from their admins confirming they've fixed the issue(s). Update Despite contacting DEV nearly everyday, and having numerous conversations, i still cannot withdraw my 0.03 BTC. The suggestion is that "it" has got the maths wrong, so my balance somehow isnt correct, so it can't be fixed......)I've only deposited 2 coins, and traded 1 in 1 go, and the other many times, both for BTC) Dev had agreed to re-imburse me directly, on a particular date, but then that date came and went, and finally dev said that the "Balance" we had agreed on, was incorrect again, and that he could only pay in 3 lumps (based on a smaller amount). That was days ago, and still not recieved any BTC. (all ther withdrawls also blocked). Unfortunately there seems to be a growing numer who are having same issues. I think any Exchange that cannot cover even 0.03 BTC is probably one to avoid. Having spoke at length with the Dev, i am undecided as to a scam, or just someone compltely out of their depth, either way, i would think very carefully about deposisting any coins there.

Best thing to do with Burst, is walk away....
Completely controlled by PB rigs, no change for small guys...
Was a brilliant project, but time to move on....

Hi "DiskCoin",
I was very interested when i first saw the chance of a "NEW" hdd mineable coin. I love POC coins..... but
Seems like a copy of BTCHD...
1) Why make it based on POC2 plots.....that surely means that the guys who already have 100's of TB already plotted will simply have yet another coin to mine in massive amounts, completely freezing out any newbies....i mean triple mining, seriously. 2) What is with the only 40% reward. Why so low. Why force me to stake? What's in it for me, and you? I assume that if i am not staking, that my missing 60% goes somewhere. To you perhaps?
Not the greatest way to pre-lanch a coin.
Let's see the code, and see some transparency please.
I'm ready, sat here waiting, with my single 8TB drive.
J
Just had a quick look @ BTCHD, their current network size is "Full network capacity 1434.81 PB", so you really want to triple mine against those sats?
1.We all love the POC; 2.The POC2 mechanism is a proven mechanism, with large community base; 3.Adding the Staking mechanism is based on economic model considerations. We believe that people in the community can benefit from the Staking mechanism.; 4.Huge existing capacity is indeed a problem, we are studying the impact of this. And finally, thanks for your attention. 1) The only people who love POC2 are the ones with PB's of FREE storage, if you have to buy the drives, then there will never be an ROI (i've mined Burst (nefore it was Burst), and all its spinoffs, so have some history 2) With regards the staking, you havent answered my question...If i don't stake, but win a block, so i only get 40% reward, where does the other 60% go?

Wow, what happened?
had to shut my rig off over the Xmas period, for 2 days, and never re-synced after that. Yobit still trading, but no way to get peers from them, so cannot connect to official chain. Having said that, Yobit, now have wallet in maintenance anyway, so i think its pretty much dead.... Shame

The latest block got stuck on June 19, that was 5 days ago. Can dev fix this explorer issue? No issues with my wallet....block 2345542 J

I'm paying 18p kwh (inc standing charge) and know i can make daily profit, and ROI withing 3-6 months So, like i say, if u dont want em, feel free to send em my way. J

Guys, few quick hints
If you want to earn serious money CPU mining, then do your own research.
If the coin is on any of these "calculator" sites, then you can almost guarantee far too many people are mining it to make it profitable.
There are several coins where you can be making $1-$3 a day from say a Ryzen 1700, which is not bad at all, at the moment.
Also, when you do find a coin, don't spread the word on here, unless you want a whale to kill it.
Good hunting...

anyone got a list of peers?
Here you go addnode=107.175.46.179:8235 addnode=184.164.162.83:8235 addnode=84.232.245.208:8235 J still won't connect meanwhile. old wallet on mac syncs up fine If you have old wallet on system, i think you'll need to clear our /roaming/uraniumX/ folder (make sure to keep wallet.dat safe) , and start from clean I could be wrong, but fairly sure that's what i had to do

I run 3 Ryzen systems 24/7 for nearly 18 months now, flat out, no issues Even if they do break, they have paid for themselves many times over... Is that really profitable? Mining with CPU? By using your CPU on 100% you will soon damage it. CPU is not made for 100% power for a long time.
