Can't open? SFR has been removed It was working last Saturday, even the block explorer. I think they're removing the traces of Saffroncoin (SFR) in most links in preparation of migration to new token (Saffron). Yet my wallet is still updated and synchronized with 3 active connections. Where can I see the available nodes, I only have one active connections Currently there is only 1 connection. I woudn't bother mining it, with 1 connection, the chain could fork all over the place. Probably best to wait until the re-launch. |

All the current coin needs is a few pools, and a little advertising.
I've been in crypto many years, and my thoughts are that most "old coins" that become "Tokens" die, and usually, very quickly.

It wouldn't be a token. It will have its own blockchain and consensus method. It will reform to being a smart blockchain that provides interoperability of blockchains for decentralized transfers and payments. Saffron will be the currency for the ecosystem that is being built around it. So still mineable? |

There is a non mandatory wallet update available : version 5.0.1 .
Checkpoint added, so the wallet loads in about 20 seconds instead of 2 minutes and more.
Totally Pi""ed off ! I wish you devs would write a coin that works. I've been mining this for weeks. Only a few hours each day, i've gone up thru the wallets and have been on 5.0 since you released it. So, yesterday, i decided to "upgrade" to 5.0.1, and now i have a balance of ZERO Where the heck are my 115,000 coins that i have mined for the last few weeks? Clearly i some how managed to end up on a different chain....but when i was restatring the wallet each day, how the heck as a dev have you managed to write code that doesn't grab the correct seed node? Been a miner for years, and mined over 1000 diff coins, so seen my fair share of "scams and broken coins", but this has really narked me.... I thought this was one of the good ones. So, restarting with Zero coins. I've left my LTNCG address in my profile, if any ones feels generous. J sorry for your lost...  when you upgrade your wallet...is it still using the same wallet address...? i use wallet since version 3.0 and when i upgrade to the new version..my coin not missing... Hi, Yeah i started with 3.0, then 4.0, then 5.0 all with no issues, but then 5.1 lost all coins I was definately on the right blocckahin at one stage becuase i remember it being over 1 million blocks (the wrong chain is 650,000 blocks) |

I think the biggest issue here, is the bag holders.
I have mined this coin on and off since day 1, and to date my balance is 2644.00 SFR
Most of this coming from the last 2 days where the diff is incredibly low. (i'm cpu mining)
So as soon as this gets some traction and a pool get written so peeps can use ASICS, then i can't see how there is any chance for the small miner.
To get 100,000 coins which would only get me to the top 75, would take over 6 months mining, if i won every block....
I would guess the best thing to do now the chain is moving again, is to mine it lightly and gain some coins, before the "big boys" come in and kill it.
Once we all have some slightly bigger bags, then cool, lets list it.
If any one has 1000's of coins and wants to donate, please feel free.

Hi Guys,
Is there anyone out there who has a working, synced windows 7 wallet?
If so, could you please help me out.
I have tried every version of Elacoin-Qt.exe i can find, and ever version of "libwinpthread-1.dll" i can find (most have bad viruses), and every time i lanuch the wallet, it
1) Fails
or
2) Open, starts to sync, then shuts after approx 1-2 seconds.
Surely out of all you amazing guys, someone can help me with this?

The wallet sometimes starts to sync with blocks 400,000 ish, other times starts to sync with 1,125,000 blocks, any ideas?

While you not spend this, you can raise the blockexplorer, connect this coin to the mining pools, an begin PR. You do realise this coin was worth loads, over a year ago, but is now completely worthless. It had an explorer, and an exchange. Why try bring it back now then the block reward is 1/4 what it was, and there is no one wanting it. The only reason i have so many laft, is cryptopia died very quickly and i got cuaght with them. The 300,000 is just 1 wallet, i have about 12 more wallets.... Like i say, if you want to use the code to create another coin, great, but for those of us who have spent time and money mining it for the last 2 years, would like this coin and its blockchain to be left alone please. Besides, there are loads of Argon2d coins now, like this they are all all gpu minable too They delisted this coin before someone hacked Cryptopia. I remember that I sold one LemonCoin for 40-45 satoshi, before Cryptopia announced it's delisting process. By the way, the biggest problem is we don't know where the developer is. i do not think that the developer of lemoncoin will return to bitcointalk , Last Active January 09, 2019, 11:42:56 PM , if he is still alive and in crypto then he does not use bitcointalk anymore still it hurts a little to let this coin die , as i remember it has a very good algorythm Yeap. As I see here, and here, the last activity was been in "Jan 22, 2019". Satoshi Nakamoto also published his idea in PDF, and gone too. But bitcoin is alive 10 years, after that his action. Source code is opened, and community can development this coin. So, anyone are welcome to forking it, and programming some functions, to make this coin - better! For example, can be added client-side paperwallet, brainwallet, sibnature tool, Proof-Of-Stake mining, masternodes, leasing-POS, and some another good options, like Ligtning-networks or Segwit supporting. But, need to be a keen on programmer to do development the coin, which has no premine, and to do this just for fun. To be honest, there are 1000's of coins out there to "play" with. I think we'd prefer to leave this coin as is ... Thanks Yes, there are many good ideas expressed in the code of many altcoins, their current blockchain does not matter, the main thing is technology. And this coin have unique POW-mining algorithm. This can be used, for example for multialgorithms-coins, like BINARIUM. |

Just my thoughts.
If your electricity really is free.
Why not buy a bunch of really cheap multicore, preferable multi cpu servers, and cpu mine.
The older cpus are no where near as efficient as the current ones, say 1/2 as efficient, but generally anywhere between 1/4 and 1/10 the cost.

You have to have cheap electricity, I have 4 cents electricity and have never had a one of my 100 GPUs be unprofitable and some are 3 years old.
LOL, then my friend, you are doing something terribly wrong. I cpu mine, GPU mine (AMD not so much) but with 1-3 Nvidia cards, in the UK paying over 18p kwh, so way over 22 cents, and have ROI'd all my equipment and make a small amount each month. |
