1401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past two months bitcoin journey on: July 16, 2021, 11:35:59 PM
really inspires me friend, I personally sometimes still consider investing in bitcoin using personal money, by watching you buy bitcoin gradually you can collect 0.009 btc, it's like I'm shopping for something that has just been eaten or damaged, it's better to invest in bitcoin what else is currently being done  below bitcoin price

It's really inspiring what the OP has been doing for two months, actually what the OP has done we can all follow, but honestly it's really hard to
have a commitment like the OP did. Even though we all know the potential of Bitcoin, but we prefer to spend our money on something that is
sometimes not useful. Thanks to the OP for making us all aware that we really have to start collecting Bitcoins from now on, before the price gets
higher and can make us regret.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 16, 2021, 11:12:30 PM
I kind o like feeling in control of my finances and that means controlling my spending and being very aware of what goes in and what goes out. I normally check my accounts every month and may make a few decisions on what to spend next month if things are not looking correct. One of the things I do is to set aside 10% of my income for things that I really do not need - expensive clothing, gadgets and electronics, books, games,... and part of that is gambling. For me, a reasonable gambling budget is 3 to 5% of my income, although I may allow more if I have some extraordinary income that month. How do you plan your gambling or fun budget?

I can't plan to bet a money that's out of my main job's earning, that feels so bad to loss a hard earned money compared to a money from bounties or airdrop. Budgeting is needed for us to prevent sudden loss of funds, you don't know one day you'll be suffering from financial struggles if you treat gambling so serious. This shouldn't be a priority, but rather consider it as a second options in life.

I agree it's better not to make gambling a priority in life, gambling is supposed to be an activity to seek entertainment. So the budget that we provide
must come from the extra money we have or it could be money from bounties or airdrops. Because playing gambling the possibility of us losing
money is very large, even when I play gambling, I always lose more than the profits I get. Usually I set aside about 10% of the income I have every
month for gambling. If we do not limit our budget for gambling there is a possibility that in the future we will experience financial difficulties,
because playing too much gambling can cause addiction. If we are addicted to gambling then our finances are in trouble and our lives can fall apart.
1403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to do a defensive trading strategy? on: July 16, 2021, 10:47:55 PM
I encountered this "defensive trading strategy" term from a post in one of the social media platform. I tried searching for it in the web but haven't seen anything.
I am planning to add this to my overall trading strategy.

If I will elaborate on it based on my own understanding, it means a strategy that will minimize your losses in case of a downtrend or settling a profit right away even there's a possibility of going up in case of an uptrend.

In your 2 months of trading, I'm sure you already hear the word stop-loss. Now applying it to yourself, you should plan a certain strategy just in case your holdings are now decreasing the value; will you sell it or just continue to accumulate.

Determining what price will be your stop-loss is basically can only be answered by you. Just continue to do trades and you will be used on it.

We really have to minimize the losses that we experience when the market suddenly drops, because trading really has to be able to make quick
and right decisions. And by implementing stop-losses in trading, this helps us as traders so as not to experience losses that are not too big.
Stop-loss, in my opinion, can be called a defensive strategy, and we can enter the market again at a lower price when we use stop-loss. I usually
activate stop-loss when the price drops 10%, but that doesn't mean everyone has to be the same as me on stop-loss pricing. Please determine
the price of our respective stop-loss, according to our respective calculations.
1404  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market is full of opportunities to come on: July 15, 2021, 11:19:42 PM
I don't see a quick recovery in the near future to be honest.
No one actually can see what to happen in the next few days, few weeks, or even few months. So, we cannot judge if no fast recovery in the near future. Especially about the recovery of BTC price to go above $35k or go below $30k again. But if we consider the increase of most crypto coins today, probably in the next few days there will be a bit decrease in crypto prices.

I admit the movement of cryptocurrencies is very difficult to predict, so no one is able to know what will happen to crypto. But everyone is free to predict
what they think is right based on the results of the analysis they do. So there is no certainty whether there will be a recovery in the near future or not.
what is certain is that if we have extra money, buying potential coins is a good opportunity in market conditions like this. Because in the long term
some potential coins will definitely increase in price, much higher than the current price.
1405  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies replace fiat currencies on: July 15, 2021, 10:19:56 PM
It's a topic we've been discussing about for a very long time. If we're talking about volatile cryptocurrencies, then I don't think that they will replace fiat. But if we're considering the digital currencies which are developed by governments, then they can and they will replace fiat in the future surely. It's an inevitable reality and people who are against it should digest this truth.

Although this topic has been discussed many times, it is indeed very interesting to talk about, because there are still many people who believe Bitcoin
will replace fiat in the future. Even though this possibility is impossible, however the government will not allow fiat to be replaced by uncontrollable
Bitcoin. If fiat is to be replaced, I also believe for sure by the digital currency that is being developed by the government. Therefore, Bitcoin was created
not to replace fiat, but to become an alternative payment. So humans if they want to make payments there are other options.
The presence of cryptocurrencies is not supposed to threaten the existence of fiat.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I rather stay hungry than sell my Bitcoin on: July 15, 2021, 08:56:59 PM
...

I don't know if you're saying this from the heart but I won't dare to hold my Bitcoin while my stomach is hungry...

people work hard to fill their stomachs to stay full, many even pick up leftovers food just to fill their stomachs. I am also a BTC holder but when I have to be forced to exchange it to fiat then I will do that.
maybe he have other sources to get money  and to buy a food?  but he only dont want to use his btc no matter what .
well that was his decision but for us we dont mind spending some btc to full fill our needs and no need to find money somewhere else because btc is also  a money and its available on hand. btc fluctuates and the price could come down for us to buy again.

After all, buying food is a basic human need, without food humans can die. It is better to sell the Bitcoins that we have if we are hungry, unless we
have other sources of income to buy food, not selling the Bitcoins we have it's fine. Because for me buying food is an important thing that must be
fulfilled, if I really had to sell my Bitcoins to buy food, I will do it. I always buy Bitcoin with extra money, meaning that after all my needs are met,
and it turns out that there is still money left, then I will buy Bitcoin.
1407  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: July 14, 2021, 10:51:48 PM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?

It's easy to answer this question.
Look at the price history of Bitcoin and you'll definitely know whether Bitcoin is good for long term investment or not.
Hodling is even much easier than short/daily trading and has a lesser risk in lossing your money.
The profitability depends on how well you do day trading, minus all the lossing trade you've made. While "hodling" profit depends on Bitcoin's price and the price when you bought them.

By looking at the development of Bitcoin prices over the past 11 years which continues to increase, it means that Bitcoin is very good for
long-term investments. Therefore I never hesitate to hold Bitcoin in the long term, in fact every time I have extra money I will buy Bitcoin.
Because I believe the price of Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future and it will give me a big profit. I agree holding is easier than doing
daily trading, because all we need is patience when holding. While daily trading has a very big risk, wrong decisions can make us lose money.
So for newbies and those who don't understand how to analyze the market, they should choose holding rather than daily trading.
1408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Trading is Profitable? on: July 13, 2021, 11:09:31 PM
indeed we can generate abundant rewards in crypto, but that means our risk is also greater when trading here. different from forex trading which has smaller fluctuations, I think forex scalping is a trade that can make a lot of money in a short time, but back again on the condition that we have skills in that field. we can compare the two between crypto trading and forex trading, and after that we can compare them
Both have the capabilities to bring you the amount of profits that you desire as long as you have the right sets

of skills and knowledge while working with your choosen venues of investment. Crypto and forex are both high

risk types of investment/trading, if you failed to work with your knowledge the risk of losing in a short period of time

is very likely to happened.
no matter in any finance market we are , trading skill and fundamental knowledge was very important for us to generate profits and survive in market. It is basic requirement for us if want job as traders, it will not easy for us mastering all knowledge rellated with trading but i am promise it will give us interested experience. our mental and psychology will really tested by the market.

Actually, there are many factors to be able to become successful traders, both crypto and forex trading can provide profit, if we do it right.
We do have to have good analytical skills to be able to read price movements in the market, so we can make the right decision. And most
importantly being a trader does require patience, because we have to go through a long process to be able to successfully get a profit.
So our mental and psychology need to be trained, so it is natural that when you start trading we often experience losses. But we can learn
from every mistake we make, in order to avoid it in the future.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 12, 2021, 11:26:27 PM
~
There are actually reports that have been romanticized by the medias that after getting jabs, those people died. But they don't highlight what's the actual reason of it, like those adults that have taken the shot and then afterwards they got the side effect and eventually died.
Most vaccines are still in the trial phase but they've been assured that they're effective to fight against the covid-19 virus. And there's much better result with those countries that got most of their citizens vaccinated and this is what Poland is trying to do.
For sure the media wouldnt really tend to show it up to public in terms of those people who died because of vaccine side effects. Why? this would create panic and would really be

changing up someones mind on getting a shot and of course this would affect business as well because people would already be hesitant on getting vaccinated.

Having some lottery chance is a good initiative but wont really be enough to convince people.

What you say does make sense, because if there are many articles that report the side effects of vaccines can result in death, this will make people
even more refusing to be injected with vaccines. For now, the best chance to prevent the spread of the virus is vaccination. So it is not surprising
that various countries are looking for ways to make their population willing to be injected with vaccines. What the Polish government has done
with lottery offers is a very good move and deserves appreciation. Hopefully other countries follow what the Polish government is doing, because
the lottery has proven to be able to attract many people. Although there are definitely people who are still not interested in being injected with
vaccines for various reasons. At least the state is trying to do something to reassure its citizens and that's a good thing.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is the biggest investment opportunity in the future on: July 11, 2021, 11:29:09 PM
I also see the spike of interested investors this year; more people adapt to this technology and experience the benefits.
We've been testing waters ever since the start; I think the potential is huge; this is the time to spread awareness and make reliable information more widespread; This could lead to more development under the crypto technology.

With the price of crypto being so high this year, especially the price of Bitcoin which surprisingly managed to reach a price above $60k. No wonder it
finally made many investors interested in investing in crypto, even though they don't really understand how crypto works. Which is actually what
finally made the crypto market fall as it is now, because too many new investors joined in panic seeing the current market situation. Therefore,
it is necessary to educate new investors so that they first learn everything about crypto, don't buy crypto because they want to get instant profit.
Because in the future crypto can be a very big opportunity to make big profits, it is necessary to understand that generating profits from crypto
cannot be obtained instantly, but needs to go through a long process.
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will never be gone on: July 10, 2021, 11:24:59 PM
No one knows the future and no prediction is true 100% about the future of bitcoin.
However, we do believe that Bitcoin can still exist. I believe it. because we all know that Bitcoin has been here for a long time ago. And we have known that BTC has been in many more areas, more countries accepting Bitcoin, and the total supply that can be mined.
Well, as long as the internet is still here, still many people believe and use it, I think bitcoin will still xist.
Maybe you are right but for me, there is a huge chance that Bitcoin will never stop growing. Now that people are started to have some interest, sooner or later the adoption will become bigger and bigger. Because even though not all countries are supporting and legalize Bitcoin but as long as there is support from the community, this still survives.

If we look at the current development of Bitcoin, which has begun to gain the trust of many institutions. It looks like Bitcoin will be around for
a very long time, because even now Bitcoin is still growing and its price is still going up. I agree with you, in the future Bitcoin will be bigger
and there is a possibility that all countries will legalize Bitcoin. I am very optimistic that in the future Bitcoin will still exist and make human life
much better.

It is sad but this is the way it is, it was impossible to expect that this vaccine was going to be developed for 5 years before it was released to the population, this is why if some people oppose to get the vaccine I do not criticize them as the risks are real, this is why we hear stories of people dropping dead a few minutes after they got the vaccine as the vaccine has a higher risk than usual, but that being said as soon as I get the opportunity to get the vaccine I will get it.

I have not read news of people dropping dead after they got a vaccine do you have an article for this, this is scary if this true, some people react negatively to a particular vaccine but not to the point that they are dropping dead, and if this is true the percentage is very low based on their study, so far the vaccination is a huge success even if the virus is mutating.

I haven't found an article that reports that someone died after being injected with the vaccine, if there is, I think there are other factors that caused
the person to die after getting the vaccine. Because before the vaccine is distributed, it will be tested properly, so I have a little doubt that the vaccine
can cause someone to die. It is possible that people who have been injected with the vaccine only feel mild symptoms, and do not cause death.
Until now the injection of vaccines in several countries has proven effective, starting to control the spread of the virus, although it has not been able
to completely remove the virus.
1414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: July 09, 2021, 11:36:15 PM
As long you dont need those funds then you could really wait up for long term since this is one of the factors that could really affect someones decision in terms of their investment.
This is exactly the point where, hdlibg becomes really difficult to some individuals or investors because, there would always be a want or need that would require funds eventually. For this reason, hodling might come easy to some and really difficult to others. Those that might find it easy are those with a lot of leverage as to how much income they've got and the source to it's replenishment. Something most average men lack.
Most individuals sees bitcoin as a get away from poverty, some sort of financial freedom and as such, would continue to reap off ROI after some wholesome investment but then, the market dances on both sides, the world presents some difficulties and they go about searching out funds from their bitcoin investment and bum, your right back where you started. For a poor guy, there is little or no hope.

In the end it really depends on the financial condition of each person, for rich people who have large incomes, Bitcoin holding should not be
a difficult thing to do. Because usually rich people are used to holding assets, such as gold, stock market and real estate. As for poor people
who have limited income, holding Bitcoin is not an easy thing. There are so many sudden needs that require selling the Bitcoin they have,
because the funds of the poor are very limited.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: July 08, 2021, 11:31:05 PM
~
What's stopping you from smoking weeds before visiting a casino or smoking at home and playing online? In my opinion, mixing different pleasures is a dubious idea, especially in this case - gambling gives adrenaline, and smoking weed relaxes. Thus, you will receive not an increase in sensations, but a weakening.
This is an interesting way to view things, if seen from that perspective the only ones that could benefit from this are the ones that are in the casino not to enjoy the adrenaline rush that it gives, so probably the only ones that can take 100% of the benefits offered by this are those that are there to close down a deal with other people or those that are in fact professional gamblers and that are not there to enjoy their time in the casino but to make money and they need to relax.
No matter what the intentions are it would be still on casinos advantage and of course into those players who do really get some perks like this on taking cannabis or having some good time or relaxation.

You can already see on what are the advantage of giving out this kind of allowing cannabis on casino lounges. You know what are the their motives are but of course you would really

still see that people do love it because its rare to see cannabis to be allowed.

We all know the real reason why casinos decided to allow cannabis, because it will reduce the gambler's chance of winning. And this means that
casinos can make more money, but surprisingly many gamblers don't mind it. Because they can enjoy using cannabis, which not all places
allow cannabis. In the end it comes back to everyone's decision, but as long as there is no coercion from the casino to use cannabis I don't think
it's a problem.
1416  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: July 08, 2021, 11:05:26 PM

if you look at the chart, several times bitcoin has formed a pattern of narrowing and widening so that this indicates that the bitcoin price is in a less volatile position, so that with the many controversies that exist over bitcoin, including the chinese government ban on bitcoin mining, it can be said that the market position bitcoin is currently skewed in a bearish position and may take several months to return to the bullish price path.

Maybe not just months but possible to extend that since the bearish directions affects most

newcomers decision making,  there are people who are afraid to push thru, thinking that this momentum

will continue, panic with wrong decision making leads traders to lose their invested money.

Honestly, no one knows how long Bitcoin will be in a down trend situation like this. But we have to believe in the future of Bitcoin, so there's nothing
wrong with being optimistic that the down trend will end in a few months. Even now I still believe that at the end of the year Bitcoin will be able to
reach a price of $100k, that's what gives me confidence to hold Bitcoin until now. For newbies of course will have different thoughts, because they
do not have good experience and knowledge of the crypto market, it is very natural that newbies will panic with the current situation and sell their Bitcoin.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: July 07, 2021, 11:25:02 PM
According to recent news, Paul Ince says that Pogba should sign a 5-year deal or leave Manchester Utd now. It shouldn't be an easy decision to make for Pogba. He had a really great year here. They ended at the 2nd place and they are going to be in the CL in the next season as well. Juventus also want to sign him. If they don't reach an agreement, maybe Juventus can try something.
In my opinion, speculation about Pogba's future has become commonplace nowadays, because in recent years Pogba has been constantly hit by issues related to his move with a number of clubs such as Juventus and Real Madrid, but none of these clubs seem serious about signing Pogba, and this may be due to the expensive transfer fee of Pogba, but this year it looks like PSG will take advantage of Pogba's condition whose contract is about to expire and PSG are very aware that now Pogba is entering the last year of his contract so the selling price of Pogba will automatically go down, And according RMC sport news it seems that Pogba is more interested in continuing his career at PSG, because  PSG is a big club with big ambitions in Europe.

Yeah, actually you've made a good point. PSG are a more serious team compared to Juventus in European tournaments. And they have a stronger squad also. If I were Pogba, I'd definitely prefer PSG to Juventus. It'd be really delightful for him to play beside Mbappe there.

It makes sense why many star players prefer PSG over other big teams, because besides PSG is very ambitious to win the Champions League,
PSG also always offers very high salaries to its players. So it's not surprising that Pogba finally chose to move to PSG instead of Juventus.
Besides, it's nice to be able to play in your own country, then it is very wide open for PSG to get Pogba.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years? on: July 07, 2021, 10:37:25 PM
100 years is a long time. It's hard to say if there even be life on Earth in 100 years. To give you a perspective 100 years from now people were barely able to fly. There was almost no commercial airlines and most of the traveling was done by trains and ships. Now we have electric cars and supersonic jets and millionaires are sending cars into space Cheesy

I feel like there's not going to be a normal currency in 100 years it's all going to be electronic. Fiat money will be dead and you'll be able to see cash in museums. Everybody will use electronic currencies and crypto but will Bitcoin be good enough for that period is hard to say. Bitcoin will probably be what a a steam powered ship would be for us now.

That's right why are we talking about what will happen to Bitcoin in the next 100 years, because we're not all going to live that long. All the possibilities
that you describe where all will use electronics are very likely to occur, because now slowly all things are starting to move into electronics, so especially
the next 100 years it will be much more sophisticated. But what happened to Bitcoin no one knows, I also don't want to think that far. I prefer to think
about things that are not too far away, for example by predicting the price of Bitcoin 3 years into the future, it may be much more realistic.
1419  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should we do in the sideways market of Bitcoin? on: July 06, 2021, 11:24:47 PM
Where you said most of the market’s revenue is completed in short period, I think you should check properly, that’s not how it works. You are even more likely to make bigger profits when you hold for a long time.

Imagine someone that bought their coins in 2015 and continued to hold it till now (2021) do you know how much they have made by now? So long term can possibly get you more than a short term. And of course if you utilize your short term trades rightfully, you can as well make good profit from it. It’s mostly about doing the right things when it is right to do it.
The long term will probably give you a bigger profit. But the problem is how strong your psychology is to hold the coins you invested from 2015 to 2021 and sell them now. Of course, not many will survive. It is very easy to calculate the profit if you hold it until now. Some lucky people even forgot their coins and opened them now.

In theory, it is true that long-term Bitcoin holding can provide large profits, the problem is that many people fail to do it. Because it is difficult to be
patient not to sell the Bitcoin that we have in the long term, especially holding from 2015 to 2021, I'm sure very few people can do that. Although
there is also because the person forgot to have Bitcoin and just remembered now. So it takes practice and strong metal to hold Bitcoin in the long term,
we must look for strong motivation for our Bitcoin holding discipline.

~snip~
Some gambling sites ask KYC when withdrawing and didn't ask for KYC when registering an account.
^ Not only when registering, but it is also included that allows you to deposit your fund which is you had become a headache knowing the fact that it requires KYC so that you can able to withdraw your fund. Sometimes we have a lazy feeling about not ready for the TOS, but for me, even though you are not reading the TOS that is fine, as long as you are reading the FAQ which gives an instant idea and knowledge. This way, we can avoid possible errors in the future and this is also for our own benefit not to have mistakes.

Very good advice, if we are lazy to read the TOS, we can read the FAQ. Because important information related to gambling site rules is usually
in the FAQ. But my advice, if possible, don't be lazy to read the TOS before registering at the gambling sites that we will use, in order to be able
to choose gambling sites that match the criteria we are looking for. Because reading the TOS does not take a long time.
