Why not? bitcoin prices are always unpredictable, as we now touched $500 in a short time. so in 2020 may be 100 bitcoin be a millionaire, if the price above $1000  Bitcoin already reached $1000 highs. Remember how that shit-show turned out ? The fundamentals are not yet there, for Bitcoin to be valued at 1BTC/$10,000USD. I doubt the price would even go to 10.000. It's just to high if you ask me. At best the price may go to 3000/5000k but there are never guarantees. For that matter, it's also possible the price will go back to 1 dollar if some very bad news arrive. So better to be very carefull, it's your money after all All those different ans huge markets Bitcoin can and will have an influence on will make it possible to see a price of $10k/bitcoin. Sure this sounds totally crazy right now, but it also sounded crazy when people said Bitcoin will reach the 1k per coin. Just alone 1% of the actual gold market would push Bitcoin up to 4000+!!! And now think about stocks, real estates, bonds, derivates, foreign remittances and so on. Of course this will take and is no guarantee.But the potential is there!! |

I predict that all cryptocurrencies together, about 2020, can get a market cap of approximately 100-300 billion USD. That estimation is based on the current remittance and electronic commerce markets (where Bitcoin and other cryptos are most useful and can be able to get a good market share) and a relatively linear evolution from now on, without Black swan events (like a "everyday Joe DAO" or a worldwide cryptocurrency ban).
If 100 billion USD were the Bitcoin market cap, that would result in a BTC price of ~6000-8000.
The problem is to predict what percentage of this potential market will be Bitcoin's. Bitcoin has still flaws (mainly scalability, energy consumption, slow confirmations, and price unstability) and there are other cryptocurrencies providing solutions for these problems. So I expect that the cryptocurrency market in 2020 will be more fragmented than the actual one and Bitcoin will lose its monopoly, although I expect it will continue to be one of the leading cryptocurrencies.
So yes, it's possible that you'll be a millionaire then, but it's far from sure.

Why not? bitcoin prices are always unpredictable, as we now touched $500 in a short time. so in 2020 may be 100 bitcoin be a millionaire, if the price above $1000 you need 10k to be millionare if you have 100 btc, and millionaire mean at least 2M right? so you need bitcoin to reach 20k, really hard imho if I have 100 BTC and the price in 2020 was $1000, it can be said that I have become a millionaire in my country. if we wait for bitcoin prices so high it was difficult, so you may need to have more bitcoin. |

Just putting this out there--if you have 100BTC right now and hope for $1000/coin in 2020, then you would have a bit more money by liquidating to USD right now (OK, 90%), then lending on BFX for 4 years.
If a ~100% gain is all you expect in 4 years then there are safer options. June looks like an 8% month easy.

Not entirely parsimonious. I did sell 300 bitcoins back in September 2013 to help buy my house. If I had waited another couple of months I would have been able to buy a few houses outright. So, that is why I'm exercising some patience now.
Ah well, you can't win them all. And if you bought those coins in 2011 or 2012, you've still done very well in any case. |

Atleast we are getting there some what in slow movements. We already broke $540 barrier so seeing the $1k marker will be a huge thing to the hard goal. |

Yes you will be a millionaire by 2020. Just make sure to have at least 900k in your savings accounts/ house or in trading investment. Because no bitcoin will not be worth 10.000 in a matter of 3 years. Don't expect it to be at least, or you will get very dissapointed.

Let us hope that it will keep its price at higher rate, then we can conclude that you will become a millionaire even before 2020. Just keep it growing by investing them to a stable investing company. And do not cease on earning some free bitcoins when you have time. Maybe then, you can be a millionaire on year 2020.

It is possible to be able to reach that if you have 100 Bitcoins but we will just have to wait and see what is going to happen in the next couple of years. If you already have 100 you can safely say that you are going to make allot of money. |
