No any relationship between reach hardcap and successful projects.
There are many factors should be consider when any one plan to invest.

ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?

This is so true and thanks for pointing it out. People/investors nowadays can easily get starstruck with a project that possibly has a big team member but at the same time, not understanding what the project is all about and if their roadmap is achievable or not. One of the awesome things I read recently was this project that distributed complicated hardware that is designed to benefit companies using blockchain, for free. I love startups that are aiming to take blockchain to the next level and get adoption rising. Someone reaching their hardcap/softcap is indeed a good sign but like what others are saying, DYOR.

If they are limited in concept and do not have clear references, then how is it possible that they are going to reach hard cap, investors are wiser now, they will not invest on an ICO that lacks concept and references when there are a lot of ICO to choose from.

Even IEO s no guarantee that the project will succeed. But at least chance of it are bigger.
Dev team is a main thing, not a hardcap

They may not guarantee success but the best ICO out there that reached their Hardcap, become so much popular that even now they still alive. but if there is no development from the team, there will be no guaranteed success as you said. The successful project came only from an enthusiast team.

Most times the team get carried away with funds appropriation. What determines a projects success is the dedication and team work displayed by the project team members and community.
You are right, achieving hardcap doesn't really guarantee success if the Team is not upto the task. Team members should be dedicated and focused with the project.

thats right. reach hardcap not guarantee the project will success or the project still grow for some time. but hunter like if they reach it for some reason. it have high percentage to pay your hardwork and it have high salary.
what make they grow is team, how they bring and show their product to still evolve. and it doesnt matter if it reach soft or hardcap.

i also think like that, what is important is how the development team brought the project to success and many people were interested in buying their tokens.
but it all starts from the project reaching soft or hardcap after that depends on how the development team works to continue to advance the project and keep all their promises.
