ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?

Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Most projects that reach the hardcap in the future do not guarantee that they will grow or even the price of the coins will decline. But there are also those who reach the hardcap and the project is indeed developing. So it all seems to depend on the project how to respond to the future by reaching hardcap.

I have even seen the projects that have raised huge funds in the ico and then the team work to develop the platform or website for several months and also comes up with the product but the platform still struggles to attract customers and business and also tells on the value of their token so yes their is no guarantee and even an outstanding idea and project can fail.

there is just a few ICO that reach hard cap and price of the coin/token steadily increase
but as you stated above that there are many projects that don't launch an ICO/Premine still has  a good value like Nano(Formerly XRB)

although it does not guarantee that it is successful, it has a huge potential for success, because it has become a matter that needs to be handled by the developer of a project, and how experienced they are in managing the fund to make the ICO successful. that's why it's important to choose a professional team.

I also agree with you, there are some ICO that have reached hardcap but after list coin in market they have very cheap prices and their products are not released soon, I don't know that team works slowly or indeed they don't use well-collected funds

Reaching hard cap is one of the many achievements that a project want to reach but this isn't an indicator that whole project itself can be said as a successful project.

That's just the beginning of the project and they are funded properly because they have made it to the hard cap. The success of an ICO can be determined on how they are making with the progress through their promised road map.

You are very right
Projects hitting softcap and hardcap are not only lazy
But they joke around with the earned money

Look around; projects that are self funded strive positively in exchange listing and even in their development

I see some projects never got listed into any exchanges even after reaching their hard cap values in 2018,so the success depends on how the team work after making profits from the sale,if they just here to make profits then people who invested on those projects will be losers.

Reaching hardcap does not mean that ICO will be successful. Even after several projects reached hardcap, the price fell like others. The team should be experienced. Because it is not easy to survive in the present situation.

all these ICOs are doing is that they keep changing trivial things to seem different otherwise they are still doomed to fail because they have no usages. they don't change what matters which is utilities and innovation, they keep on changing caps, name from ICO to IEO, hype, even change platfrom from ethereum to other platforms but in the end they get dumped just the same.

Its just a shame to almost all ICO projects ,they make the 'fund' look like the only thing they needed to make the project a success one but they fail, I wonder how coins with no ICO are successful without funds

Yes, hardcap does not mean that the project will be successful. But then the failure of the project team will be revealed. So it is not only the project, the team that runs the project must be selected well.

I agree with your opinion but speaking of successful projects, i think reaching hard cap and soft cap is the first step that the project would be successful, especially reaching hard cap projects, i think the price of the tokens behind their project would be good but not totally good in long time holdings.

there is no guarantee for any project to be succes, even a project reach the hard cap
because now a lot of competitors in the market,
anyway a project without ICO or premine can be a good choice, because from the beginning the dev team use their own money to create their project

In anyhow there's no such words as guarantee inside this industry, there's a lots of projects which we can see every now and then, with high competitions inside even those who comes up from ico's who reached both soft and hard cap still not an assurance to succeed, will still lean with how the usage will be acquired by end users, In regards to your opinion about project who used own resources, I can agree that they can be solid and a good one to check.

I know about many coins that reached hard-cap even they were scam. For example Envion.
There are many coins that reached hard-cap, they are successful but the price didn´t reach ICO price because all potentional investors invested in ICO phase, but there are no other investors and price is going slowly down.

It is true that if the ICO is achieved the hard cap, that doesn't mean the project will go longer or the whole investors will get a better unbelieveable reward in the future. I know one project named as Bunny Token I invested there and still in very unmind situation. I had invested some $500, but now the whole value is only $0.75. So, while invest be sure the project is very sure and challenging in the long run.

I think that now nothing at all can give any guarantees of the project’s success. even if IEO is on a large exchange, the project may die in half a year

In my opinion, hardcap an ICO becomes a benchmark if the project is successful. indeed the location of the success of a project is not only based on the ICO hardcap, but there are still other factors that determine a project will succeed.
