Actually to be honest, $100 is impossible now to happen since we are in thousands already and still increasing its value, anyway who will gonna sell her or his coin in just $100 if it is in thousands value? I guess no one, right?

If that case will happen that $100//btc for sure the value of bitcoin crashed down already.

Indeed, Bitcoin was already leveled up and moved almost to the price value that we are waiting to be happen.  So instead of waiting it to drop in 100$ which its too impossible to be happen much better to buy now because to taking off now going to 2000$ or more.

I don't think it's possible now because bitcoin has broken his all the records it made in past and now it's value is very high also i don't think it will go below 400$ this year or next one.

Even on $600 price point I don't believe that bitcoin would drop to that area and you are right it already breaks it's ath and now we are seeing somehow a new floor on bitcoins price and I hope this increase would continue even more.

To be frank, No I'm not waiting for it. Because I believed where on the road for take off, 100$ is far beyond at 1192$, don't kidding me. Because this time most of the member now are really saving bitcoins to their bitcoin wallet storage.

As we move further and more newbies find their to the world of Bitcoin, this $100 price point is petty much unknown to them as they haven't even seen the price sit below $400-$500.

$100 for them will be nothing more than a fantasy they can't imagine to become reality. Even those that have been here at the time the price was hovering around $100 don't believe it will ever return to such prices.

Yes It is impossible to be happen as long as people still loyal with bitcoin. even so many people do panic selling, the price of bitcoin will not drop reach $100, a lot of  people that come to cryptocurrency world will reduce the impact of it. We know that the demand of bitcoin is increasing right now.

Yes It is impossible to be happen as long as people still loyal with bitcoin. even so many people do panic selling, the price of bitcoin will not drop reach $100, a lot of  people that come to cryptocurrency world will reduce the impact of it. We know that the demand of bitcoin is increasing right now.

The price is not increasing because of manipulation, if we look at the blockchain now, we will see a substantial increase of transactions and that transactions is backing the increase of bitcoin. As it continues to rise its value the more our confidence will stay with bitcoin and with this current situation, only when there is a very big crisis that we feel we will not win will the price will fall back to $100 and I don't think if that will happen, bitcoin is still worth buying.

I am agree with you. I really doubt that bitcoin will fall so low ever again. So if you haven't money to buy bitcoin with it's current price, better to put on side some part of bitcoins that you earn.

Hey look the date its 2015 the price of bitcoin of that year is around $200-$400 correct me if I'm wrong so if OP create this thread in march 2015 and he said he wait the price of bitcoin to dump at $100 it very possible to happen on that year. But now I think it will not happen because the bitcoin price is around $1200 and continuously rising everyday, ever week and every month. I think it will be possible to dump $1000 per bitcoin I hope don't happen . but if happen this bitcoin price dump we have opportunity to buy bitcoin at the low price.

This thread should have been close a long time ago and with the expected approval of ETF coming soon the price is reaching new heights and you can only dream for a price below $700 and the price would reach new destinations pretty soon and i expect the best for my investment.

It is difficult to conclude that Current price swing has been caused by ETP approval. And its disapproval may bring btc to 900$. For those who are positive about the ETF approval should know that ETF has disapproved BTC thrice. And rejection was not based on price swing but the overall security concerned with BTC.  I'm not sure how much drop will happen after rejection.

Buying Bitcoin is similar to investing in shares. One need right mind framework, heart big enough to sustain losses. In latest press conference, Indian Bitcoin company Zebpay said-
"Only invest in Bitcoin, what you could bare."
Instability in Bitcoin price, better known as volatility cannot allow any favourable buying or selling price. Maybe $900 can be too high to buy, maybe next day to low to sell !!

We are in 2017 and within the first two months the price of bitcoins is 1000$ or more. So there is no chance, not even a 1% chance that bitcoin can be valued at 100$. I think this topic should be locked as 100$ bitcoin price only seems a joke now.

This is still open because the discussion is still relevant here, the price may rise and fall but the thing to consider is on why the price move that way. By reading in the past members comments, you can get information about their opinion why the price will go back to that level or will not.
Since you are a newbie, keep educating yourself and you will learn more in no time.
