Extra luck on the BitClockers mining pool as average shares per block is: "466,470."

Not as good as Swepool's luck yesterday Cheesy
192030, 4211, and 270744 shares per block yesterday at 30 GH/s Cheesy
Man, I made 4 BTC.

Anyways...

We've hit 100 GHashes!

A Block Monitor is now available in our IRC chat channel. BitBot will announce all blocks found by the pool to the channel. The bot currently reports the block number, amount of shares, time, and miner who found the block.

Come join us at #bitclockers @ freenode.net

I don't think instant payout is currently working, I clicked it and I haven't received anything in my bitcoin wallet.

I just did a test payment and everything seems to be in order. Are you sure you've been mining long enough for a block to be found? You wont get a payout until a block is found, your payout is based on your percentage of work on that block. Visit the Support Forums and post if this is not the case and one of the admins will gladly reconcile your account.

The website and database are now 100% migrated to the cloud! The site is now silly fast and protected from most DDoS and injection attacks Cheesy

KEEP IN MIND: As always you should use pool.bitclockers.com to connect with your miners. Just using bitclockers.com will point your miner nowhere. pool.bitclockers.com will automatically put your miner on the fastest server available to you.

Web server will be down for another hour or so. In the mean time, you can still get live stats from the IRC channel #bitclockers on freenode.net

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I've already earned a heavy 0.30BTC. This website does pay, and is very polite and helpful when in need.

Happy mining Cheesy

The web servers were down from 6:20am to 10:00am my time.   We managed to crack a 3million share block and the sheer amount of data caused problems with one of our database triggers. This broke replication between the database cluster servers.

In other words, the site choked on the giant block. We found the problem and now everything is fixed and shouldn't happen again Cheesy

Some updates to report:
  • New data points have been added to the API.
  • Graphs have been added to the dashboard; see how you stack up against the pool.
  • Our friendly IRC bot has received new brain matter; new commands are now available.

Hey Guys,

Are you sure your statistics are correct?

Code:
Current Round Started: Mon, Jun 20th, 11:37:29 am
Current Round Duration: 23 hours
Current Round Shares: 1,211,172

23 hours to do 1.2M shares doesn't seem to be 92.3GH/sec like it says on your site?

I would estimate more like 50GH/sec ?

Thanks for the heads up. We had a large drop in hashrate during the preceding block from hell (impatient people). But just in case, I rechecked the top left "live stats" code for any problems and setup a low weight on users with low hash counts (under 50mhash). Because workers with slower hardware may only end up only submitting a share once or twice during the 10min average period. This would sometimes cause their hash rate to be higher than it should be. This change should cut down the global hash rate variance and get us to a closer MH/s estimation.
Keep in mind, hashrates on any pool, are at best, a guess and can vary greatly. Always use shares over time as a metric of performance.

Also keep in mind that payouts etc... are only based on shares. MH/s is purely for entertainment Smiley
