But then I feel bad for the invested bitcoin well honestly they will need the luck even if MPOE doesn't want it : I guess you were watching thestringpuller convo haha
I think they deserve to lose them. If someone invests in an asshole, he is supporting that asshole... he's a bit of an asshole himself.

Somehow related to the Ministry of Gaming Bullshit?
Well its on the passthrus as the S.Dice replacement so best of luck To someone with that attitude, so incredibly arrogant and ignorant, trying to get into an industry he doesn't even try to understand, assuming he'll just be successful and everyone else is an idiot and will bow to him... no, I really do not with him best of luck. I'd rather see him plagued by the doom he deserves. You're setting yourself up for a very butthurty ride there, fella.

An so it draws to a close.
No comment on the suspicious activity of fund siphoning through arbitrary costs. No comment on the the bet pool situation. No comment on Eriks deceitful actions, defending the high costs/low income months by saying that the yearly ROI average is statistically going to be positive... Not when you force a sell off.
Erik you actions in the last 5 months have been atrocious. It seems obvious that this was your original plan - To milk what could be milked, fill investors with false promises of progress that you never once gave an inkling to what that progress was then leaving the husk of SatoshiDice, a company that had the potential to grow so much further if only it wasn't managed by your negligent hands.
No scams, just some pretty pathetic throws you've pulled on all of us. You're bad for Bitcoin you greedy twat.

Show me what did you do for bitcoin? Where are the thousands of investors, gamblers and crypto anarchists you inspired and gave something to? Show me your insightful blog posts. I don't know you and maybe I don't know Erik neither but if I had the chance I would want to do business with him, not with you.

cross posting this here too as I like people to know my view He is doing that to prevent some angry shareholder from coming after him, no real choice. I wouldn't say investors were treated fairly though. Pretty much every one of them comes out having wasted their time and money. Vorhees is the only one who benefitted from this endeavor.
Not true. From an investor's point of view I do not think it is very reasonable to use the BTC as numeraire due to its lack of capital pools and incredible volatility. Pretty much anyone who bought between April 2012 and March 2013 who have held for the long-term have had tremendous returns using the USD as numeraire. It's not all great though. People that bought in March 2013 have payed around 40 million USD for the company, while it was only sold for 30 million USD (mpex shares) when it was announced. That's a loss of -30% in just a few months. It must hurt even more for those that sold their shares for market price the past months. You can't hardly blame them not to hold for the long term since Erik showed signs of serious neglect towards the business and turnover (in USD) was stagnating and even taking a serious nosedive this month of July. They sold mostly around 20 million USD, taking a loss of -50% in USD from the high in March and a loss of -33% compared to the price payed today. Considering around 5 millions shares have been sold in the month right before the buyout the above category of people who have USD loss is likely larger than presented here. Even though Erik negotiated a very good price for mpex holders, this company had much more potential.

I also want to apologize to all the people that made arguments about Erik needing to do more work on the website. I dismissed it here saying that USD turnover was stable even without whales and once the whales came back the growth would be here again. I also said that no changes to the website needed to be done.
However seeing the success of the new just-dice I now realize this neglect of Erik and lack of improvements to the website likely caused the website to stop growing in USD turnover since February 2013 and even imploding in the last month of July.
The mpex price was good, but only because the company was doing poor.

Why do you guys think there was a "mysterious investor" who bought the shares? Negotiated a fair price? LOL! He was probably laughing is ass off when he realized he can get rid of all the shareholders by just returning them what they paid.
You gave Eric about 35 000 BTC in IPO (to run a website, that needed <7K as bankroll and less that 100 USD per month for a ISP) I am sure, many of you wasted loads of coin on S.DICE because you felt you are the lucky shareholder of something grand and it will make you rich and beautiful. SDICE made about 74 000 BTC and paid you 10% of it as dividends. Not bad at all. Eric got sick of sharing that cash cow with you and bought back the shares at 35000 BTC.
All he told you is: "So long and thanks for all the coin"

It was trading in the 20s or below. You're retarded. According to the MPEX Agreement, MPEX holders are entitled to receive 0.00126315 BTC per share, alongside other private owners. However, for the good of the MPEX holders and for the sake of the general Bitcoin community, which the site always has intended to support and nurture, SatoshiDice has arranged to pay MPEX holders an additional .00223685 BTC per share bringing the total to 0.0035 BTC per share. Adios shitbird. And please, stay stupid.

You should check the thread for the pass-through. Operator is on holiday at moment and said he'd sort it out when he gets back at end of the month. Same for the one he operates on BTC-TC. There's a risk he's going to try to claim it was a dividend and take a part of it (unfortunately it was settled as a dividend on MPEx despite not being one) so if you can sell at or near .0035 per share it may be better to sell now. Think all other pass-throughs have now paid out in full (mine on LTC-Global, namworld's on BTC-TC and the Havelock one).

Not disclosing the buyer is really hurting the credibility of this whole thing.
I guess, after all, this is not that first good exit we're all waiting as a btc success story.
