Hi guys,

I've just submitted a bet that S.DICE will not survive until the next New Year ( http://betsofbitco.in/item?id=1535 ) , thought some of you might also be interested in betting on that.

EDIT: the bet is not available before it gets approved by the admins. I still think it is ethical to post the link right away.

Unexpected things happen all the time. Answering the question directly, no, I have no particular reason to believe such a thing. On the other hand, if you are completely certain that S.DICE will survive, bet and take the easy
coins!

It's up, but I don't think bets are going through..and haven't been for the past few days. I wonder how this will effect their bottom line this month...I imagine I'll find some cheap shares on some of the passthroughs as the end of the month approaches

Bets are going through, as evidenced by dooglus' script... and in the last day their profits went from 2100~BTC to 2900~BTC.
Please get facts straight before posting things like this.

Or you could check the latest block at Blockexplorer and notice that there are lots of Satoshidice addresses.

And this inexcusable oversight just caused the share values to tank even further.  Maybe he sold all though shares at below then-market value a month or two ago because he had no intention of continuing the site and wanted to cash out.  

He is either a villain or incompetent, but either way, the shareholders suffer.  First the the flood of low priced shares, then the tiny dividend, now this.  My 48 bitcoins have turned into 11, 13 including the dividend payments.

What he means to say is that you don't need the website to make bets on SDICE. There are still transactions being processed on the 1dice addresses.
