Why does MPEX not have the funds? Are they doing a Mt. Gox ponzi?
Don't worry about it, I'm sure you'll see the money in "3 weeks."

Sorry if it's a newb question, I don't use bitfunder a ton. Now that the PT shares are paid out, is there a way to get it removed from the 'my assets' listing? Still showing for me.

I think Ukyo needs to remove the listing for the shares to disappear. I created an account with a throwaway email address and transferred the shares to that account so it doesn't affect the value estimate in My Assets. The account is somestranger_sdice if you want to use that to get rid of them.

It's a shame Erik's real character will never be revealed, and no one will ever fully understand the extent that Erik has actually helped Bitcoin & the overall efforts of liberalizing our economy.
As he always said, SD was simply a side project. A small cog in his overall scheme.

Can you elaborate on this? Didn't people who bough shares in SatoshiDice in 2012 made a lot of money? I wonder how much has been bet on SD since it launched, there is hundreds of BTC bet everyday so it must be in the millions. SD owners took 1.9% of that

Bitcoin Price Appreciation Was Significantly Greater than BTC IPO price simply put I'm talking about the 90 to 250 rise not even the more recent one from 250 to 1000 to the 600 now Long explanation a BuyBack was issued and a pool of capital IPO investors didn't know about existed affected valuation dividend payouts, US gambling ban etc bunch of factors can't recall them all. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101902.msg2458656#msg2458656I guess the SEC is a bit about Sdice sort of being a mixing service back then or some insider trading before the asset closed anyways to the graveyard again with this thread. The story can be read from 98 Really so if you feel like skimming just check a few pages start around page 70 for the long one lol. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101902.msg2751536#msg2751536
