Government wont really need to legalize bitcoin because is decentralized and people who uses the bitcoin are its government and it depends on the user to user what ever they want with bitcoin.

Regulations are necessary at least exchanges must be regulated because they can steal money and run away, we had this example many times before. That is why we need protection. That cannot harm Bitcoin can only bring more people who are insecure. Maybe this can trigger mass adoption.

The companies who are in bitcoin can be regulated by the government and that is why they required KYC just like coinbase is doing.
With this users in coinbase will be not anonymous anymore.

this actually against the nature of bitcoin yeah the pseudoanonymous [not anonymous] it's clearly that government will not accept bitcoin officially as their currency, but nowdays people still using bitcoin and trade them as like stock, yup gold, silver and so on

Make bitcoin not being legalized at some countries just will opend the black market with people making fortunes into bitcoin ,the same way as happens at dollars at Argentina the goverment tryed to control but the outside market reacted on the same moment.

Argentina does not represent the typical government, but yes, it does show that a government's efforts at limiting bitcoin will fail.

Banning bitcoin will just really result in fail as the government cant really track their citizens constantly and people wont even allow that they are being tracked.

I think it's only natural if the government did that certainly the government will protect their citizens and their currency of bitcoin. because bitcoin has the potential to become a popular currency and replace their currency
so it is natural that the government banned the use of bitcoin in the country

Government wont really need to legalize bitcoin because is decentralized and people who uses the bitcoin are its government and it depends on the user to user what ever they want with bitcoin.

Well legalizing of bitcoin would surely create some negativity in the usage of bitcoin, as the government will try to have control and make transactions possible only through their assigned networks.

but in general i think they are going to eventually regulate bitcoin, even if they don't agree with it completely they can't stop the financial revolution from happening so they will get on board eventually.

If the world goes digital in the coming years, the government won't still adopt bitcoin...They have no control in it which I think could give government reason not to adopt it.. Maybe government would try to duplicate bitcoin's technology only that it will be centralized and under the control of the state..

Actually if bitcoin and goverment can cooperate together , bitcoin mobility will increase as it will affect on global transaction which make profit for some company. Let say if fast food restaurant or hotel accept bitcoin as legal currency. Goverment can also charge their tax for income that can make country keep growing and develop !

They are not letting bitcoin as it is, the fact is that most country is not aware of bitcoin yet therefore they seems to make it looks like that they let it go without any proper guidance or rules on it however it is not like that. The thing is, there will never be co-operation between the government and Bitcoin. As long as they can't control it, there is no way they will start accepting it as something that the government recognizes. If you can think of anything that the government doesn't have control of, let me know, because they have the power to take away anything you own. With Bitcoin, it can be hidden and protected by yourself and made impossible to be controlled.

It sounds a bit surreal that some one can go to prison for something simple as using Bitcoin. This says a lot about the countries that put these policies to action. Criminals get less punishment in many cases. It's insane.

But we still need some order here, and we all risking greatly when we sending our precious coins to non regulated exchanges, and this must be changed. I don't know how but we must find some solutions. Or we are going to be GOXed every year, every month..

Using bitcoin is not dangerous if you're wise and you don't doing anything illegal especially on darknet.
 And i think nobody will trace you if you don't turning to much money, and making noise about it.

I think there are 3 ways the government can deal with Bitcoin. The 1st way is that they could legalize it and the exchanges would need to buy licenses. The 2nd way is they would just not deal with it and let it run without control (like it's now for most of the countries). And the 3rd way is to ban it outright (like in Russia). I would prefer the 2nd and then the 1st one 

Stop spreading disinformation. Bitcoin in Russia is not banned, neither explicitly nor implicitly. There are a few drafts that aim to get there, but if enacted, they would have quite an opposite effect (given the positive attitude toward Bitcoin at the international level)

there are thousands ofpeople who have millions of dollars in my country and for that they do not pay any tax, and they are still living with freedom, so for bitcoin it will also be the same, only that money is charged for tax, which the government see in rugalation.
