Simple guide on how to create a masternode:

Start your 8BIT wallet
Send exactly 112 8BITS to an address in your wallet

Go to Help/Debug/Console
type the following and hit Enter:

Copy the result and place that in the 8bit.conf file below:

The new fork is prevailing now. And your Masternode payments should increase today.
We had a few old wallets staking and that is no longer the case. So your node payments will go
up as the chain moves forward. I tried not to fork out the old wallets and let people update
on their own pace, but that was a miscalculation, as we had more old wallets staking than new ones.
Anyhow, we are now beyond that point and new chain is now king.

I updated new wallets with checkpoints yesterday and if you have not done so yet, please update.
The orphans problem should subside completely today. Do not calculate your Masternode profits yet,
wait one more day and it should give you a better picture of how much return on principle will be.

Is it possible to stake with the same wallet as the MN is in by using reservebalance true 112 and make change your conf file to staking =1.

maybe you should point out better, what the benefits of staking are..

for me it is unclear, how much the users will get..
the first blocks were 8% annually..

now it is 0,32 8BIT/Block * 1350 Blocks/Day * 365 days = 157680 8BIT/year

old coins are ca 102000 8BIT

so if we look at that today, we have something like 153% yearly instead of 8% yearly..

or we could say 0,4% per day...

if 50% of the coins do not stake at all ( exchanges, matsernodes ), the personal profit will furthermore be doubled!

( but just for now.. the real number will be less, as in one year we will also have 433620 coins for masternodes.. so it will fall to 22% annually in one year.. still not bad! )
