No problem syncing here.  However this morning when I looked my balance was showing zero, yet I was staking. 

Perhaps something going on due to the wallet update?

Okcash had a strong come back and I must say the price got boosted a lot. I saw this coin struggling at 1300 sats and now it is 19000+. Thats a huge leap. I hope it maintains it's value and that the dev and admin continues to do new things for future development of this coin.

Hi everybody, here another member of the OK Cash big family.

I have an issue with the wallet aswell, but it was my fault, can´t remembrer the password (no coins inside, luckily).

I´ve tried to delete the client and reinstall, but it keeps asking me for a password.

Any help? Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the Fam, if you want to start a new "wallet.dat" file you will need to:

1.- Close your Okcash Wallet, Open windows start menu, and in the search box type:  %appdata%
2.- Click on the folder, then click on the "roaming" folder, then on the "okcash" folder.
3.- In that folder you will find a "wallet.dat" file (which holds all those private keys and is password encrypted as you say)
4.- rename that wallet.dat file to something else like old-wallet-lock.dat.bkp, so next time you open your Okcash Wallet, it will create a completely new "wallet.dat" with no password unless you set it. Cheers.

* Always save a copy of your important passwords in a secure place to prevent this issues, lucky you had no coins in there

OK has really proven to be a coin worth investing in for the future, I wouldnt be so surprised if in 2 years from now I wake up and found OK at 300 usd per coin, this is why am gonna keep investing in OK cash as am getting money

these last two post are great examples of over exuberant shilling during a pump, the coin has had a nice run and is up over 3300% since May!!!

the first post seems to think that in 2 years it will go up another 43,300%

and the second is asking if it will go up another 1349%

both highly unlikely, if your a newcomer realize that now is not a good time to buy despite the coin being a good one, wait for the price to correct first

Take ethereum as an example, I first knew about ether when it was below 10 usd, I thought it was too late to buy, so I never bothered buying even one or trading it (I was new to crypto then thou) I watched ether go up and down and before I know it, ether was 18 usd, I was still thinking it's to late to buy and few days later, it was above 50 usd and so on until it go to over 200 usd before I realized how stupid I have been

Been trading since 2013, have ridden most of the recent runs on various coins where there was a multi-wave type pump....

This project, and the recent moves I've read about (just got on board yesterday and dropped 3btc into it after seeing what's about to happen in the next few weeks), gives me a 'antshares to neo esque' feel, and a bit of an OMG feel when they were both below $1. The amount of coins is in the sweet spot, under 100M but above 50M (which in my opinion are the coins that have the biggest breakouts, too many coins isn't good, too little isn't either - just speaking from a profit potential POV sans tech or roadmaps/goals).

Nothing is easy to predict in crypto other than to say most of the top 20-50 will continue to rise, it's just when do you switch lanes to rise faster vs buying high and selling low on panics or watching crazy pumps but being emotionally tied to your coin so you avoid other opps..

Well, I think this has the potential to (continue to) go on a rather insane run considering the sequence of events about to take place this month so seeing it double/triple/etc. from here is not that far fetched imo. $3-5 by the end of the month might sound silly however so did a lot of other predictions which were either met or greatly surpassed, so I'm seeing this as a rather easy triple bagger at minimum from here in the near.

The great thing about POS coins like OKCash while it's booming is we're all getting raises!

But seriously, I'm sure the whales are all licking their chops figuring out how much their OKCash stash is now worth if they cashed out, but I doubt they want to give up the income.

I did some math for fun. Imagine you have a million OK and for the next 6 months you're making roughly 6 grand a month (USD) by staking (at current prices anyway), and then 3 grand a month for the next year after. Even the next 5 years after that is a nice little side income if you've got a sizable stack.

I guess my point is it's probably unlikely we'll be seeing some of these larger wallets start dumping just because the price is moving in on a dollar. Makes much more sense to hold longer term and earn, and perhaps even load up a bit more over time.
