did you know that since january 1st bitcoin price multiplied by 4.19 and OKCash price by 8.32

1 BTC was 1025 USD
1 OK was 0.0077 USD

right now 1 BTC = 4300 USD =     x 4.19 multiplier
right now 1 OK  = 0.064 USD=      x 8.31 multiplier

By the way, what programming language is OKCash? I scanned the first page of the ANN but didn't find it. If someone wanted to learn how to tinker with it, what would be the best language to try and learn? I've seen on other coins websites they give curl commands or other test commands that users could try to test or interact with the network. Is there anything like that documented for OKCash? Anything for us regular non-programmers to play with to pretend we know what we're doing... 

If you look at the source code on https://github.com/okcashpro/okcash you can see that it's written in C++

Thanks shbour. This may sound dumb, but where do you see it on GitHub? I took a look just out of curiosity, opened a couple random files, and didn't see where it says it. I'm probably looking right at it because I'm unfamiliar with GitHub, so feel free to chuckle at my expense if it's obvious and I'm still missing it.

Awesome job on the new site/focus OKCash collabs.

I stumbled across something recently that made me think of OKCash. Awhile back when I was mentioning how little interest I had in the Discord aspect of the community (no offense, it obviously is working great for so many, just not my thing), I mentioned coming up with ideas on mass adoption. I think I found something very similar to what I had in mind...an instant messaging app with an integrated wallet that you can assign contacts to in order to pay, or tip, or trade, etc. If anyone is interested, it's https://my-echo.com. Seems pretty cool and I love the underlying idea even though there's parts of it I don't like.

I've heard others mention AntShares/NEO may have something in the works with the WeChat app too, but I can't say that with any certainty, just repeating what others have said. I imagine if you could integrate any coin into a popular app, or one that becomes super popular and adopted widely, it would be an incredible boon to the coins use and popularity.

I think I've read somewhere here that OKCash is working on integrating into games which sounds awesome too. Same frame of mind. Just wanted to throw out the idea, that's all. Always looking at interesting ways to make OKCash more popular. 

We have one, althought not very popular, telegram group as well. It has an OK bot in it as well just like in discord. I will personally look into the app whhenever I get some free time and we might add another OK group there for those interested.

That my-echo thing wasn't a place where you can build a community like Discord, Telegram, etc. (at least I don't think) The reason it made me think of OkCash was because I read it was open source and I was just playing armchair programmer, that's all. hehe

It looked like a cool idea to integrate OKCash into and kind of make it an OKCash branded app or whatever, but it looks like Kik is already doing something similar with Kin. https://kin.kik.com/ I was just thinking of ideas to build the OkCash user base even bigger. Adding and growing communities on other services is great, but having your own app or service is even better, or that's how my mind seems to work anyway.

I wanted to report that for a while now, my wallet (lastest version) is continuously syncing
and constantly telling that I have no mature coins (which is simply impossible because
I have them in my wallet for almost one year)

I realize that at first, I was staking every few days (shortly after installing the wallet),
then nothing for 8 months, then one large staking reward.... and since then (mid-june),
nothing and as I was telling now wallet continuously syncing.

Also, one detail is that even if the "open at starting of the system" is checked,
the wallet does not open when my system is starting (once in a while, I am
rebooting my machine).

Is that a behavior you are familiar with for OK cash wallet?

This thread is for updates only, for support you require to use the provided channels, where the OK collaborators, community, and voluntaries can help sort problems out, OK is an opensource project created and supported by the community, collaborators and voluntaries, nobody owns or controls OK, is not a company. (btw Forum link is alive and with no problems whatsoever, don't even know what you are talking about )

If you feel and express yourself that way, and are not able to read and follow simple instructions, then maybe this is not the best community for you, cheers.
