Are there any recommendations for coin stack sizes to optimize stakes? Recommended stack size or just let it keep splittling the blocks down with every stake ?

Few pages back we had this discussion, I'll try to remember ...

From memory, blocks over 2000 coins stake fairly quickly, below that was getting slow. I'd say closer to 3000 now.

With OK staking in 8 hours, the bigger the better is the key. One could send whole wallet to yourself and re-block everything and let it run for few weeks and do it again. Personally, I block up manually when I do other PoS coins .. every 2-3 weeks really. I like 100k blocks as they last a couple of months until they get small again.

Hum, I should not be aware of some strategies to optimize stacking....

Could you explain what you mean about sending coins to yourself for optiziation?

Is it valuable for every coin or does it depends of the coin and the stacking process designed?

I am stacking a good number of coins now, and I don't know about ways to improve the stacking process... ;-)

To send coins to yourself: -works for all PoS coins -

Get your address from the wallet and literarily send all the coins to that address, ie send to yourself.

Works the same for re-blocking: Only difference is manually selecting coins from the Coin Control button and picking which pieces you want to block up.
-- in this case, you want to sort by size or by confirmations.

Size matters: small blocks take longer to stake as they compete with other blocks for "mining power".
-- If you think of every block in your wallet as a mining rig, the bigger the block in size the more powerful the rig, to a point. You are more likely to find a stake with a larger block but it will be smaller in size due to time spent staking.
-- Longer stake generates more coins per stake.
-- In theory you should get the same amount of coins over a longer period like 3-6 months whether you use small or large blocks. However, if blocks are too small they might take months to stake.

A few days ago I commented to the operator of the OKcash youtube Channel and asked about creative commons licences for their videos   (if you didn't know we had a youtube channel I'll leave a link.) I have Just under 3000 subs on my main channel, and I have as I suggest you all do mirror the videos from OKcash youtube (with permissions of course and credit to original artists / channel )  Now they are all set to creative commons, You will find a "REMIX" button in the description ... click that and follow the editor to mirror it to your own channel.

OKCASH CHANNEL https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5BCYmlBtPZiC7NNv-a5gfA

My Channel is https://www.youtube.com/c/desertexperimenter and as you can see there is some positive feedback already and a handful of views, I also am happy to talk it over with my subs as you can see one thinking we are just a BTC clone, I explained how far from a BTC clone we really are Smiley

I hope any of you with a good number of subs will use the opportunity to strengthen our coin, I have little to no skills to add to the Dev of the coin but I can do my part... and so can you, simple things, reports of social media content to reposting videos Smiley

Thanks all for making a great community and an awesome coin with such innovation Cheesy

side note I have a very good Bulgarian translator if a Bulgarian website is of any use we cannot code a website, but he can translate the text... Is that of any use to the community ?

Hello OK Community,

I wanted to get back into the OKCash scene and I can't remember where exactly I read that this coin went back to the 69% POS Return... No better place to ask than here! So is this true?

Dammit OKtoshi ... how do you find like the only cat picture I have never seen?  Grin

New Ann page is looking better than old one. I was showing OK Ann to my new potential devs and mentioned, "it's gotten a bit unruly now, but it's one of the best OP" and days later ... lo and behold, spruced up page. Smiley

Perfect! all the OK community will get benefited of it, same as the new users that get to know and use OK, we had some issues while converting them to CC, hence why we had to change some of the background music in some of them, so now they are all creative commons and everyone is able to reshare and reupload as they are yours.

Thanks to you for the great support and kind words, we work hard for that goal!

Thanks also for the offer of translation, while the language has not been requested, we are all in for giving users options and more users the chance to get to know and interact with OK,
so it would be nice to add a new language to the supported ones for the website, come join https://discord.gg/grvpc8c  so we can talk more about it and work on it.
