Seems there is big changes happening with energy efficiency and distribution, I have heard of big drops in cost of Solar power before but not to this extent.  It could be a game changer for long standing arrangements and ways of providing power especially in areas a bit more isolated then major cities I think.

Hi ENRG people,

We have the install procedure for RPI ready!
Steps I made:
1 Create txt file and copy pase the script code into that file.

Code:

wget --no-check-certificate https://www.dropbox.com/sh/mnibp0vrqdaw528/AAAs1E2tyGLem9gu12IdNYJTa/UbuntuMate.sh -O UbuntuMate.sh; chmod +x UbuntuMate.sh; ./UbuntuMate.sh

2 Put the txt with script on an USB
3 Put the USB into your RPI
4 Open file manager and start Terminal
5 Open Pluma editor
6 Goto USB with file manager and drop the txt with script into pluma editor
7 Copy the script line and paste into Terminal see picture

8 You have to give your passw in the script
9 add swap -> yes
10 remove old blockchain <return>
11 wait for download and Unzip
12 ready and klick old EnergyCoin icon and then you see after 15-20 minutes your wallet:


I shall also try a fresh insetall but priority is that all users are using v1.6 blockchain before the fork!

did you ever get a fresh install running?

Yes, I did install for several people and no problem.
The only problem was that in some cases the wallet connects and get no new blocks.
Synchronise the complete blockchain was the solution and takes about 2 weeks.
What I also do is create an image from a working RaspberryPI and use that.

What problems do you have?

I am new here, so please excuse me, if I am not doing this right here.
I just need some help, as I propably did something stupid....

I have installed the ENRG Wallet v 1.6.0 for MAC. (I am running HighSierra)
I opened the wallet I sent some ENRG coins there.
Then I realised that the wallet ist not connecting. It stays out of sync.
So, what can I do to make the wallet connect.
As I said I am a new, but I did the same with other walltest and it worked fine.

Can anyone please help me, or tell me where I have to go with this problem?

Relax I guide you to a procedure to sync your wallet.
The coins are save and start to back up your wallet first
Use in finder Command G and go library application folder of EnergyCoin: " ~/Bibliotheek/Application Support/EnergyCoin" < this is the Dutch version
Download the EnergyCoin Bootstrap ZIP from the OP.

Remove all the files and folders in the EnergyCoin application folder except wallet.dat
Unzip  EnergyCoinBlkChain.7z in the EnergyCoin application folder

We are an open team en we shall deliver what we promise.
We are just waiting for the release of EnergyParty and the web wallet.
After that, we can build our first 2 applications with the smart tokens on EnergyParty.
The spike of 1950 Satoshi a few days back was maybe a new investor and the price of Bitcoin is ATH so that is not a big support to keep the exchange rate steady.
I see huge potential but we need much patience, maybe too much for some investors.
