Yes it will show as a Bitcoin Miner trojan, because it does contain the same code as the Bitcoin wallet.  The current BATA wallet is derived from an older version of the Bitcoin core (0.8.6.2).  I would interpret this as a false positive.

I have been running this wallet for a while now and have not noticed any irregular behavior compared to other wallets.

It's good to be aware of any virus detection that occurs with the wallet.

Thank you for the heads up!

We will have it fixed, no need to worry. 11 Exchanges run the wallet and have had no issues.

We maybe leaning towards decentralized "Barternodes" as a Barter platform:

Quote from dev support:

Masternodes / Decentralized Barter Market

If you plan to look into the decentralized market place, "Barternodes" would be an interesting option to host the market places.  Since each country has different rules, Barternodes could be based on country of origin.  If certain countries have restrictions and require a licence or registration, an operator hosting the Barternode in the country would be responsible for those requirements.

Let hear what you the community thinks of that.

Platform App Vs Barternodes.

Platform not decentralized and third party based. Barternodes decentralized.

This would be something we as a community would have to decide upon. I think an amount of at least 100k, maybe more depending on what the community decides.

The test of the wallet update /Satoshi:0.8.7.5/ is stable and shows no signs of issues.

Just to update the new wallet update will also include a new look - newer styling and left hand side menu.

Keep tuned.

We will have a new wallet released before POS - so a blockdate is not set in concrete yet.

The update makes way for a hybrid POW/POS wallet - once completed then will have a short period of POW / POS then switching over to Pure POS.

Is this new scam coin  ?

What would prompt you to ask this question?

BTA has long POW then will be switching to POS with some tweaks to the code.

BTA has asked no one for money via crowdfunding or ICO or no premine.

In the past year have not only been added to 12 exchanges, but remained on them as well.

If there is any other reason you feel BTA is a scam please do point it out and we will be able to discuss and hopefully be able to resolve your concerns.
