A few members of our club have noticed some interesting details after discovering one had a screenshot of Bittrex orders/Market history taken Feb 6.

A quick analysis suggests that a large portion of the new BATA coins being sold on the exchanges in the recent few days are a direct result of someone or a group selling almost instantly as they mine new coins, THE DEMAND decreased slightly in BATA but increased in BTC value. AVAILABLE SUPPLY has almost doubled in less than a week doing the simple math: the price dropped by half to compensate.

BEFORE THE MASSIVE PRICE INCREASE:
Time: 20:39:30 (02/06/2017)
Price: 0.00006236
Total Buy orders: 1,700,027  (BATA)   9  (BTC)
Total Sell Orders: 235,077 (BATA)     10,072 (BTC)

AFTER THE MASSIVE PRICE INCREASE:
Time: 20:28:00 (02/09/2017)
Price: 0.00005501
Total Buy orders: 1,680,034  (BATA)   11 (BTC)

Hi - It is nice to see this project getting some much deserved interest. It has been clear to me for some time that the fundamentals behind this coin are very strong; strong support from miners, fair distribution, low supply and active founder looking to improve and launch new features.

The questions now are around what does the future hold?? We know that there has been some work conducted on a blockchain upgrade to convert to a POS/POW Hybrid with supernodes and that there is now interest from a start up project (EntangleIT) to collaborate on nthCoin (https://github.com/nthCoin/nthCoin/blob/master/README.md) which is under development.

So some question I have are:

1. When is the POS/POW upgrade likely to take place?
2. How many BTA will be required to run a supernode?
3. What will the interest rate be?
4. How will staking rewards be calculated
5. What are the likely synergies that can be created with EntangleIT  
6. Any other news to look forward to this year

Some time ago BTA was submitted to Poloniex and they do not allow duplicate submissions. Not long ago I replied to the ticket asking whether they would take a look again at BTA, but the ticket was closed with no response.

Recently I sent out a tweet asking whether anyone would like to see BTA listed on Poloniex just to see if there was interest. There appears to be interest, but maybe not enough.

Poloniex has less listings than Bittrex and both are based in the USA.  If there was an exchange to consider next, I would recommend Livecoin.net based in the UK.  I think Bleutrade in the only exposure Bata has in Europe.
