Did you participate on developing, when you selling that? Sounds to me like he's a beta tester selling access to the pool. If you want to contact the pool developer and/or message him about joining you can find them at http://forum.sia.tech/topic/252/pps-pool-in-beta-testing/

I have read about Storj and came across SIA. How is SIA different than Storj and what does SIA have that makes it better in your opinion?
In all honesty, I became more interested when I saw the price shoot up really quick and thought there might be something in the platform that I missed.

ETH and SIA use the same mining algo, can be merge-mined?

Indeed very weird that there is no pool as of yet
Don't wish for something you don't want. Pools are the reason so many coins are centralizing. One being of most importance btc! Pools are a no no for decentralization. Honestly I hope the pps pool stays private beta Only problem with this is barrier for entry becomes higher which causes more centralization. I think no matter how we slice it and dice it. Decentralization in a world with unequal resources is a pipe dream. Best regards d57heinz

If they don't use the same mining algo, why should the difficulty explode?
Because enormous number of GPUs mining ETH will switch to ETH/SIA dual mining.

Because enormous number of GPUs mining ETH will switch to ETH/SIA dual mining. Well, that's what I am asking. I know that dual mining is possible when mining algos are the same. For example, Doge and LTC use the same algo. Doge had its code changed to be merge-mined with LTC and saved itself by doing it. Now their hashrates are about equal. How does this work for ETH and SIA? Can you provide details?
