how i can to make sync Sia wallet version 0.3.3-beta.2 ? dont see no one peers and last block 16335. I remembered that I have some KSia coins minered long time ago, a new wallet do not support wallet.dat file
You must install the latest wallet, 1.0.3. Create a new wallet there and load your old 0.3.3 wallet into it.

I've got a Seagate PersonalCloud with over 3tb of space I'm not using that I'd like to put up for hosting. There's a portion of that drive that is "public" and can be used without having to logon to my account. When I try to select a folder within that as my host storage folder, I get the error "symlink W:\Sia C:\Users\SantasNotReal\AppData\Roaming\Sia-UI\sia\host\storagemanager\b5d869e5: A required privilege is not held by the client."
Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? Thanks!
Running SIA as administrator fixed this for me. Hope that helps. Why can't SIA UI client work just as any other Windows appliucation? Usually it's not necessary to grant an administrator's priveleges to BitTorrent client, for example.

If you have not immersed yourself in the Sia slack yet, I suggest you give it a shot. Spend some time over there and you'll be less worried about your investment, if you're sitting on a loss atm https://slackin.sia.tech/

Is there any howto or manual or something that can help to configure a hosting in Sia UI version: v1.0.3 under Windows?
Everything is more or less clear until I press the "Announce" button at top right. What IP address should I input? And what port? Should I forward this(these) port(s) on my router?

The IP your are announcing is your public IP address. So yes, you'll want to forward the ports to where you have it installed. I believe there are three ports, 9981 & 9982 are the ports you want to forward. Ther eis also 9980 which is the API port. You want to keep this one closed and/or used for internal only. Otherwise, someone can mess up your day.

That is x64, so it won't work on a Windows 8 win32 system. Download the 32bit version instead.
Note, that it isn't a wallet.

Downloaded Sia-UI-v1.0.3-win32-x64.zip I conform i have windows 8 win32 The UI that you downloaded is the full app, which includes a wallet. If you don't plan on storing files or starting a contract, why not use Poloniex as a simple wallet service? what the .... do NOT recommend using Exchanges as Wallets ! maybe you were not around but heard stories about Mt Gox, MintPal ,.... eh ? think about it ! Do NOT trust exchanges, they are there to trade but NOT to hold/store your coins. problems with wallet ? check in on slack - they will sort u out

Think this is one of the only real coins out there. It has a great story behind it, commercial value and a huge following. Greta devs too! Im buying.
