@FunCaptchaMatt I have a problem:

I have created an account at Funcaptcha to install your captcha service in my faucets: www.satoshisfaucet.com and www.valley-bitcoin.com (under faucetbox script), and this is what I did:

1. Created the account
2. Add the domain and selected the PHP plugin
3. Copy the public and private keys and paste them in the captcha menu of faucetbox admin panel and enabled funcaptca
4. In chrome the funcaptcha loads perfectly, but when visiting the faucets in mozilla or opera it goes blank, with no content (the captcha)... do i have to modify the index code too? I thought it was just like I did with recaptcha (just putting the private and public keys) in the faucetbox admin panel, how can I have fun captcha working on my sites in all browsers?

Mozilla

Chrome
http://i60.tinypic.com/34zgkyf.png

For now I have just disabled funcaptcha and enabled recaptcha as I don't like losing users on the mozilla side...

Hi uchijashisui,

We definitely do work in Mozilla and Opera so we can help you get FunCaptcha running there. I have alerted customer support to look out for your report. Can you please just paste what you said into an email to support@funcaptcha.com? They will get back to you with any help you need.

@FunCaptchaMatt

As a user of faucets, I would like to know why the captcha vanishes(it tries to load) but changes to audio only?

All my browsers it happens, Chrome, Firefox, Maxthon, even the dreaded IE

Also why do the audio attempts change from five answers to ten numerical answers, from one day to the next.

Hi Racey,

FunCaptcha automatically falls back to simpler modes (including audio) if it's not confident it will run well on your configuration. But we fully support Chrome/Firefox/IE etc so there must be something else interfering. I have alerted customer support to look out for your report. Can you please just paste what you said into an email to support@funcaptcha.com? They will get back to you with any help you need. Please send along screenshots and details of your configuration. We'd really appreciate it because we want to work perfectly on every config.

As for five vs ten numerical answers, that is because the logic of the 3rd party service we use for audio CAPTCHA has varying levels of "suspicion" about your activity. I know the harder version is way too hard to do! The real solution is to figure out why you can't get the visual FunCaptcha working, since that's very easy and quick to do.

'Enable Get reward button after some time' should be in security tab no?

Why? It doesn't improve security in any way, it only forces user to keep your faucet open a little longer.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

if i add and address to "List of cryptocurrency addresses to ban" it will also ban his Referrals ?

No, it won't ban his referrals. However he won't receive any referral payments either.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

Guys I found a bot and this is an example of what you'll see with bots.

https://faucetbox.com/en/check/1K7ySXyGCJMw2ayRam93M3Mc7Z4jsLjtG8

They find sites that only judge time based on ip, not btc address. (As you see with faucetworld on this example.)
Then they proceed to have their auto-captcha solver repeatedly solve the captcha..
Or they just use random sites and have their auto-captcha solvers do the work.

Also, to anyone who thinks they can stop these botters.. it is not possible.
Anything a human can do, a computer can do.

A script can be written to recognize images or patterns in any fashion and solve captchas.

Another bypass which I tested to see how secure my faucet was.. Was to attempt to bypass the funcaptcha/recaptcha etc by using a computer based word-to-text program as the funcaptcha, etc. has the option for voice completion if you hit the little speaker in the right corner..
This also worked out and I was able to claim from my faucet using a bot that opened up the audio to text program at the correct time, played sound, and entered correct without fail about 197/200 tries.

Only thing I can say is, bots aren't going away unfortunately. :/
We'll all just have to adapt as best we can to prevent being scammed.

On a faucet list,I suppose the highest paying faucet should be on top of the list which is not the case.Is there any preferential treatment going on?.I suggest faucets be manually checked and the most rewarding one should make it to the top

The problem is that faucets changes a lot everything(claim times, rewards, etc) when they want. Also if i'm not wrong the owner of the faucet can just transfer coins from faucet address to another one and it will be counted like a payout from the faucet = easy way to be at the top.

Wow Faucetworld is getting abused.

Who owns it?

Edit: It's actually referral earnings that you see there. They appear to be non-referral earnings but they actually come from a referral tree.

No it's not referral earnings.
The referral earnings say referral payout next to them EVERY TIME.

He's using a proxy and hitting faucetworld with the same btc address over and over again. Look at the time between his claims. Faucetworld is like once an hour claims.. He's claimed sometimes twice in the same minute.. It's a bot for sure and it's doing very well.. I looked at it's history, already over 1 BTC and it's rates of gain have increased dramatically.

They don't.  I send a lot of traffic to them myself and have a few hundred refs, they are not labelled as such. Try it yourself, I am certain of this. You can't use a proxy like that.

That address is connected to a referral tree - perhaps a botting service. I appreciate you have uncovered this but if I told you about the  things I've ever found you'd believe me.  Not tooting my horn. I can't say too much as the site is indexed but still.

Very good faucet list and micropayment wallet.
If you want to make more you can make a rotator site and add faucetbox faucets.
I like the new version of script withfuncaptcha and more antibots tools.

https://ip-ranges.amazonaws.com/ip-ranges.json

The list is based on average daily payouts from faucet in last 48 hours. It worked good for first couple of months, but then faucet owners learned how to abuse it. We're slowly working on a list that'll be sorted based on user feedback.

It's not possible to keep such a big list up to date using manual checks. That would have to be the only thing we do and frankly we have much more important issues to figure out.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.
