@Kazuldur

When do you expect to launch r59?

(I didn't upgrade yet to 58.. but every upgrade taking me a bit time, so if 59 will come soon i can wait.. )

Couple days I hope, and it'll probably be mostly bugfix release (maybe we'll add one http://visualcaptcha.net/, but we're not sure yet).

Thanks for answer.
VisualCaptcha looks good. It will be good alternative for FunCaptcha. In case of any surprise..  Wink

We won't implement VisualCaptcha after all. It's too easy to bypass: https://github.com/valeriangalliat/visualcaptcha-bot (I've tested it and it is complete, working solution to bypass VisualCaptcha).

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

Since you said that usually bot bypass easly captchas that can be solved with a screenshot than this is one of the worst since clicking one thing is pretty easy lol

I've never considered VisualCaptcha as a good long term captcha. However, as it requires a click, it needs a custom implementation in the human-powered captcha-solver to know where it can click at all. I haven't encountered any captcha-solving service that supports VisualCaptcha, that's why I considered it at all, but I guess that's only because there are completely automated and free solvers available...

If anyone knows a good captcha, feel free to let me know Smiley

@Kazuldur my faucet www.satoshisfaucet.com was taken out of the list for the following reason:

Claim button...

I have put 6-7 I'm human click buttons to prevent bots (I change this configuration daily, somedays 4, others 7, etc.), so real people have to click those buttons to unlock the get reward button..., and there is a clear message taht says: Notice: Anti Bot System, click the 7 I'm Human to allow you to claim satoshis, the buttons is there, once you bypass this anti bot measure, please consider this when taking out faucets from the list... in the same way, why is http://www.babyfreebtc.com/ in the list.. as its owner uses the same system and he or she does not even put these instructions (like I do), if you check my faucet I have been paying out today without any problems, but my traffic has considerely drop down...

What is the problem whit FUNCAPTCHA mi sites are OFF LINE because have problems whit FUNCAPTCHA?

"funcaptcha.com 403 Forbidden Error Page

If you arrived here due to a search or clicking on a link click your Browser's back button to return to the previous page. Thank you.

IP Address: 172.31.**.**"

Same here. All FunCaptcha faucets DISABLED!

Hack?

Even their demo doesn't work: https://www.funcaptcha.com/demo/ .

No reason to think that's a hack, it's more likely that a deployment of a new version went wrong or something like that.

EDIT: looks like it's starting to work again, although it's slow as hell.
They are connected to AWS amazon vpn and half of the servers were off line for a night

That's right Gifted, AWS gave everyone a really bad night, including Netflix, Tinder, Amazon, and IMDb... we actually weathered it better than most as we manually swapped our traffic away from US-EAST, which caused some slowness but still let us keep serving up FunCaptcha. Here's an article on the outage: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/09/20/aws_database_outage/

It's very rare for AWS to fail so badly. Even so we are not satisfied and are looking for ways to "fail over" much faster and more gracefully. We know we need to be up and running 24/7 and unlike Netflix or Tinder, if we go down, important things can't get done. Wink

I have to say Funcaptcha is still the best for antibots even if it did go down its worth not getting robbed by bots. Smiley

Regarding Section 5 ("Deposit address may change at any time. Faucet Owners must check current address before each deposit they want to make. ") it would be nice if FaucetBox could send a courtesy email that deposit addresses have changed.
Since FB has our email address, blasting out an email to everyone that deposit addresses have changed would require little effort and would be the right thing to do.

Currently we simply don't have any mechanism to send mass mails to users. Don't worry too much about this, we don't plan changing deposit addresses, it's just in case our hot wallet got compromised or lost.

Updated to r59, but something isn't right. With completed captcha, but without inserted btc address it sends me to "You have to wait ** minutes" page instead of "Missing or invalid parameters" error. Why is that?

no.

It's a bug, will be fixed in r60, thanks for spotting that Smiley

Anyone making money from their faucet anymore? I used to but got my faucet taken off then put back on the list...at the bottom. I realised only russian traffic or similar low paying countries ventured that far down the list. It was then unprofitable so I let it dry.

Not a great amount but I kinda cover my costs.

If it wasn't for my referral income I wouldn't be able to survive. The key is balancing your payouts and checking to see what your competitors offer.

I can cover up to 50% of my outgoing Bitcoin in referral earnings per day. A lot of faucets cannot say the same. Good employment of good rotators can really help.

The ecosystem is so different to what it was 6 months ago. If you didn't/don't have a strategy for scaling your faucets over time you will ultimately see your traffic dip and die.

Dry faucets are taken down automaticaly. And as explained many times earlier, despite doing what we can, we don't have enough man power to keep the list clean.

Anyone making money from their faucet anymore? I used to but got my faucet taken off then put back on the list...at the bottom. I realised only russian traffic or similar low paying countries ventured that far down the list. It was then unprofitable so I let it dry.

It's basically impossible to earn anything if you only use the FaucetBOX.com faucets list. If such a list could be enough, why would FaucetBOX.com let anyone into the system? We could just make hundreds of faucets ourselves, put it on the list and take all the profits Smiley. You won't earn anything if you just create a faucet and put it on the list. You have to actively advertise it through other channels.

Also the position on the list is only based on how much do you pay per user, being taken down and put back doesn't affect that.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.
