I think the biggest problem with bitcoin right now is so obvious if you don't know what it is you shouldn't even be involved in this experiment/community.

my biggest problem is hard to get bitcoin, bitcoin prize not stable in my country not accepted bitcoin so must convert it to my bank first and then go buy a things...i think that it take times... will be good if have a bitcoin atm and direct buy a things
There are ATM's now who are connected to bitcoin wallet sites. Though holding it would be much better. But if you really need it go get it. That is the real essence of earning, it is to help you with your expenses or other things that will make your life more comfortable.

Software development team here. We would like to hear from the community what are the most annoying\frustrating stuff you have with Bitcoin and would love to get a solution for ? Feel free to talk about any problem, even if it seems unsolvable or too abstract (e.g. Bitcoin is not safe enough for the average user) Edit: After reading all the replies, I feel confident summarizing that the #1 problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption. And the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security. We are a team of entrepreneurs and software developers that are going to spend the next following months-year on developing a new product. One of the most appealing markets for us is the Bitcoin market. We will try to learn us much as possible from your replies and try to tackle the problems head on.
I also think that the lack of adoption is the downfall of Bitcoin. There are barely any shops near me that accept Bitcoin. Actually....none.

its hard to use on a day to day basis. Yes I know overstock, dell/alienware, etc take btc, but it is rare to never that I need anything from them
the only thing that we had the biggest masalh of bitcoin is the price is unstable, it is common that the biggest problem we have to face for the bitcoin You should never consider this to be the biggest problem. During the past years also each day the price varies now it got a drastic change. So what you need to do is plan accordingly then invest. Nowhere its possible to invest without a fluctuation in the market. If there is fluctuation only there is profit for the users. If the price is same all time there is no gain.

Lack of adaption is the biggest problem for bitcoins. There are ways to make it usable everywhere. Like foldapp, there must be apps for all kind of people to use it for the day-to-day means of activities like retail purchase, offering to home less people and many others. This is the basic thing everyone spends money, If you enable basic spendings of everyone via your app to adapt bitcoin, easy to go.

True, true, true. How about media coverage. So that this companies that makes apps will see that there are now a lot of people using this kind of currency. That way is one of those company use it maybe others will start using it too due to the trust that have been given by that company for the currency.

Media will never come in support of bitcoins as they are busy in spreading negative news related to bitcoins and government is supporting them, as governments view bitcoin as a threat to banking system, and if bitcoin gets on the mainstream then there would be a full stop on their corrupted activities.

There is no consensus of what bitcoin should be. A store or value like gold, or more like cash for every day transactions. I personally think it is ridiculues to assume and want bitcoin to be use for everyday purchases. Do you really want every single purchase of coffee, baby nappies, newspapers, groceries be recorded in ALL nodes all over the world? This seems as a massive waste of processing power of miners all over the world competing to confirm ppl coffee purchase from every single coffee shop on the planet.

i believe that the biggest problem is that bitcoin isnt that popular and the lack of adoption is kind of like a subset of that. imo if you solve the popularity issue of bitcoin adoption will simply follow.

Nothing really, I love everything about except that mining is only left for the rich guys who can afford to make huge farms and earn bitcoins, I don't think it was meant to be this way.

No worries. Nowadays there are lots of methods and choices to earn bitcoin unlike the old days that mining is the famous way to earn bitcoin but really needs a big capital. Just find some that you are comfortable with.

For me, probably the transaction confirmation times. That is one the biggest wow or attractive factors with bitcoin for myself personally. It is getting too long.
Yep nowadays it's getting very slow, i remember to transact in 10 min a while ago, now it takes 50 minutes. It would be nice for a faster confirm time like 5-6 minutes.

The biggest problem i have with bitcoin is that its not easy to buy and buying costs as i have to pay more than its value. one problem i have too is that i don't have a hero/legendary forum account for signature campaign. and buying such account also costs.

Im experiencing it too like in my previous transactions. Im using web wallet most of the time (Coinbase and our local wallet exchange), and transaction time really sucks but in the past I don't have a experience like that using web wallets most of the time.

My main problem when using BTC is the slow confirmation and sometimes the technical issues, when I used to use the Bitcoin Core client I had allot of different issues from software failure to failure connecting to network (using blockchain.info), Would be awesome if there is a client with no glitches.

I don't mind the slow confirmation, I find it to be faster then a bank anyway I don't have an issue with that but yes software failure and such There's nothing we can do about it ourselves.

It was never designed to be a cash transfer system, even if Satoshi named it like that in his whitepaper, the architecture is not fit for it. We will probably use LTC or Dash for that.

I am just curious. There has been posted a lot of ideas on this thread. Have the developers realized only one of them?
