I want to also add to this that there needs to be a lot more focus into getting more merchants to accept cryptocurrency. I still keep talking to amazon every so often to get them to consider accepting at least bitcoin for payments.

and more ppl should be doing this not just about the tech behind a coin but the actual practical use for it in the real world...this aspect seems to be quite overlooked...

Amazon already has their own coin. They would probably never switch to bitcoin because they only use technology that they create/own.

I have also fixed the ipv6 issue and submitted to yobit for their free request but I have been having some big problems with that exchange so Im not too keen on giving them any money. I am banned from there for a week for asking where withdrawals were and when some coins would be fixed to new repos that have taken a month and nothing has happened so I dont trust yobit anymore tbh. Anyways, heres my github with the ipv6 changes and thats also where I will be releasing any future changes:

i disagree for crypto. Check most of the alt coins.. they make them premine or start off get sick of it or no return with their time and just dump it. Sometimes people make fake accounts to float many different cryptos etc.

Changing the POS amount or the POW numbers isn't that. Eth added smart contract and programatic block chain apps etc. Thats something different. Granted it doesn't interest me to invest BUT its different. Sprouts is just another POS coin with high interest rate... yes i do have some but im not going to pull the wool over my eyes in hopes of convincing others so i can profit. Its no different than other POS coins. If a dev is serious they'll do something new and revolutionary with it.

O and adding tor or irc or something stupid like that into the wallet isn't revolutionary... adding something NEW NEW for its use. innovate stop immitating.

there is definitely a lot of that going on, but there are a few of those imitation coin that seem to excel in branding and maybe because they have a favorable combination of metrics. Part of me wonders if scrypt coins would have fared better the last few years if significant scrypt asic appliance solutions had truly come to market in meaningful numbers.

With the whole cryptsy debacle, it seems a lot of altcoins are getting killed off. So there is some culling going on to some degree.

Looks like the #1 guy on the richlist sold 35m yesterday. You should watch his account for transfers to bittrex. THen you'll know when a large sell is coming and you can lower the bid to get some cheap sprouts. THis clown looks like he'll take whatever price you offer him anyway.
