Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money?

Maybe yes, maybe no. Only holding it without doing nothing for long time is is not
profitable unless you bought it with the lowest rate ever. It would be more profitable if you
can trade it when there is a good chance to make profit. But holding your money maybe is also a
good way if you want to only to make money and if you want only that bitcoin should be kept and never used for some thing.

This is true if the holder of the bitcoin buy it to the lowest price and now it is around turning it to $800

yeah bitcoin is now around 800$ and bitcoin is really increasing its price so it mean bitcoin again start to rising its price and i hold my bitcoin from few years i now my bitcoin value is rising too much faster and i am getting a big profit from bitcoin but i still hold my bitcoin.

Long term investments are generaly always risky because you can predict so far in the future what will happen. But to my opinion Bitcoin is worth that risk and it's most profitable long term. Sometimes when the dumps are big it's a bit hard to keep the cool head and try to be reasonable but with experience is easier.

Say that somebody buy stocks that tend to grow slowly. These stocks tend to be less volatile, that is less risky, because the underlying company has steady but not spectacular growth. I didn't knew that there are people who are speculating that bitcoin is going to drop back to $600. I believe that there will be price decrease.

But that is not going to be up to that point, maybe $50-$100 is possible but with that amount, I don't think so.

Absolutely, storing bitcoin is beneficial on a micro level but since the value and price get affected with the activities of macro levels (and vice versa), the concept of storing bitcoin without spending any part of it is against the growth of itself. I believe the movement is growth and hence we should keep spending at least some part of our holdings in order to contribute to the growth of the network.

You are already off-topic mate since you do mention about halving. The next halving wont happen next year but in 2020. Better search off what is the true meaning of bitcoin halving. Well we can't all be holding until forever. That would mean that the supply will be stagnant and no one will be able to buy anything if everybody just held. And the very moment one person sells his bitcoins, then the price will dip really bad. So I think if everybody only held bitcoins and not use it, then it'll be bad and it might kill bitcoins.

But if you do have knowledge in establishing a business or franchising some business and your current location is pretty good, then I think you should do that instead. There are other things that are better investment than holding bitcoins. Holding bitcoins would take years to make profit so I think holding bitcoin is a good back up plan just in case things go south.

Well for me both are needed while you are saving and holding bitcoin you need to have a small business that you can scaleup your bitcoin to increase the amount if you are just holding it takes a long time before you can get benefits of price increase..

I think he is totally newbie to bitcoin because he have heard about halving in 2016 but do not have any knowledge that it is passed a few months ago but still if he believe that the price will increase much higher and have to hold for longer then he is right it will definitely increase in value till the coming year and will continue more.

That's good range of holding but that is only applicable if you do have other source of income or else if you are always depending your profit with bitcoin then you must not do that. And this is a good example that many early adopters hold for a long time, and their wait is worth it because we can see that the price now is very good enough.

I could not wait for 5 years or so.. it takes too long time.. it is better to save more bitcoin and start your own business or better gradually save and spend your bitcoin for your business this is what i do that i am now started a blogging which is gradually increases the traffic and i hope in the future i can get more traffic.. which is it can be turn into bitcoin coin generator for me .. as my passive income right now i am earnings with bitcoin for advertising a-ads or other adnetwork.. this is method can be more good as investment than you are actually waiting for the bitcoin will rise before you can get profit.
