Holding is just like trading or let's say it is truly trading. Because you just need to wait for the price to increase just like the way we trade. We are going to buy alt coins for lower price and hoping for its price to increase. And for me, holding is one of the best way to make money if you just patient enough and you have enough funds for buying bitcoins.

In my understanding it's a long term investment that you will trade with fiat once you see you are in profit already, that method is very effective in the crypto world especially when holding bitcoins because as we can see, people are coming in and the price is increasing. Yes it is a long term investment just like the stock market. You will buy stocks from a certain company and you will just do nothing but monitor its price and if you think that the company is already earning and upon seeing the new buy amount of their stocks is now different and it is totally increased, then you can just sell but you cannot undo it, just like in bitcoin.

I agree with you, No one knows what will happen in the future so even holding bitcoin for a long run or long term investment is also risky because the coin that we are using is volatile to its price which is bitcoin. So if were you, It is both best if you study trading and also do long term investment so even if you fail in trading you can come up and recover those loss from long term investment.

Yeah, it is good way to make money but at times keeping the bitcoin for very long time might not be a good ea, instead you buy at available lower price and sell it at possible higher price and keeping repeating the process for long haul, you will see your money grow like never before. For doing so, you never need to be a perfect trader, passive participation in trading is more than enough.

If you are holding a small amount then it won't be a profitable decision, making profits from holding is a good option only if you are holding a huge amount of coins and if not then its better to keep them use in trading where you can grow your bitcoins and at the same time you will be making some profits too.

Well the fact is you can still earn some profits since your money is being multiplied by just holding your coin for certain matters although its small but its good enough since your not doing anything to make it grow, we can't dictate people on how much they want to hold since not all of people stakings bitcoin here are rich enough to buy huge volumes of bitcoins, and maybe others are doing some test hold to see if they can get some little profit by this doing.

Holding is the safest way to make profits in long run, holding can be only risky if price drops in the future but looking at the development of bitcoins I don't think that price will fall so if you don't want to take any risk with your bitcoins by investing them anywhere, its better to hold them and sell when price goes higher.

Yes, there is also a risk in keeping bitcoins ideal so why not to take more risk where the returns are more than keeping bitcoins ideal? There will be higher risk, but on the other hand, we should understand the principle of high-risk, high-returns. it depends on the situation but i believe it is a risky thing because we dont know the fluctuation of bitcoin nowadays..but this moth it increases tremendously.so it is good to exchange now because next year it might pump more or it might drop..so its up to you..if you are a risk taker hold it up because maybe it will still increase the price..but if you believe that it will dump its okay to exchange it for cash now because its the peak of bitcoin. but you can also invest it or trade it for it to increase....but i believe that bitcoin is increasing price because it is one of the trending way to earn money today..so i suggest not holding it but finding a way to icrease it..you can find ways to increase bitcoin in this forum..so for this last message all i can say is...if you are a risk taker hold it if you are not just exchange it but if you want to increase bitcoin trade it or find ways in these forumm.....thanks again everyone

But I think it also depend on your investment, as if you are holding a big amount of bitcoin for a long time then it can be profitable but if you are investing a small amount then it will not be such a good idea as it will be just the vestige of time.

For despite all the great benefits of the blockchain, it seems that bitcoin is only being valued by many bitcoin holders in terms of its monetary value.
