Yes, holding for a long term is a great idea but I don't think that you hold all your earnings, there are lot of opportunities awaiting out there and don't depend all in bitcoin. Yes, bitcoin can change our life but I am not advising that you just depend on bitcoin, explore don't just wait and hold. You can use bitcoin in other ways like opening a new business etc.

Why to simply hold them for a long term when we have an choice to grow them in trading and I will never keep my coins idle in wallet without using it anywhere as it will make bitcoins a weaker currency in future so I will prefer to invest them in trading and try to multiply them and I am sure the number of coins will be much higher in future in compare to only holding them.

From a year ago until now the bitcoin price doubled, so if someone could buy 5000BTC in a month and hold for 11 months he would've owned $4.5m by selling them right now considering the price at the time of buying $450. show me any safe trading or investing method like that.
Next year price will be around twice as it is right now and people will doubt it yet again.

I guess with your method it's better to invest during ICO, some altcoins are good in pumping its price, we could make great income if ever we will risk on them. The moment you earn form your altcoins investment, try to consider converting it to bitcoin and save for long term. That's my plan actually, just sharing with you guys as I feel it's useful.

It depends. Not all the news about bitcoin can be trusted. There are also news that are fake and sometimes would just lead you to the wrong speculation. But if you keep on studying the graphs, and what was talked about in this forum about the price, then eventually you will learn how the price moves and that's the right time to move in to the higher level which is trading.

Well, it is riskier if you spend your money in trading. Holding bitcoin, however, is more safer although I can only bring you a small profit. If you decide to invest for a long term, holdding bitcoin is the most suitable way for you because in about 5 or 10 years later, you can obtain a lot of profit from it since i can unsure that the prices will hit the sky. Basically it's depends on how you want to manage your money to grow
When you have a lot of business to handle then you can do trading right?
For me most people who really busy will choose long term holding bitcoin , profit or not it's up to you but i can say so far so good for long term investors.

I think holding bitcoins for a long term can be a really good decision to make but holding should be limited to maximum 5 years and not more then that bitcoin will surely survive for next 5 years but not sure whether it can sustain for next 15 to 20 years or not and price will be definitely higher in next 5 years so I think that would be the best time to sell bitcoins.

Actually 5 years is a pretty big term and if someone can save like 2-3 bitcoins at least for this much time I can almost guarantee that he will multiply his money ten times because see the more people are coming the lesser bitcoins are there in each person's wallet and hence every bit is getting more and more precious, simple and easy as that !

I believe that trading is also about luck A successful short trade can only be done if the price of bitcoin increased shortly after you bought them. For example, the people that bought bitcoins before the price went up to 1,100$ after just a couple of days. They didn't study anything at all. They just got lucky that at the time they bought their coins the price went up dramatically. You can say that the timing was good or something but it's actually just luck since you don't know when exactly would the price of bitcoin go up.

I do not think that there is any gambling if someone invest in bitcoin and wait for longer because in gambling a person either get full or get zero but in investment of bitcoin every person is getting the profit and if the price is not increasing then no one get the lose in its investment. The other point is that in gambling if one person win then the other one lose while in investment of bitcoin every user who have invested win and get the profit.
