University of Toronto alters bathroom policy after two reports of voyeurism"The University of Toronto has decreased the number of gender-neutral bathrooms in one of its colleges after two women became victims of voyeurism when they were filmed while showering.
Toronto Police Const. Victor Kwong said Monday that two women in separate instances at the Whitney Hall residence reported that they saw a cellphone reach over the shower-stall dividers in an attempt to record them. Police have yet to find any information about the culprit, but the investigation is ongoing.
At least one gender-neutral washroom remains on each floor....."

The second half of the video seems to show a fake holographic plane and multiple orbs (the uploader claims they're Nephlim) as our camera crew get too close to the edge. I was going to post this to the Flat Earth thread but it has a bit of a religious angle with the reference to the fallen ones so I figured this is more appropriate.  |

CERN prepares to test revolutionary mini-accelerator"Machines that ‘surf’ particles on electric fields could reach high energies at a lower price.
The home of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the world’s largest particle accelerator, is getting a new machine — and this time, the whole point is to keep it small.
On 18 September, the council that governs CERN, Europe’s premier particle-physics laboratory, near Geneva, Switzerland, approved a boost in funding for a planned experiment called the Advanced Wakefield Experiment, or AWAKE. Due to switch on next year, AWAKE will accelerate particles by ‘surfing’ them on waves of electric charge created in a plasma, or ionized gas. It is a method that could allow future accelerators to probe matter and the forces of nature at ever-higher energies, without the usual accompanying increase in the instruments’ size and therefore cost.
Although plans are afoot to build bigger machines once the LHC reaches the end of its life in the 2030s, many fear that accelerator size is nearing its limit and that such proposals may simply prove too expensive to implement.
“When you look at cost estimates for these machines and the scale of machines, you understand that maybe a new breakthrough regime is needed,” says Nick Walker, an accelerator physicist at DESY, Germany’s high-energy-physics laboratory in Hamburg.
Conventional colliders, such as the 27-kilometre-long LHC, use electric fields to move charged particles through a tunnel; the fields switch from positive to negative at a frequency that means the particles are constantly nudged forward, gaining energy with each push. But such colliders use metal-walled cavities that spark if the electric field is too strong. As a result, the only way to further increase the particles’ speed, and therefore energy, is to lengthen the tunnel.
Plasma wakefield accelerators, which were first proposed in the 1970s, are designed to break this cycle, says physicist Allen Caldwell at the Max Planck Institute for Physics in Munich, Germany, who will lead the AWAKE experiment. They send a pulse of charged particles or laser light through a plasma, which sets electrons and positively charged ions oscillating in its wake. The resulting regions of alternating negative and positive charge form waves that accelerate further charged particles. Injected at just the right time, these particles effectively surf the waves (see ‘Wakefield acceleration’). Crucially, as the electric fields are much stronger than those in a conventional collider, the acceleration can be as much as 1,000 times greater over the same distance...." |

Video: Heads Up! NASA Experiment Off East Coast Lights Up the Sky Like Project Blue Beam "NASA is launching tests of some new tech that will include releasing colorful vapor tracers 130 miles above the Earth. It sounds like it’s going to be a lot like Project Blue Beam.
The vapors will be ejected from a sounding rocket launched from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. NASA explains that it has actually been injecting various vapor tracers into the atmosphere since the 1950s—these trails help scientists understand “the naturally occurring flows of ionized and neutral particles” in the upper atmosphere by injecting color tracers and tracking the flow across the sky.
Last night, NASA ejected four different payloads of a mix of barium and strontium, creating “a cloud with a mixture of blue-green and red color.” Here’s an example of a barium release provided by NASA; on the upper left you can see the barium’s “ionized component, which has become elongated along the Earth’s magnetic field lines.”

Video: Large Fire In Hiroshima: Japanese Media Report People Unconscious, Others Missing "Firefighters were called to contain a large fire in downtown Hiroshima which is reported to have hit a cafe. Local media say people are missing, while at least four people have been taken to hospital. Two men and two women were taken to the hospital, according to the Asahi news outlet. The website 47news.jp is also writing that there are a number of unconscious and missing people. LiveDoor News reported that around a dozen people are injured, and that the fire began on the first floor of the building. The structure is said to be located about one kilometer from the city's main train station. The area is crowded with restaurants and cafes. Video: Now frozen water and BLUE SKY found On Pluto NASA: New Horizons Finds Blue Skies and Water Ice on Pluto"The first color images of Pluto’s atmospheric hazes, returned by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft last week, reveal that the hazes are blue. “Who would have expected a blue sky in the Kuiper Belt? It’s gorgeous,” said Alan Stern, New Horizons principal investigator from Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), Boulder, Colorado. The haze particles themselves are likely gray or red, but the way they scatter blue light has gotten the attention of the New Horizons science team. “That striking blue tint tells us about the size and composition of the haze particles,” said science team researcher Carly Howett, also of SwRI. “A blue sky often results from scattering of sunlight by very small particles. On Earth, those particles are very tiny nitrogen molecules. On Pluto they appear to be larger — but still relatively small — soot-like particles we call tholins.” Scientists believe the tholin particles form high in the atmosphere, where ultraviolet sunlight breaks apart and ionizes nitrogen and methane molecules and allows them to react with one another to form more and more complex negatively and positively charged ions. When they recombine, they form very complex macromolecules, a process first found to occur in the upper atmosphere of Saturn’s moon Titan. The more complex molecules continue to combine and grow until they become small particles; volatile gases condense and coat their surfaces with ice frost before they have time to fall through the atmosphere to the surface, where they add to Pluto’s red coloring. In a second significant finding, New Horizons has detected numerous small, exposed regions of water ice on Pluto. The discovery was made from data collected by the Ralph spectral composition mapper on New Horizons....."  |

This is a follow-up piece to a report we put up in August 2013. A little more background info lending to the fact that the 1960s national anthem subliminal "They Live" vid might in fact be a real experiment conducted as part of the CIA's MKUltra mind control experiments running throughout the Cold War (and beyond).
According to a Southern California Law Review entered into a 1984 Congressional Hearing on subliminal technology, "Recently declassified materials document CIA interest in subliminal communication during the late 1950's. These documents suggest that government use of subliminal techniques could proliferate and yet remain undisclosed for national security reasons. Therefore, the extent and types of uses to which subliminal communication devices are being put may never be completely determined."

CNN claims Russian missiles crashed in Iran, Moscow refutes, US can’t confirm "A CNN report, claiming that several Russian cruise missiles targeting Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) positions in Syria actually landed in Iran, has been refuted by the Russian Defense Ministry, while the US State Department say they can’t confirm.
The American broadcaster cited two unnamed US officials, who said that four Russian missiles had crashed somewhere in Iran after being launched from vessels in the Caspian Sea. The report suggested that “some buildings were damaged and civilians may have been hurt.”
This triggered a quick reaction from the Russian Defense Ministry, with spokesman Igor Konashenkov saying that all the missiles had hit their targets on Wednesday. “Unlike CNN, we don’t distribute information citing anonymous sources, but show the very missile launches and the way they hit their targets almost in real time,” Konashenkov said. Lithium, and
Barium.
Tri-methyl aluminum (TMA)
Tri-methyl aluminum reacts with oxygen and produces chemi-luminescence when exposed to the atmosphere. The products of the reaction are aluminum oxide, carbon dioxide, and water vapor, which also occur naturally in the atmosphere. TMA releases are most often used to study the neutral winds in the lower ionosphere at night at altitudes of 100 miles (160 kilometers) or less.
Lithium
Lithium vapor is also used to study neutral winds in the upper atmosphere. Lithium gas has an unusually bright narrow-band emission at 670.7 nanometers, a wavelength in the infrared range, which enables it to be visible in the daytime with cameras with infrared filters. In fact, Lithium is the only vapor that can be imaged during the day and is also one of the few vapors that can be used at high altitudes (> 124 miles or 200 kilometers) at night. At night, its color is bright red.
Barium
Barium is used to study the motion of both ions and neutrals in space. A fraction of a barium cloud ionizes quickly when exposed to sunlight and has a purple-red color. Its motions can be used to track the motion of the charged particles in the ionosphere. The remainder of the barium release is neutral, having a different color, and can be used to track the motion of the neutral particles in the upper atmosphere. A small quantity of strontium or lithium is sometimes added to the barium mixture to enhance the neutral barium emissions, making it easier to track the neutral cloud. Since the observer must be in darkness while the barium cloud is in sunlight, the technique is limited to local time observations near sunset or sunrise." |

About a year ago I read an article that warned about this coming technology, and I’ve been following the technology ever since. The article mentioned an overhaul of the current credit card system, in order to help prevent fraud.
On October 15, 2015 all credit card processors will be required to upgrade their machines to accept cards containing RFID chips, in addition to the strips. The RFID technology is supposed to be more secure than the current strip used by credit cards, and I believe they intend to phase out the stripe sometime in the future. Probably sooner than later.
It’s only a matter of time before hackers and thieves figure out how to get our information off of the chip, and into their freeloading hands. At that point, there will be the need for a new solution. Maybe a chip in the right hand or forehead? I believe this is where we are headed, and unfortunately there isn’t much we can do about it. I for one am not fully confident in the security of this new technology, so I looked into ways to protect my information from freeloading thieves." |
