Why have Bitcoin instead of cash?

Makes no sense we have to choose between fiat and bitcoin, even with a debit card bitcoin still not yet accepted at the most merchants, in fact just some online merchants working with bitcoin, fiat has plenty control over the market and it wont change.

Yes, once bitcoin is converted into fiats and loaded into debit card, there will be no difference from usual bank ATM cards.

He must be meaning to restrictions that some countries are having about third party debit cards. Because all bitcoin debit cards are not available to all the countries worldwide.

If your country is listed on the allowed list of debit cards for the particular bitcoin debit card company then their debit card will not have any different from that country's credit/debit cards.

It is easy to realize that fiat currency  has much more acceptance around the  world, but it is still early to know if fiat  will stay in control or not. Things change very fast in this age  of the internet. In addition, there are many advantages  that Bitcoin can bring  that few people know.

I personally think it is safer  than other currencies, add  the fact that it is also difficult  to someone steal your bitcoins. Certainly  it's one of the best currencies of  the century, and hopefully the  currency of the future.

With Bitcoin you can shop online and you can use it as an investment and that is why some might think that Bitcoin is better then cash.
To me it does not really matter because money is money in the end but I would like to have both.

With regard to risk issues, if  you hold cash there are chances  that it might get stolen, but using btcs  you can hold your coins in  your digital wallet.

bitcoin is too safer and secure and its transaction is very faster and bitcoin transaction fees is very lower.

The bitcoin block size is small, the transaction traffic is congested. So it will not be used widely by the ordinary people in the future as the fee is too high.

That is my concern as well. I am afraid that the bitcoin will be replaced by other popular fast digital coins in the future.

That could be very true. There's no stopping healthy competition but at one point they can overtake bitcoin in popularity.
We will have to see but if it happens you have to jump the ship quick and get rid of all your coins.

in my opinion cash is better than bitcoin, because we can see and hold cash, or we can say cash is tangible, while bitcoin is a digital currency so we cant actually touch it, so if our money is being hacked then there is no chance its going to come back to us, so for security reason i choose cash rather than bitcoin

Botch cash and BTC have their place,I don't think one can fully replace the other at least for now,in the future maybe BTC can prevail but a lot of things have to happen before that so BTC is used by almost everyone and accepted everywhere

Yeah, I think the best benefit of bitcoin is just to spend in online in trading, investing, and of course gambling. Aside from the aforementioned I have not seen any business industry yet that boom the demand of bitcoin.

I'm not sure it's a good idea, for me personaly, cash is much better than bitcoins and i prefer to use cash, it's much more easy, and the main benefit is that cash can be used offline.

Yes it is easy to use cash than bitcoin because we can spend our cash into anything we want like buying things in market because bitcoin can't do that and cash has more benefits than bitcoin but we are also using bitcoin to earn cash then we need both of them

True. Better when you want to go to another country without holding a large amount of cash. They wont see it and wont even feel that you are carrying such an amount. It is also protected if are using apps of an exchange website.

True. Better when you want to go to another country without holding a large amount of cash. They wont see it and wont even feel that you are carrying such an amount. It is also protected if are using apps of an exchange website.

Yes, the borderless nature of bitcoin will help the tourists and many other similar people like reporters. But, the real problem here must be all the countries do not have options to spend bitcoin, so you might need to find an exchanger to get bitcoin to be converted into local fiats, still bitcoin must be a good solution here.

I don't think you should  try having all in bitcoins and nothing  in fiat money. Because you can't buy  everything with btc, you  also need cash, of course.

And converting bitcoin is really a hassle one since no doubt that bitcoin can't be used everywhere. You also need an active internet connection to use bitcoin.

Bitcoin even for more development in the future can't still do the majority of usual cash can do so it's not making sense to erase the whole usage of cash and replace it with bitcoin.

I agree with all of that. I have a friend whose work is to send money to another company in cash. Just thinking what if it can be done with bitcoin. My friend wont be afraid that it can be stolen in him and will be deducted in his salary. They should be thinking of another way to transact that instead of a bag full of money.

I agree with all of that. I have a friend whose work is to send money to another company in cash. Just thinking what if it can be done with bitcoin. My friend wont be afraid that it can be stolen in him and will be deducted in his salary. They should be thinking of another way to transact that instead of a bag full of money.

thats right instead bringing the bag of money just bring gadgets that can open your transaction if its needed of physical appearance so the messenger wont be afraid or wont risking his life, that's one great feature of btc.
